Just a quick post..

I just wanted to add that Tour Guide Mike is not an actual book, but an online planner. It is useful b/c it gives predictions of crowd levels at the park day by day.

Debbie...you don't have to take the naproxen all the time. You can just take it when you are in pain. If the pain becomes more chronic, your dr might want you to take it regularly. Love your new siggy!

Have a good weekend everyone. Keep warm!

I love the PassPorter. We used to get the Birnbaum's which I think is okay if you have never been to Disney before. It's fun to show kids w/all the pictures in it. Now I want something that will help me plan better which I think the Passporter does.
Debbie - I would love to meet up again when the weather gets warmer. My sister found airfare AA and United for $109 roundtrip for around the time we are going. I felt bad because I didn't want to wait to get plane tickets and we spent $240 roundtrip. But we leave from Ohare so for us it will take less time to get to the airport. Are you trying to go in March because of spring break?

Going to the World June 6-12. I am totally obsessing. I can't seem to get myself off of this site to do housework or pay attention to the kids. I booked all the meals today and made my daughter an appointement at the BBB. My DH thinks I am crazy and that I will ruin the trip will all my over organizing. I pointed out the he wouldn't enjoy getting there and going hungry because we can't get into any TS restaurants.

What he is really worried about is that I will stangle his mother who is going with us. She is my opposite. Unorganized and a dippy sometimes. I planned out all the meals and what parks we should go to for each day. If I could get show times I would plan that too.

I am sick and I need help. pirate: pirate: princess:

We will be there June 6 - 13!!!     My DSIS and her DS8 and DD7 with myself and my DH. Maybe we'll see you there!

Debbie, sorry to hear about your cousin. Rough place to be for a new mommy! I will be praying for her. Hope you feel better.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!:yay:

::MinnieMo Magicfor2 where are you staying ? We will be at CSR.

Thanks for all the guide book suggestions everyone. I am borrowing a few from the library to look over and then will go to the book store and buy the one I like best. I think I am going to send one to my mother-in-law for her birthday too. She is going with us. Perhaps if she reads the same book I do she will get with my program...LOL . I am a crazy worry wort planner and she is a spontaneous freak who ruins all my plans.... OH WELL we love her anyway!!

Hi Everyone,
We are doing OK. Nothing too exciting or anything. Still cold…still sick of winter…still procrastinating everything I need to do…still don’t have a ticker!
Waa Waa! That’s why I haven’t posted. I didn’t want you guys to have to listen to me whine!

We went to ABT (a big electronics/appliance store) to look for a few things yesterday because they had their huge customer appreciation sale. We went from looking at a $700.00 (not including a $60.00 an hour instillation fee) overhead DVD playing system for our mini van to the $1500.00 version where the DVD screens and players are in the back of the head rests (again not including about 5 hours of instillation fees) to actually leaving with a portable Sony DVD player that only cost $164.00 (huge sale price) plus $25.00 for a case that hooked onto the head rest! I said to my DH…for $1600.00 we could stay at POP for a week!

Winter seems to be zapping all my energy though. I feel like doing nothing! When we don’t have to get up to go anywhere I am thrilled! What a bum I am. My poor kids! Maybe we will try and play in the snow today if I feel it’s warm enough. Seems awfully gloomy out there! I am such a baby when it comes to the cold!

Have a great week everyone!
Hope you are all doing well.
No news is good news, right?
Debbie

Not much going on here either. DD is wearing her PJs inside out and backwards and flushing ice down the toilet in hopes for a snow day tomorrow..we may get a big inch or two. Wow. Believe it when I say..they will cancel school for only 1-2 inches.

Debbie..good purchase! We did the same thing you did a few years back. Although the DVDs o the roofs or the headrests are neat..a portable DVD does the same thing AND you can take it on the plane or bring the adapter and plug it in the hotel room and the kids can watch something else while you're watching the TV. We just bought another so that each girl has their own. My 11yo (preteen) wants nothing to do with The BAckyardigans and MAx & Ruby.

Not much here either :confused3 , but shoveling snow, and waiting for yet another storm. Gads I'm ready for spring, and watching the travel channel is not helping

I do feel like I am being a big baby about winter but I am done with it! 6 to 12 inches possible here!

The weather channel is saying the same thing for Northern Ohio, and yes I'm a BIG baby about it also. We've had 20 some odd days of cold, snow , and clouds. It's wearing a little thin, and I'm beginning to wonder about global warming.... where is it, and can we have some here? ;)

I know ya'll will hate me for saying this, but man I wish we could get some snow. It just cold and wet here. If it is going to be this cold at least give me some snow with it!

I know what you mean...if it is going to be cold and miserable at least throw some snow into the mix so it looks pretty and the kids can at least have fun!

Just checking in to let y'all know that I'm still with ya'. I just can't seem to get to the computer much anymore, except for making time for a new project. I've been learning how to be an Amazon reseller. I love books and there is no investment for me to try it. So I figured it was a smart move to learn it even if I never do build it up into anything more than a hobby. Atleast it's a hobby that makes a tiny profit.

Debbie, it is snowing like crazy here in Columbus Ohio. I've cancelled 2 appointments we had for today. And I've called the library to apologize for not bringing my DVDs back yesterday and beg them to renew them, since the computer said that they were not renewable this morning. For some reason except for the possiblity of extra fines on my library account, I'm very happy to be snowed in today.

Edited to say: Almost forgot: Debbie, thanks for the tip on the empty parks picture thread!
