Hey Cammie look what I found on an older thread that was closed in February.....
Update from Webmaster Alex
Sorry for the delay on this, we had to have a piece of software custom written to cut up the existing long threads.
We have also decided how to handle long threads moving forward:
1. Threads will be closed at 250 pages (3750 posts)
2. Any existing thread over 250 pages will be locked as is.
3. The really long threads that were removed will come back over the next week or so. I have to shut the boards down to cut them up so I will try to do it during "off hours". We are also trying index them so people will be able to reference them.

I hope everyone is enjoying the much faster boards!

:rotfl2: What page are we at now?

:rotfl2: What page are we at now?

Seriously, I'm amazed every day I log on that we haven't been closed yet! Can you imagine - our thread will get to 1000 pages and blow up the DisBoards; after a thorough investigation, the webmasters will see it was that dang Control Freak & Worry Wart thread that was responsible!:lmao:

hi cammie and debbie! just got back from park. taking care of a little dis before bed. I need to unwind with those that understand. We didn't get half of what I wanted to do done today. Guess we will have to see Haunted Mansion and Tom Sawyers' Island next time. Off to Epcot tomorrow. Can you imagine DH actual asked can we cancel some of our ADRs? the nerve. hahahah!

Found out our room can see the wishes and fantasmic fireworks. Bonus!

Now my goal tomorrow is for DH to take pics from a more flattering view

Hi Laura! Thanks for checking in! You are going to need a vacation from your vacation - that what makes it Disney! :lovestruc

Hey Kara and Laura! Your girls look beautiful, and so do their moms! I'm glad you got to meet up - I'm jealous, too!

Hello to all you other Worry Warters! I need to make a couple of calls - check in with you later!

Erin! Your daughters are so cute! I love the BBB costume, and they did great with the photoshop pic! I thought the baby lion was a stuffed animal at first! Good acting! :thumbsup2

Hi. I'm new to this thread but it's exactly what I needed. I'm worrying myself sick over how I'm going to get the grocery supplies we need for the week since we'll be there without a vehicle. Is a taxi to a grocery or wal-mart the answer or should I see about shipping stuff down? HELP!!!!

Welcome! :cheer2: You've found the right place! Sorry I missed your post earlier. I have used gardengrocer.com and I really loved it! I placed an easy on line order, the prices were'nt bad, and they delivered it right on time. I even prepaid the tip, in case I missed the delivery. Are you staying at a DVC resort?

Good morning! Another beauty of day today - nice weather puts me in such a good mood!:cool1: (don't know how people in Seattle survive!)

Erin - I loved the photospass pix - especially the Simba one! Was that from AK? We've never gotten that one before. I'll have to be on the lookout for it - Lion King is one of DD's favorite movies; would love to get Simba sitting in her lap somehow!

I'm hoping to get another live report from WDW! Kara or Laura - are you out there?

Hi Tammie, Debbie, Jillian, Erin, Renee, Pam, Tessa and Tina!

Tessa, sorry your back still hurts. Backs are terrible. Hope you are on the mend soon. AS for your TR .... we are still waiting :grouphug:

Good Morning Cammie! I went to bed too early last night, so I woke up too early. It's 5:50 here - I've been awake for awhile. Oh well, nice to hear the birds singing outside - that means its not snowing! :goodvibes

Good morning buddies!
It's a rainy day here but at least it's not cold. At least it feels like spring. Glad you girls are having some nice weather. I am definitely a better person when the sun is shining. I am not kidding you. My kids are gonna figure it out soon too and plan accordingly by the weather channel!:rotfl2:

Good Morning! That's funny! DGS now wants us to put the weather channel on every morning so he can look at the map and see if he can go outside or not! :3dglasses

Still here everyone just enjoying the few sun rays we're getting. I'm off to work on my mil's yard so we can sell her house this year. :worship: Funny my own yard needs to be mowed and here I am doing her's first. One more step closer to heaven. Well my best friend's dd8 just asked if I could make her a Florence Nightingale dress for a bio-presentation at school. Not something I'm totally into doing, but I guess it could be done. I'm going to Joanne's this weekend to pick up some patterns for myself. Can't afford to go shopping so I'll make my clothes - cheaper.

Just in case no one knew it, but I've quit Cracker Barrel!:yay: It's definitely a good thing for me! I've been there for 5 nights a week for the past 4 years and the last 6 mo with my new manager has been hell for me in the gift shop. The woman should never say she's a manager. So hooray my nights are free! DHs off empiring for the school baseball league so the girls and I are enjoying a night over my mil's house where I'm going to work like a dog. Pray I don't get poison Ivy!

Yes we got it done at AK by the tree and on the first bridge ... the first time i asked the second time the lady just did it ... we also got Stitch coming out of ground at HS ... not sure if they do it in any other position as both pics are DD holding him but always worth asking

Erin! Your daughters are so cute! I love the BBB costume, and they did great with the photoshop pic! I thought the baby lion was a stuffed animal at first! Good acting! :thumbsup2

Hahhahaa thankyou ... believe it or not it is same girl in both i only have 1 daughter
Yes the acting was perfect, i'm gonna be in trouble when as she gets older i'm sure

Kara and Laura i am loving all your pics ... Making me feel like i am there with you hahaha
Glad you're having such a great time

Hi to everyone else :wave2:

Jillian - I think that's a great idea to leave on Thanksgiving! And, by Saturday, the crowds will be leaving; that's when we arrived last year - the saturday after Thanksgiving! Everything will be decorated for xmas - you'll love it!

Your ADRs plans look great! On Day 7 - are you in DTD? I've never been to Wolfgang's place; we usually go to Fulton's and we LOVE it there! This June I'm trying Raglan Road - so I'll let you know what I think. I've also been to Portabello - which is also really, really good. We just never go back because we enjoy Fulton's so much.

Maybe we will try Fultons. DH and I were not impressed with RR. The food was just not that great. I hope it is better for you.

I think the GF tea sounds really nice also; thought about doing that this trip but I know my DD would miss the time in the park. I think we'll save that for when she's a little older. LeCellier is fabulous, IMO. If you're calling at 180 days, you should have no problem getting your time.

This is something my mother and I have wanted to do for a very long time. The others are going on the speed boats for the afternoon.

And......what the heck in happening on day 8? Are you visiting the "dark side?":scared: ;) I've never been to Universal, but have eaten at Bubba Gump's in NYC - it wasn't good at all! Granted this restaurant is right in the middle of Times Square so it's a tourist trap, maybe the one in FL. will be better!

Badookie and I are staying home on this day to sit by the pool. I don't love US at all. I would like to try Spoodles but I think we will just eat CS all day

I'm starting to get my ADRs together for my trip. I'll post them by the end of the week to see what you all think.

Cammie when are you going in NOV.?

Still here everyone just enjoying the few sun rays we're getting. Tina good for you. I am happy that you got to quit. We are working on the lawn this weekend. YUCK my least favorite chore.

Kara and Laura- I wish we could be there with you. Love to BBB pics too cute.

Debbie- HI!!!! How are things going?

Hey Guys! Quick stop by before I start dinner! Boy, is this how things are going to be all summer? Weather gets nice and we all get a life and have no time to Dis!

Debbie - Looking for a little birthday treat for 2nd cousin still? Have you ever seen this - https://secure.uvoxnetworks.com/disney/affhome.html?affno=66
It's cheap and could be cute.

Jillian - We'll be in WDW Nov.8-16th. I'm getting aggravated. Normally we go the week after Thanksgiving (I would have been there the same time as you!) but.......no! I had to suggest that family join us this year and they talked me into going earlier. My only request was that we go at a time when I could still see the Osbourne Lights; now it seems the Nov. park hours are all out of whack and the Lights may be pushed back. Did I say how important this was? Those lights are like THE BEST THING for my older DD - her eyes widen and she really perks up! It's so pretty, bright and festive! I just love seeing her respond to something that way! This is something I really obsess over, but there are not many things in life that get a response like this from her so I really want to make sure she sees it!

Erin - What, no more pix?:confused3 You're not off the hook, yet, Missy!

Tina - Congrats on getting out of the Cracker Barrel! Life's too short - spend your time doing something you enjoy! Good luck with the yard work.

Tessa - Sorry about the back troubles still. Do you guys celebrate Mother's Day over there? If so, I think your family should allow you to put your feet up all weekend and take it easy! And - get back to that trip report! Some us are anxiously waiting!

Hey Tammie! How are your trip plans coming? Or are you just about set?

Where did Renee disappear too? Who's on board for drunk posting this Friday? C'mon girls - who's with me?!

Tina, so glad you got to quit your job. Like Cammie said, life is too short to be miserable at work. I'm so glad to be rid of my job - coming up on a year ago! Have fun with the yard work! :cool1:

Cammie, our DL trip is just about planned, except we need to make the shirts and order our park hoppers. You can't really find much of a discount on tickets for DL, but if you order them online you can get $20 of each of them - X5 = $100 for souveniers! I made PS for Goofy's Kitchen over the weekend. We are going to play the rest of the meals by ear. It seems like there it is easier to eat off-site - there are tons of good places all around the parks. I loved your description of what Osborn does for your DD! That is definately a "not to miss" for you girls!

Erin! You look so young in your Avatar, I thought it was your two girls! The two pics of her look different somehow. Guess I'd better put my glasses on! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I might be up for DP on Friday, I'll have to see what's up with DH! The boards should be busy by then...Kara and Laura will be back! ;)

Debbie, you were askinig about gifts - I was wondering if one of those basket people would do a little pail and shovel with a Mickey in it or something. It looks like the delivery and service charges really blow affordable out of the water!

On your thread, a gal mentioned that she could deliver something for you - do you have time to mail her something?
