Well if all the food talk makes you want to go out Debbie, serves you right! That Mickey with his fork and spoon always leads me to eating something :lmao:

Glad you are here. I thought everyone was missing my smiley show!

So still want to put up a weight ticker? I will do it if you will. :)

I'm in!!!! I'll figure a way to get mine up there - I really need the motivation!

We're not just geeks - we're "Control Freaks and Worry Wart Geeks"!

And we're darn proud of it! (didn't know if I could use the other "d" word!)

Yah! What she said!

Two things I could use your help on...

1. I'm having a yard sale in 2 weeks. It is our subdivisions one. I have a Graco-Duo double stroller. I bought it new for $295 :sad2: and used it once.
2. How much do you ask for kids clothes? Specifically, the GAP, Gymboree stuff that is in almost new condition? $3????

OK, just did this before we moved - I got about $1/piece of each of DD's clothes, and I had her stroller listed for $40 but it didn't sell so I kept it. It is a Graco but I don't know which one - we got it when she was born at the Graco factory outlet in town for around $90. You will not get $100 for your stroller - sorry. People are really tight at yard sales and want DEALS!!! I had a family dicker me down to $20 for 2 car seats!!! I did it cause they were young, and I didn't need them. But the stroller I held on to.

PS - I'm addicted too. There must be cat nip on our computer screens.

Or X-Fusion!!!! :rotfl2:

I would be happy to put up a weight ticker. DH and I are going on diets Monday he just found out his Chol. is 311 :scared1: I want to lose 70 pounds by november. We can do it together if you would like?
Ouch! That will be great if your DH works with you!

Hi Girls,

BTW Who watches Survivor? I was so sad!:scared1:

I missed it this week - say it ain't so!!! I love Ozzie! BTW, I love Hell's Kitchen, too!

So I just ask DS... "would you like to go to the zoo, to see fish, or to the beach" He replies he doesn't want to go to the beach. It seems that NANA has told him that their are sharks that will bite him there and that he will get sand in his eyes and it will really hurt :furious:

Funny, my MIL is also a Nana!!!! I would totally call her out though if she ever did that! That is just soooo wrong!

OK, just got home from my second trip to Home Depot today. I've recovered 2 of the 6 chair cushions in the kitchen, then I ran out of stapes! Also, I hung those drapes in Dd's room and they look awesome! So I bought some plain white sheers for the Disney room and had to run back out to get a drapery rod for that too.

Now I'm sitting here drinking a Bacardi Mojito while Dd plays with the friend I just don't like. Her parents are buying a new car and called to see if I could watch their little brat, er, daughter, and like a sucker I said yes.

But now I've lost my motivation to hang the curtains in the Disney room or to finish recovering the chairs. Aarrgghh!!!

Cammie, so glad the girls got in safely. Now you can relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Jillian, hang in there girl! And remember that it gets a lot easier as they get older. OK, maybe not easier, but it does lighten up a lot. The strain becomes more emotional and less physical. Communicate with DH for sure though! He probably doesn't even know how you're feeling. And someone mentioned quality over quantity and I totally agree. When I worked fulltime I sometimes think I was a "better" mom because the time we spent was definitely quality time. Now that I'm home with her (even though I'm working) I spend more time yelling at her to clean her room, or pick up her toys, maybe that's just her age? I don't know....

Okay, I got mine up. I wasn't sure if I should do the weight since I joined WW or total weight loss. I figured I would just put the latest weight joining WW, but that doesn't take into account the 33 I lost on my own too! The hardest part is getting started. I'm not going to lie, next week will be tough, but you can do it! :yay: Yay for you for starting!!!!!

Thst is awsome I am so happy for you. I will go on WW again minus the meetings they are too hard for me to attend right now. I have to use my sitters for the gym

Debbie - PUT THE SMILEYS DOWN!!!!

(You're out of control, woman!)

I know! I have problems!

Hi Kara! How are you feeling???
Drinking is a good sign you are on the mend! Are we drunk posting again tonight/

Ok - that made me giggle! I didn't even know that was a word!

And....I missed the whole Nana reference. That's what all the grandkids call MY MOM! Note to self: Do not have your grandchildren call you Nana!

Lovin your new siggie! I don't think you and Renee need to lose as much weight as you guys say! Come on! Don't be so hard on yourselves!

You could twist my arm to do some drunk posting tonight - although I have so much on Tivo I want to watch. And -- get this. I had my high-def cable hooked up last week. I only paid for HBO and Starz; but I'm getting Cinemax and Showtime too! I don't know if it's free for a little while because I'm a new customer or what, but I'm not saying anything!:rolleyes1

Oh, and I got a text from my DD; she just types: "Dad is doing it wrong!" I can only imagine -evidently there were some issues boarding and during the flight - he was stressing. All arrived safely though!

My Mom is Grandma. DD called her Hamma when she was much younger and DS calls her NuNo! Where the hell did he get NuNo!

That is so funny! See I am so crazy I would be doing the text thing NON STOP to her if I was you!

Too bad you didn't do Big Brother this time. I love watching the Big Brother After Dark when there are no kids around. It's on 3 hours a night on SHOWTIME!

Oh let me tell you - we do! Although she complains I'm too slow - she flies! Totally bugs my ex and his wife that we text so much; my DD will be sitting there with them watching TV and will just start texting me. I really need to get a cell phone that switches to a keyboard - would be so much easier for us old folks!

Looks like right now it's just you and me chatting!
