Still here....... And now the DIS meet you've all been waiting for.... drumroll please...... Laura and Elizabeth on the left, Kara and Ally on the right. How funny is it that both girls were dressed as Belle, and both were at BBB within an hour of each other this day????
We only had a couple of minutes to chat - the DHs just "didn't get it." But it was still nice! We talked a few times on the phone that day too, trying to set up our meet.
I sooooooo needed y'all the morning of BBB - appt at 8:05. First time EVER I've had a bus problem from any resort. We left POP around 7:10 for MK. Should be a straight shot right? Wrong!!! For some reason we stopped at POLY to let some folks out and they had a wheelchair. The driver could not figure out that whole up/down thing with the bus, so she kept trying, and we kept waiting, and waiting..... I was seriously stressing! Finally DH said "C'mon!" and we hopped out and caught the monorail and made it with 5 minutes to spare! I HATE to be late anywhere, especially something like this. And I called BBB while waiting for the monorail and they said, "just get here and we'll TRY to see if we can get you worked in."
WTH????? It was a bus problem! We didn't oversleep, we didn't take the wrong bus, or anything like that. Let me just say that if would have been late and they did NOT get us in, ole Kara would have gone SC redneck on them! And it would not have been pretty!
I woke up on my own this morning at 5:30 - the rest of the family does not want to be disturbed until after 8:00. They are a bunch of whiney babies the entire trip. MIL is the only one who's been okay. But SIL has stuck her with the kids every chance she gets. DH was fuming pretty much all day yesterday. MGM day and we had all the shows planned out. Well they all went to MK after CM's for breakfast, didn't bother to call us and let us know, so we're waiting and waiting. Turns out they only went so they could ride SM (with MIL and FIL there to watch kids of course) and to ride the race cars for the 6th time!!!! Seriously! They had 5 hours there on Tuesday while we had MIL/FIL with us at Epcot, and they didn't touch Fantasyland - they rode the racecars 5 times and BTMRR 4 times and Pirates twice. So now they expect us to go back with them because they "didn't have enough time." Again, lack of planning on their part is not our problem!
Oh, I have lots of really good, juicy stories, but I'll save them for you!
BTW, dinner at Mama Melrose, VERY good! Dinner at Coral Reef, one of the worst dining experiences I have EVER had, ANYWHERE! Service was horrible at best, food not so great either. This is my second bad meal there, not gonna go for three. Whispering Canyon Cafe, awesome service and atmosphere, food was pretty good too. Tonight is Le Cellier - really looking forward to this one. SIL doesn't want to go to Epcot so we're going without them!!!!
They'll just meet us for dinner.
