Laura, I've been meaning to ask. I want to have Tulips. When do I plant the bulbs and what do I need to do? We bought our house 4 years ago. There are some planted in an area that gets am sun only. They grow but never bloom.

Bulbs should be planted in the fall. They go dorment over winter. They may not be blooming becaue the soil is missing something. Try miracle grow once a week while they are coming up. Then in the fall mix some bloodmeal in the soil when you plant the new ones. Sun may be an issue too. The do like a warm sun, after noon filtered sun is best.

Hi! NightOwl here...just back from a party - fun group - we met at a Mexican Restaurant - everyone was drinking margaritas, except me - I am having my glass of wine now. Drunk posting by myself They loved the De-tox Spa products!

The cruise....best thing we've ever done - Disney of course! The ship is so big that it feels like a little city, and there is always something to do! I thought DH would be bored, cuz he needs to be doing something or watching sports all of the time...he even thinks its the best! I'm trying to talk him in to adding a 3 day to our trip in March - so far, he doesn't want to be gone that long

I'm going to read back and catch up now - everyone else is sleeping! Have a happy Saturday - we are putting up a swing set/fort for DGS tomorrow - he's so excited!!!

J ust finished skimming thru the many pages that you all burned thru last night! Enquiring minds want to know - is anyone hung over this AM???

A trip to Chicago? I am so there! I have family north of Chicago, and I could do a combo trip! Let’s do it!! We could have a big slumber party in the hotel room, and it would be so much fun!!

I slept until 6! Doggies usually wake me up between 5-5:30, but we were up later than usual last night, so they slept in! Did doggy routine of one outside/feed one, then other outside/feed other. They are spaz! And make me more crazy than DH and DDs! JK.

We ended up not going to the Y last night. I got to leave work early, was on my way home, talked to DH and found he was also on his way home, and I got a call from after school care that DD was running a fever. I was closer to the school, so I went to get her and get her home. We gave her med, let her rest on the couch, and I went to get my nails done when DH got home. I brought home dinner. Sick DD decided that she was feeling better and wanted to go to the birthday party, which is only 2 doors down. They did go carting and putt putt first. I cleared it w/my friend/the mom that she was OK w/DD having a fever. I didn’t want to get the other kids sick. She said that they catch more stuff at school. That’s how I feel, but I felt guilty. I also felt guilty that yesterday AM, DD was complaining that she didn’t feel well, I took her temp and she didn’t have one, and told her that if she stayed home, she couldn’t go to the party. I emailed her teacher, telling her to call me if anything was up and I would come to get her. My phone call to get her from the party last night ended up actually an invitation to visit, and DD ended up spending the night. I am just hoping that she didn’t have a fever during the night or this AM and no one know s about it! I am also hoping that she is not sick!

I finally watched the Memory Keeper’s Daughter last night while DH went down to his friend’s house to watch hockey, and DD14 had friends over. I need to finish watching it this AM, but I thought it was good! I got the book for Christmas, but haven’t started it yet.

I have to grocery shop!!! Yucko. (where's the barf smiley?) Again today, we plan on going to the Y (they are really trying to keep me motivated!) and get some work done in our front flower beds. I think it’s supposed to be nice.

I have decided that I am skipping church tomorrow to visit at Mom’s. She’s keeping my niece, and my sister is getting home from her cruise tonight, and she’ll spend the night there. We’ve been trying to go to church as often as possible and go in spurts. It’s terrible, but since I work full time, I am so selfish with my time. We have to leave the house at 9:30 and don’t get home until 12:15, and that’s a big chunk of the weekend, every weekend. I’m probably throwing a big one out there for debate, but I feel that I will be allowed into heaven if I don’t go to church. We do enjoy it and love our church friends and Sunday school class, but we also do it for the kids. There is a lot that I don’t agree on about organized religion.

Hiya everyone -

It is soooooooo cold here!!!!! Under 50F brrrrrr - not fair , I want to be back over there..... Still living in Florida time zone i think - not waking till gone 10 am , not wanting food at the right time, hopefully things will get sorted soon....

Car battery has gone flat whilst we were away, got a charger, but we'll have to hope for the best.... still, if it means no family visits for a while mmmmmmmmm..... DD7 has gone off to a friends party slightly dazed with jet lag, thankfully I had a few favours in hand so she's got a lift there and back.

Am collecting together the photos and memories for the trip report, but still a bit dazed myself, so not going to do anything till the start of next week when the kids are back at school (and DH back at work... me too, but only an hour at lunchtime...).

Congrats on the house Kara. Will catch up with the rest later too......

I'm soooooooooo cold........ there's noooooo sun and the sky is dull and definitely smaller than over there!!!! Post trip blues have set in quickly!

Good morning!

I feel good today - slept until 9am! (if I keep doing that, maybe I won't be missing the girls too much!)

It's a beautiful day today - I'll be doing much work around the house after I get back from the gym. Still need to clean my screens and get them back in the windows. I love the smell of spring air in my house!

Pam - Good job with the pictures! Yeah! Your girls are so cute (and your teeth are fine!) Hope DD is feeling ok this morning. I have the Memory Keeper's Daughter on Tivo - it a must-watch for me this weekend. I read the book about two years ago when it first came out - sooo good. Hits a little close to home for me - but I really enjoyed it. I hope the movie stays true to it!

My friends keep trying to talk me into the Disney cruise; thinking I may wait until the girls are older. Right now, they really enjoying going to the parks - I think they would miss that aspect too much. I know they offer land/sea packages but, man, they eat up alot of vacation points! I did a 5-day cruise for the first part of my honeymoon - I enjoyed it the first three days; day 4 was our only full day at sea and it kind of freaked me out! It was a little un-nerving to look out and be surrounded by water with no land in site!
Now that I'm a mother and full-blown worry-wart, don't know how I would deal with it!

Well, I'm off to the gym! I'm officially disgusted with the amount of flesh that hangs over the top of my pants(sorry for the visual) and I'm determined to do something about it! Have a good day all!
