i'm here today. dd 17 mos is projectile vomitting and the ceiling in the basement bathroom collapsed last night. Like 3 in the am, Yes I said the ceiling came down. It is exactly what you want to have happen in the middle of clean vomit. I was spitting tacks at DH.

I told him OVER a year ago that the were water spots on the ceiling and I thought something was leaking. He never got around to it. My hunch is that the seal around the toilet wore out. I am soooo hoping that it was clean water It's not the end of the world but not what I wanted to do today. I'm cleaning drywall up and sopping up water. He said he would get to it tonight. Our house isn't that old only 25 yrs but didn't expect this one. It came down just as DD fell asleep. She didn't sleep all night. I'm stealing sometime with her screaming in the background.

Kara glad to see that you came back.

Debbie those ADR's sound amazing. Hopefully someday I will get my family to come with. When I win the lotto.

Off to enjoy the frozen H*** that is headed our way. Glad I only took out the bikes and didn't put away the shovels.

Kara, my dear cat Walter went to his reward about 6 years ago. It was his time, I stayed with him as he was my first baby. I had just had the human baby from hell, ds now 6, was an absolute wreck, husband traveling, blah, blah, blah...but Disney pulled us through Go watch the Lion King, great for explaining the whole circle of life thing. Also, love the Rainbow Bridge poem 'cause I really believe that there are animals in heaven.

It's absolutely gorgeous here today - 70 and sunny! Me very happy today! But such a tease! It will go back down to the 40s-50s this weekend with torrential rain! And it's supposed to stay that way all through next week! YUCK!

Cammie - love the new tickers!!! So many choices. I originally had a martini glass as my slider for the big family trip with the in-laws, since that's what I'll need each day! Then I thought I outta take it down - we're a family show! For some reason my third ticker won't show up though???

No, they are through National and they are huge! Some people are saying they are for TAs only and others are saying they had no trouble....

Love them all, BTW! I saw the martini glass slider and wanted it also. Didn't think I'd be sending the right message with my ticker labeled "Mom and her girls at the World" and having it as my slider! But, it was so hard to choose - you're lucky you have so many trips to count down to!

Not sure if I should consider changing our anniversary trip from October to Sept to take advantage of free dining. We've never been to F&W so that would be great, but then again, FREE is always good, too! I'm pricing it both ways.

I'm looking at only 3 nights, so I won't get "free" dining at least I don't think so.... but it is heavily discounted. OK, I need to play some more to see exactly what's what with this.....

Debbie how do you set up IM through Disboards? I'd love to IM you about this free dining thing!!!! I just ran quotes through disney's website. Get this, 9/17-9/20 at Yacht Club is 1627.40 with free dining. 10/16-10/20 is 1779.32 with NO free dining!!!! No brainer? I think so!!!!!

OK, I ran rates through different resorts, even though I wanted BWI since that's where we honeymooned, thought it might be nice to try somewhere different. GF is BOOKED during that last weekend of free dining! So I have Yacht Club, AKL, CBR, or ASMu. Obvious price differences...... but if we go during free dining, it is actually cheaper than going the following month!!!

Now Debbie, when are you going to be there???

Debbie I'm so glad you posted those transportation threads. There was one about Air Tran changing departure times. Our new departure time on the 12th is 10:30 am it was 1:30 pm. Really bums me out, we were hoping to get a little more time in FL on that Monday

Yeah, I'm still posting. I'm debating calling and making my reservation right now!!!!!! But I think DH would kill me! It's a $200 deposit now, right? If DH flips out, can I get that back? Cause I'm ready to start making ADR!!!! I know we both really wanna head back to Flying Fish - our all time favorite dining experience ANYWHERE (okay, second only to Bistro Savannah, in Savannah, GA). But that would be our only out of pocket expense once we got there. I'm gettin' antsy!!!!

Yeah it really does stink. The next flight out of Fort Lauderdale is a 3:30 pm which would be fantasic but it doesn't put us back into MPLS until Midnight. Beth has school the next day. She'll need a little time to get back in the swing of things.

Free dining sounds great. We did F&W festival when we were there on our honeymoon. Nothing like watching illuminations drunk. Very odd looking at those pictures. One thing to think about is those little glasses of wine weren't cheap. so if you save $$ on free dining do it. It's not like you won't be able to use that deposit toward another trip or maybe not if you get the DVC.

Okay I think I need to take a nap. I'm typing things backwards.

OK, I've got it narrowed down to Yacht Club or AKL. Any thoughts? And arriving on Wednesday late afternoon and leaving on Saturday late afternoon/early evening. So I'm only gonna do a 3 day hopper pass instead of 4 since we're getting in late on Wednesday. Maybe that night we'll do our Flying Fish dinner. Yummmmmmmy!!!!

Then, if we stay at AKL, I want to maybe try Boma or Yak & Yeti (any thoughts on these). I guess we could try Yak & Yeti no matter where we stay since it's in the park.

Then at Epcot I want to try either Chefs de France or Tutto Italia. Also, maybe eat at Biergarten this trip. My goal is to eat at every TS in Disney so I can add that beautiful invitation to my decor! We've already done Coral Reef, San Angel Inn, Marrakesh, Akershus, Le Cellier, Garden Grill.

DD - feeling better
DS - feeling better, Dr. said no puss on the eardrum, which sounds good to me DS sliced his foot open standing on a pair of sunglasses (which of course bit the dust). Not horrible, but brought blood, so I'm taking the stroller for sure now.
Me - feeling WORSE. More head pressure, head ache on one side, feels like a big baseball shoved up in my nasal cavity. SO... I'm taking antibotics now. The down side is it is Augmintin, don't know if you have used that one twice a day, but it kills my taste buds and really wipes me out. BUT at least my head may be a little better by Sat - but perhaps no worse, which would be great. On a plus side, my foot feels MUCH better so that is great! Almost 100%

Laura, man, try not to have such a fun night next time. When it rains it pours huh? I hope DD & you get some rest today. Do you think it was viral or something she ate? Hopefully all your walls & floors will stay put for your tonight.

Kara - Thought of you so much. I even said a prayer that maybe our little angel could take care of Bella her first night and be her friend to help her. At least she isn't in pain anymore - and you did something that hurt you very much to make her feel much better. Just remember that. DS was 2 1/2 and still talks about it. It is amazing how much they can remember. I hope that DD feels better soon, but it may take a while.

Cammie - Okay, thanks to you and your DDs in the matching outfits, I unpacked and tried to make our outfits go together more. They just look so stinking cute in those matching shirts. I can at least get us in the same color I think - well, most of the time.

We're under the two day mark now. Getting excited. Getting worried about leaving DD. Mostly packed Just putting it all on coast. I will try to check in later. We are expecting dangerous storms with tornados, so I might have to disconnect the computer from the wall again. I'm sure I will check in tomorrow at some point though.
