Debbie - I know you're a GF veteran - have you ever used the spa there? I'm thinking of booking something for me and DD on the last day of our trip in June. She's a girly-girl and I know she would love any spa services!

I think I'm ditching the weather thingy. It's so off! I know it's probably reading the Boston weather - and I'm 20 miles west - but it's still not accurate. It was in the high 70s today - and that thing never went above 58. Wrong, wrong, wrong!

Mine is pretty right. It was so nice today and no the temp is falling!

Yeah - a little. Child's pedicure is $35; mine would be $55. But it's considered a "spa" pedicure - think it lasts about 45 minutes. I pay $28 at my little old nail shop and that only last 25 minutes top. I'll pay extra to have someone rub my feet that much longer!

I know - but they also do hair braiding - half head or full head. Her friend came back with it in Feb. - very cute. I want to do something that we wouldn't usually do. Thought the spa at GF would be fun; and since we're planning on spending our last day at either MK or Epcot, it would be easy to just jump on the monorail when done.

They also do it by the BW - but I don't think it's the whole head thing - just one braid or "wrap". At the spa they call it the "Island Braid".

Okay, I pay $60 here and there is so much difference from the $28 nail shop here and the $60 at the spa.

I've done that in Mexico. Just make sure to put sunscreen in the "rows" or else you will have a pealy ouchy head. Not fun!!!

Back to the spa thing....I just feel like you can do a spa thing anywhere.....BUT I bet it is VERY nice.
No bopping! I think it would be more cool to like reserve a Cabana or something. I will go get a pic of this cool one at GF. I don't even think it was that bad of a price!

OK, just did this before we moved - I got about $1/piece of each of DD's clothes, and I had her stroller listed for $40 but it didn't sell so I kept it. It is a Graco but I don't know which one - we got it when she was born at the Graco factory outlet in town for around $90. You will not get $100 for your stroller - sorry. People are really tight at yard sales and want DEALS!!! I had a family dicker me down to $20 for 2 car seats!!! I did it cause they were young, and I didn't need them. But the stroller I held on to.

I guess I am just silly. I'd totally pay more. I feel like the buyer and seller should get a deal. DM brought over several really trashed outfits when DD was born that were $3 each. Looked very worn. Some of DS clothes jsut had tags off, that is it! No wear!

Funny, my MIL is also a Nana!!!! I would totally call her out though if she ever did that! That is just soooo wrong!

Thst is awsome I am so happy for you. I will go on WW again minus the meetings they are too hard for me to attend right now. I have to use my sitters for the gym

Honest comment here from someone who did 9 months of meetings, and then 3 months of just weighing in on my own... If you can't attend the meetings, just save your money and weigh in once a week on your own scale. Do your own ticket. Put the money towards a prize once you reach a small goal - like maybe 5%. I think that would be better in MHO.
