I am so crabby! The kids are sick, we are dealing with a terrible storm (heavy, wet, accumulating snow), my Mom and DH don't feel well now either and I am having a BAD case of cabin fever!!!

I have limited my computer time so I will spare you all of anymore whining!!

Kara – Yoohoo on the refund check, and P&PP sounds like lots of fun. We’ve never been to any of the special parties but hope to some day.

Debbie – Be careful snow blowing! I hope that the kids and YOU get better! No more talk about warm weather! I wish that you could blow some snow my way! I hadn’t even noticed about the POD thread being gone. I’ve only been on ours. I’ve been so overwhelmed by everything lately. It goes in cycles for me. Weatherlady Tammie – Great snow pics! You are so right about the summertime here. I really didn’t choose to live here, but now I am pretty much stuck. My native Texan husband will never leave. Of course now we couldn’t leave the parents, family, new neice – which I haven’t seen in ages!

Cammie – We loved the HM concert movie. I couldn’t sit still in my seat. I think she's a doll. The Jonas Brothers are soooo cute! We saw them at our Texas State Fair. I crack up when they say, “We’re the Jonas Brothers”. I said, “No $#@*!”, and I think I said it a little loud. My oldest elbowed me! Hee, hee!

Tessa – Awesome pics! I bet your girls are getting so excited!!!!

AHHHHHH a R&S coupon!!!!! Wish I could use it...I am loving this Ice Cream line.....oh well. 2 more Gymbo mommies on here? WOOHOO!!! I think I may be in heaven!! LOL....Gymbo and Janie and Jack, I adore their lines. My 9 yo DD is rebelling against me though, she now wants Limited Too (yuck)....

Anyway, got our P&PP tickets today, I am so happy the dates were released. I have been stressing about that a little. Wrote out our mock itinerary and even witih 8 days I don't feel like we have enough time. I am trying to talk DD out of the GF Pirate Cruise. That is 2 hours of touring time dang it!

We're flooding all over in northeast Ohio! We had 3 days of heavy rain. and I think it's going to start snowing tonight..... somebody..... anybody take me away to somewhere warmer.

oh yeah...Gymboree...I keep telling myself that I am not going to buy and then do. I even started buying for next fall when DD is in Kindergarten (my excuse....well..she has to dress nice every single day..plus is was on clearance and it was Gymbucks!) My 12 yo DD wanted out of Gymboree at 9 as well. It's now Justice, Ltd 2, and mostly Hollister, AE, and Abercrombie, but I don't let her wear some of that stuff that's too tight or too low. They say the US population is getting bigger...(and that is true), BUT the clothes are getting waaaayyy smaller.

My candy business...I'm in the thralls of doing my own website (never done that before) and handing out samples to local companies, etc. I had a lot of orders for Christmas. I expect Easter to be busy for me as well. I mostly make Chocolate dipped buttercreams in different flavors and others items as well, but what most people like are the buttercreams. They are pretty yummy. You're right..there's nothing like homemade candy. My mom used to make it and sell it to the locals back where I grew up and when I was little we used to help her. Yeah, Debbie - don't shovel if you're sick. My DH has been shovelling for weeks with a cold - today we find out he has pneumonia I went to bed early, trying to fight off a headache and sore, swollen throat Not tire, though.

YES YES YES...... I don't log on for a day and come back to suggestions like that !!! sounds yummy - love the idea of a candy business. Do you have to jump through the red tape hoops over there for starting a food based business??.

As to the castle pic, yes it is kind of built into a small hill -so that they can have a proper dungeon with a DRAGON'S lair - a bit scary for my 2 last time, the dragon is animatronic, blows fire and smoke and flashes it's red eyes at you.... with all the noises too.... The castle there holds the all year round Christmas shop, the "posh stuff" shop and a lovely Belle exhibit up the very grand stairs, it also has things like a snoring suit of armour and other little hidden bits. It doesn't have a restaurant like Florida, the castle itself is an actual exhibit you can explore.

Hope everyone is starting to feel better - I have a cold coming on , nothing too bad, but enough to give the sniffles.....

Sewer, where are you in NE Ohio? My sis lives in Dover and my parents are in North Canton! My sis had to drive to Cleveland yesterday for a film shoot and she called me on the road to tell me about all the flooding she saw.

Cammie, glad to hear another mom likes HM. I really wanted to get tickets for her concert for me as much as DD! But they sold out in 3 minutes here so we didn't get them. And the movie is not playing anywhere in town.

Quick question - anyone else have a problem with Bratz? DD's bday is the end of March and I'm working on party ideas (probably HSM2) - but one thing I'd really like to do is put "please no Bratz merchandise" on the invitation. But is that tacky? I just absolutely hate them! My daughter likes them, but I think that is partly because of the fact that other girls in her class like them. I just don't think that fishnet hose and miniskirted trampy looking dolls are good for a 7 year old! And believe me, I'm far from a prude when it comes to her toys, but I just can't get around this. My wonderful sis in law (gag!) sent her two dolls and a board game for Christmas because she knew that we didn't like them and wouldn't get any Bratz stuff for Ally (she's 6 now). Now let's think about this. If the parents won't get the stuff, wouldn't you respect their wishes??? So I let Ally play with those dolls in the tub - they look better naked than in their trampy clothes anyway!!!! So am I being unreasonable?

I know how you feel about bratz - me too , however the way I dealt with it was reverse psychology.... buy a bulk lot from ebay(£20 - $40) - bratz dolls , clothes, accessories etc - they are now (just 4 months on ) soooooo over it and into much more appropriate stuff - they tell their friends no bratz please.

Plus I cleaned the stuff up and sold it back on ebay for more than I paid - Result all round!

Sometimes it pays to be laid back, other times I come down like a ton of bricks - I said and meant No to the Bratz (real people in it) film - takes it out of fantasy land.....

You've just got to set your limits and stick to them - if it really bothers you, I would put it right there on the invite, friends will understand.

If you go to Atwood, then you probably roll pretty near my sis - the Dover/New Philadephia area. If you've ever seen the outdoor drama Trumpet in the Land, my sis has played the female lead "Sister Susan" for the past 4 years.

Kara..I do not like Bratz and don’t know what I would do if I was you. I know some people think it’s inappropriate for my DD (5) to watch & like HSM, HM, Z&C, etc. so I just respect their wishes. I wouldn’t put it on the invite though. You will just put all the Mom’s who don’t have a problem with them on the defense. I would just hope for receipts I guess.

Sewer…I found a new drink! It’s called X-rated Fusion. I think that’s what it is called anyway and I have decided it’s going to be my new drink. Granted I hardly drink at all anymore since I got pregnant 6 years ago but I think I am going to start again! I had it at a party and it was YUMMY!

Got an email from Maureen (TinkLvr) for those of you who know or remember her (she’s a pharmacy with 4 kids). She said “hi” and that she is hoping to be back soon to plan a WDW trip.

I am still dying inside the house and surrounded by all the germs . The snow stopped and the kids seem better. I am still holding it off but my Mom and Mark just keep getting worse. Now I have to decide if I should even bother sending DD to school tomorrow. She has already missed 4 out of the 5 days. It is only preschool. The only thing is she is off Monday and Tuesday so it would be like she is off for 11 days including the weekends and days off. Pooh! I could have been on vacation for that long !

Of course, out of the blue, DD is asking to watch our WDW DVDs so now I really want winter to be done!!! I think I am going to put on the live365 too and really torture myself!!!!!
