In my mailbox is a nice little envelop. It says Disney's Magical Express.
I open it up even before we get inside. It has Mickey on it and resembles a little tour guide book. Then I notice all the info is only for DS

Yikes!
I'd be scared, too! I'd give them another call about mid-month and double check!Ooh - I love sharing Disney vacation plans - makes me feel like I"m taking more trips than I really am!
Kara - Your plans look good. We also have the Fantsmic dinner package for Mama Melrose's when we go in June. Haven't been to that restaurant in a few years, but I always enjoyed it. Also LOVE LeCellier - a must do every year!
One question though - on day 4 - any reason you're going to DHS, THEN Blizzard Beach and then back to DHS at night? I like DHS, but always find that a half day there would suffice. You could skip DHS and head to Blizzard Beach first thing in the am; spend a few hours; shower off at the hotel; then go to DHS for a few hours before dinner. That way you won't be going back & forth too much. Just a thought.
I'll post my intinerary later and you guys can tell me what you think.
Hmmmm, good question! DH suggested that, too, but won't it be a little chilly in the AM at a water park? Early May? You can tell I haven't been a Floridian for long!!!!!!
Don't forget, DMIL and DFIL haven't been to WDW in over 20 years! So I know they will want to do EVERYTHING at DHS. But I guess we could do TL or BB (still not sure which one to do - think we'll let someone ELSE make that call! That way DH and I aren't too "controlling") in the AM, until lunch, then go back to resort and rest, pool, whatever, and head over to DHS around 3 or 4, then head back there either Friday or Saturday to finish up. I like that! Thanx, Cammie! See? I knew there was a reason I joined this little group of crazies!
I'm thinking of adding another ticker, even though I don't have it booked yet - thinking of Christmas at WL. As we were driving to the mouse house on Friday, I told DH my plans for our anniversary in August - back to BWI and Epcot Food and Wine Festival. He basically gave me the patronizing, "we'll see." But on the way home, he was all for it! He's just like me, only he won't admit it except when he is actually there! So then I mentioned a weekend in December at WL. Don't think we could justify the price difference for an entire week at a deluxe, but if we break it up into little weekends, just for fun.....
BWI has special meaning since we honeymooned there, and WL is supposed to be beautiful at Christmas, right? As for the moderates - we just did POR because we got a decent FLorida resident rate (basically we paid for value season, even though we're in peak season right now). But I can't justify the jump between value and mod if I were paying full price?
I really saw no benefits except the room was larger. Now there is a huge difference between the mod and dlx - but the price tag is also a big difference. I just think that the value resorts are just that - a great value! It's a bed and a shower for us, that's pretty much it! Now, if I were going every year for 10+ days, I probably would splurge (if it were feasible $$$) on a deluxe because I'd be spending more time there. What are your thought? Now, if DH would just pull the trigger on the DVC......Oh, now we're debating whether to buy a DVC or a boat! We have the St John's River here which is huge! As much as 5 miles wide at one point! Hmmmm......
