I had to jump on and share my good news!!! Mom just called and she just heard from the dr's office that it is NOT cancer!!!! I have had no tears about it up until this point, but I think it had just built up. I am so relieved.

Come on Lisa - now it's your turn for some good news. I am still praying for your mom.

Later!...Pam2

It’s eggnog, a Christmas movie and gift wrapping tonight, after a quick trip on the way home to pick up my mom’s charm bracelet w/the Mickey charm on it!! A box I was waiting for with some small things for my mom, MIL and FIL arrived yesterday! I didn’t pay for quick shipping and I was getting a little nervous! (-all part of the fun and excitement I think!)

Tessa – Thanks for the tea explanation! One of our team members is from England, and he always brings his own tea when he visits. He’s never said anything about the milk. I will need to ask him about that! I love tea myself, and he got me started with the tea and milk! It’s better for you than coffee (the antioxidants?), but I do love the coffee, too!

OK, Cammie! Here ya go!

Debbie:    Yeah...I told you!!

Pam2:   Yeah for your mom! I haven't been around much and I didn't know, but I am glad she's in the clear. Cute pics, btw.

Cam...cute pics as well!!

ttessa...didn't know tea was that complicated! I always thought tea was a 4pm with scones, or tea biscuits, light sandwiches. DH and I have really gotten into tea lately. I love earl grey, lady grey, english breakfast, irish breakfast, etc. Probably not the same as over there though. My family used to call lunch "dinner" and dinner "supper." (That is until I moved to Virginia)

Lisa....how is your mom doing?

Pam H.

Hi Gang! Quick fly by..I am so tired these days...
Love the pix!
Glad Pam2 for your Mom.
Hi Everyone!
See you tomorrow I hope.
Debbie

Hiya,

Pam2 - what a relief - and an early Christmas present for you to know it's not cancer.
Loooovee the stitch pic!! My girls are so into Lilo and Stitch on our satellite tv service over here - we will be doing the lilo and stitch ohana breakfast thingy on our visit in April - a late breakfast so hopefully it will be quiet and they will get more time with the characters.

Debbie - so glad your news is good too.

Last day of school today :cool1: cannot wait to get out of the routine!!!!

Was funny on the bus to town yesterday - there was an American girl on there - from Noooo Yawk (I nearly giggled thinking of the old "moyda" mysteries etc) , explaining - well, talking loudly to someone else - but I couldn't help overhearing - as you do....- about seeing the wizard of Oz stage production in London and how these "brits" did a real good American accent in the play but it was "just sooo quaint how they used words like whilst which Americans just would not use..."

And then on tv, someone in a US show was talking about cooties (not sure on spelling) - what on earth are they??? Didn't sound like they were as nice as the word sounds, but don't have a clue.... isn't language strange - I thought we spoke the same one!!!!

Bye for now..
Tessa

Tessa - I thought the Brits were the ones who spoke "proper" English. It's the Americans who butcher the language! Coming from a "Joisey" girl like myself, I'm sometimes shocked by some of the pronunciations that come out of my mouth! I'm thankful I, at least, have not picked up the Boston accent - been living here for 15 yrs. and I'm still pronouncing my "Rs"!:thumbsup2 Worst accent ever!

And, BTW, Tessa, "cooties" is a "cute" term for germs!

Happy Friday all! Our weather has really messed with my plans this past week. Last Thurs. storm forced the cancellation of my hair appt. because the girls were released early from school. Got another 8 inches with that storm. Hairdresser was nice enough to come in on her day off Monday to take me (NEEDED to cover the grey hair for the holidays!). Both girls were home on Tues.-really bad, bad colds. Snowed again on Wed. & Thurs., which made getting to the mall even harder than usual. But I'm officially done with shopping - just have to wrap. Lauren and I are going to the Miley Cyrus/Jonas Bros. concert tonite - I'm actually looking forward to it! Will spend the rest of the weekend baking and hopefully finishing my photopass.

Hope to have time to check in more. Have a great day everybody!
Cammie

Hi Ladies,
How is everyone holding up???? I do LOVE Christmas but life will calm down soon. I have to admit I love the holidays but my favorite holiday (and I do consider it a holiday) is my Disney vacation!!!! It’s like Christmas & Halloween all rolled into one for me!

I have gotten a lot done. I am only stressing now over the actual days when I have to watch the clock and stress over when we are leaving DHs side and if we can go to my Aunt’s in the evening of Christmas day…yada yada…again same thing every year. Maybe one day I will have an anxiety free holiday…..

I booked my DHs surprise trip today.
For my DHs 40th birthday I am sending him to Arizona for Cubs Spring training. He let me be in WDW on mine so I do owe him! I bought the insurance for $79.00 in case something doesn’t work out with it. I think he’s going to die! Now onto the airfare……

I hate wrapping and I will procrastinate until I am at crunch time and then I really hate it because I have to do all of it at once! I think I might actually try and do a few things tonight. We’ll see……

Lovin the pix girls! Maybe I can post more soon. I did order my photopass CD so I will be able to share those soon too!:yay:

Tessa..."cooties" are like saying...I don't know....I thought it would be easier to explain....Let's see...well, we always say "boys have cooties"....maybe it's like saying he's icky...I probably made it worse....sorry.

Tammie...got my samples and am trying the under eye cream. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again..

Lisa..I hope everything is going OK with your MOM!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We started our celebrations on Friday night, so I'm just stopping by to wish my girls Merry Christmas!

Debbie, thanks for the pix! glad you got the samples. Try the whole thing for a couple of days - I know it seems like lots of steps, it did to me, too - but I couldn't believe the results in just a few days! I got rid of deep frown lines, crows feet, etc. (after a few months) That was at the age of 44. Just want you to get the most out of what you are trying...Okay, off my soapbox!

I'll write after Christmas everyone! Thanks for the cards!

Love you all!

Hiya all,

MERRY CHRISTMAS from me too - off to the in laws, slight change of plans, MIL had her second cataract op, so will be us "doing" Christmas at their house instead of them doing it, but we can cope with that.

Have a very happy holiday, back after boxing day. (oops, Do you call it boxing day?? - or St Stephen's day?? or just the day after Christmas day??)

Tessa

Hi!
OUR POWER WENT OUT FOR ALMOST 24 HOURS!!!!
Can you even believe it! We were freezing and worried that it was never going to return.
Thank God it did!!!!
Have a great Christmas everyone!!!!!
Thanks for the wishes being sent this way!

BTW Tammie....After Christmas I will do the whole thing!
BTW Tessa...I call it the day after Christmas AKA Power Shopping!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness - we just saw the American mid-west on our news programme - what a lot of snow!!! It must be bad for us to get it on our UK news shows.
Chicago was mentioned, hope you are ok Debbie and the power stays OK for the biggest meal of the year!!! Have you got the barbecue ready just in case??

Finger's crossed for you guys out there - our weather is so totally NOT festive at all, 10 degrees C, a bit rainy, generally dull - wouldn't mind the snow - but NO POWER OUTAGES!!!

Best Wishes for Christmas.
Tessa

Merry Christmas! Hope you all have a great holiday! We're spending Christmas Eve and day with friends - then off to NJ to stay at my sister's until Saturday!

:santa:

Anyone who is traveling STAY SAFE!!!!!!
Yeah.....we still have power!
Cammie..I take it you dug your way out...has the snow stopped yet?

Debbie - Yes, the snow has finally stopped. Now dealing with all of it melting! Has been in the 40s the past few days - I'm getting ice dams on my roof - left a lovely yellow stain on my kitchen ceiling! At least, it wasn't dripping on the table!
Happy Holidays!:santa:

Mele Kalikimaka everyone !!!!

Sorry I've been MIA lately -- things are still hectic and crazy around here. I really need to work on my time management skills...:rolleyes1

I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a holiday season full of peace, love, and happiness. Stay safe and warm...

Aloha -- keahi

Merry Christmas
Everyone!!! Hope you all have a safe and wonderful Holiday. Thank you for the cards :goodvibes Hugs,

Hi Ladies,
POST FROM :) HAPPY Debbie6221…..

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! The kids were so happy on my end and just so excited!!!!!! The running around wasn’t too bad except my DH worked during the day so he had to do the marathon Christmas Eve on very little sleep. It was a Disney Christmas and I got a gorgeous snow globe from WDW that I LOVE (from DH)!! I think I will take a pic of it for you guys to see. My parents got me the Disney Bradford Exchange charm bracelet! Have you seen it? It is incredible and I love it!
http://www.collectiblestoday.com/ct/product/prdid-103112001.jsp?_Charm+Bracelets/_prod/_14+59/_/_/_/_&endeca=true&abbr=brad It is even better in person. The detail work is incredible!

I hope you guys all had wonderful days too and that everyone is safe and sound. I love you guys and am glad to have you as my pals!

POST FROM :guilty: COMPLETELY BUMMED:sick: Debbie6221…..
OMG I am so sick! I am sure I have told you before that I am a BIG baby when I get sick and it is true. I used to get sick ALL the time because I taught kindergarten but since I have had kids I have been doing great fighting the germs. Well, this one is a doozy! It’s almost like the night of Christmas my body just said, “OK you can get sick now”. I swear I was in a no win situation with the power going out and being in a house all day at 55 degrees and then the running around and stress of the actual holiday not to mention how many sick people you have kissed or hugged over the past week….and to put a cherry on all of this I have a wake tonight and a funeral tomorrow for a dear friend of the family’s mother. Oh well…life goes on……..

I will be back soon I hope. I have to share some Disneyphotopass pix (I got my disc) and I have to still say “Happy New Year” to all of you!
