The trip went well. Really enjoyed the weather. Sat was hot - insainely so for my taste. We were hunting down the little mister areas and downing water like no tomorrow. We rode Buzz (DS looked scared out of his mind), TTA (which DS hated), Laugh Floor (DS didn't like this), and walked around a bit before dinner at CP, back to our room for a swim, and turned in.
Sunday was nice. Got up early for bfast at Tusker. They told us to be there 1 hour prior. Got to the bus at 7:07. By 7:20 still no bus, so I get nervous that it only runs on the hour and we missed it. I go to the taxi and hire him to get us there. We got there about 7:25 I guess - he flew! The park had no entry.

So he took us to AKL and I paid him the $15 plus a $5 tip. We caught the bus from there to AK. The park doesn't open for anyone until shortly after 7:30, and even with ADRs they don't let you in the park until 8:05. Our breakfast was great. The computers had problems so we ended up not getting out of there until 9:10. I was sad - wanted to get to the Safari before everyone else. The waitress gave us a priority ticket to use for two rides, so we got on Safari with no wait in front of the masses. Then we got to get on TS (loved it) with no wait too. That was nice. We did FOTLK too (DS got asked to be in it, but said no. DS hid behind my back for the last 10 min). We visited Lilo and Stitch. Played games in Dinoland (DS LOVED it). The rain sat in. I have Weather Channel on my cell, so I looked at the radar and saw it would be a while. We rode TS in the rain and DS decided he wanted out of the rain so we left. Our ponchos worked well, as did the stroller rain cover. Took a nap, then went to CM for dinner. Caught Wishes on the monorail. Bussed back to AS.
Mon - CP before the park opened. RD at Castle - COOL. Ran to Dumbo (DS loved it)- first on! Rode WtP (didn't like it - scary), saw Phillharmagic (didn't like it), rode Barnstormer (didn't like it), Teacups several times (DS

), Jungle Cuise (loved), Magic Carpets (loved), Woody's Cowboy Roundup (loved - but got picked and was too shy to go, so we did this twice and was STILL too shy the second time, and then cried when he couldn't join in after they picked the other kids

). Rode the boat over to WCC. Dinner there was nice. Probably one of the best kid meals. I'm not much for that theme, but I really liked the hotel. Nice. Boat back to MK, DS wanted to go back to the room.
Yesterday was really Chilly. We went to DHS and honestly that is the only park I really didn't care for. The layout was all off. I think it was a lack of prep on my part because I thought we wouldn't go. Last minute thing. We had seen all of MK, so I decided since it was cool to go there. It was hard to follow the map there. Hard to find the bathrooms. DS loved PH disney, We did the Animation one to see the Wall-E exibit. I did this as a suprise for DS and he was so happy

. when we got in line for Stitch (DS obsession this trip) they cut it off the person and said no more stitch in that park that day.

The CM felt bad for me, but it wasn't like it was his fault. DS was crying but I tried to suggest we go see Mater - he was okay with that, but still very sad. I hated to end the trip like that. We got back to the Power Rangers - whom he wanted to visit but they had cut their lines off, got into the Mater line. That was cool. Went to the Buzz line and it was insaine. We only had one hour until we had to go, so I took him up to let him see him (without meeting him) and he really wanted to see him but I told him we'd go to Pizza Planet. DS loved it there. We played games. HE played Tekken 5 and got to the 5th level -

My word. He did like a Sea-do ride that he loved. Then we left the park. Got on ME and came home. He fell asleep in the airport, so I put him on the plane asleep. He woke up at takeoff screaming his head off that he didn't want to be on the plane and kicking his feet - and thus kicking the poor dear lady in front of him. He was half asleep. After about 15 minutes of that and me trying to calm him down, the man sitting next to me acting pissy (I really wanted to turn to him and say, "Do you think I enjoy this?") and every mom offering everything they could think of to help, he fell back asleep and slept until we landed and woke up in a really good mood.
He did great on the trip. We didn't need the leash but I bought him the lanyard and clipped the ID tag and a stitch thing to the bottom. He stayed with me really well. He missed his Daddy terribly. That was the negative. All Day Sun & Mon he wanted to come home. We got home and he wants us all to go back today.

Most of the rides he thought were scary. He did alright on them, I could just tell by his face he was scared. Then off them he said he didn't want to do them again, that they were scary. I hated, and he did too, that it really was too cool and windy for the pool. That was the only downside to our trip.
I thought while they are napping, I'd drop a few hints - because I know I will soon forget them!
Kara - thought of you every time I passed the DVC booth, or ate at the buffet! For your info, just gained 0.4 lbs this trip -

Didn't catch the Block Party at DHS. DS wanted to stay at MK for the 3 pm parade, and he LOVED IT! We were ready to see Spectro, but he asked to go back to the room, so we left.
Laura- McLaren, McLaren, McLaren. TGM, TGM, TGM. Passporter maps rather than park maps - except DHS, there are some changes to that one. Char breakfasts before the park opens rather than the park opening. CP dinner (takes about an hour) was better than CM dinner (takes about 2 hours), TH bfast WAY better than CP bfast, but would do it again for early entry. The beds will scoot around, so you can push one up against the wall for DD. Don't forget sunscreen on your part of your hair - or wear a hat. Take a washcloth from the hotel in a zippie. Have it wet. You will use it for the oddest things. I actually removed an unwanted face painting in a snap with it. Are you driving or doing the bus system? Playhouse Disney was good. Make sure you do one of two things. Get there super early and get a seat on the floor in either the far left or far right almost against the wall so DD can stand up and not be obstructing anyone's view or just get there sort of late to sit in the back and let her stand. We got the first row and it was so hard to see anything for me - and you watch the show sitting on the floor. Even putting him in my lap didn't help much. The bubbles didn't fall that close to us. But he loved the show. Whatever you decide to do about the stroller, go get you some yellow ribbon. Two pieces - maybe about 3/4 yard each and tie them onto each side of your stroller. You will be able to find it - piece of cake. One lady did that and it was genious. I took a blue hanky, but there is so much blue and black there it blended in.

Also, at
walmart in the camping section they will have a glow stick that is battery powered, maybe $4. It can either glow solid, flash, or turn off. Get one and put it on your stroller (rented or not) and you will be able to find it at night - piece of cake.
Debbie - thought of you when we got the monorail tour of the deluxe resorts during Wishes one night. Beautiful at night! You will enjoy your stay.
