Renee - Be careful with those storms!!! I was reading up on them and they can get really ugly really fast!

Why do I keep getting bopped???? Besides, you need to be nice to me - I'm in a very fragile state right now! OK, I'll try not to use that one anymore. I just keep going on these crying jags that last for 10 minutes and I can't stop!!!!!

But DD should be home any minute so I have to be strong now. I still haven't vacuumed or mopped today and that was all I wanted to do! Guess I shouldn't have ridden up to the pool for lunch, huh? I know, I know, I'm getting bopped again!

Okay, I'm sure this is a duh thing, but I've been saving a spa pedi & massage gift cert for a while. Think it would be nice to use once I come back from Disney?

You will soooo need it! Throw in a massage from lugging all DS's stuff around, and a facial to refresh from the Florida sun and humidity, and you'll be all set!

AND your new pedi will look nice on your newly tanned toes!

I scheduled the massage & pedi. Thought maybe I should change to facial and massage. I don't know. I just got a nice pedi a week two weeks ago and still looks lovely. Sometimes the facial is nicer to me than the pedi, but then again my face may still be a little lobstery.

How many times does everyone change at Disney? Keep in mind I also function as a napkin according to DS. I was thinking of taking 5 outfits - and three extra pairs of jeans since it will be cooler.

Holy Crap! I just booked it!!!!! DH is gonna flip when I tell him! Guess where we're staying??? Debbie, I'll see you there!!!!

Renee - I guess it depends on when/if you go back to your room during the day. If so, then you may want to change. I think that in 7 days I only changed one time the last time we went. And it just so happens that was the hottest day of our stay, and after the pool, it just made sense to put on clean clothes after a shower. But you will not have heat as an issue while you're there, so if it were me..... I would pack one cool weather and one warm weather outfit for each day. That should cover you for 4 days (right?). Then throw in an extra sweatshirt and t-shirt and close your suitcase!!!!!

Sounds like a no brainer too. Just tell them it's your anniversary! Bad thing is people are already booking ADRs for that time.

And in today's episode of "As Renee's World Turns Upside-down" ...

DD - feeling better
DS - feeling better, Dr. said no puss on the eardrum, which sounds good to me DS sliced his foot open standing on a pair of sunglasses (which of course bit the dust). Not horrible, but brought blood, so I'm taking the stroller for sure now.
Me - feeling WORSE. More head pressure, head ache on one side, feels like a big baseball shoved up in my nasal cavity. SO... I'm taking antibotics now. The down side is it is Augmintin, don't know if you have used that one twice a day, but it kills my taste buds and really wipes me out. BUT at least my head may be a little better by Sat - but perhaps no worse, which would be great. On a plus side, my foot feels MUCH better so that is great! Almost 100%
We're under the two day mark now. Getting excited. Getting worried about leaving DD. Mostly packed Just putting it all on coast. I will try to check in later. We are expecting dangerous storms with tornados, so I might have to disconnect the computer from the wall again. I'm sure I will check in tomorrow at some point though.

PS - don't forget Gymbucks start today...

Renee....I am sorry about your woas. I feel for ya sista! At least you will be in the most magical place on earth in a couple days!

Yikes! Is this for your trip in Sept? I still say if you can get something under $300 - it's a good deal. With oil prices rising, I don't think you're going to see airlines dropping prices too dramatically.

So jealous you and Kara will get to have a Dis meet!

Debbie - can you fly southwest? If you CAN, you can book the flight, and then go under travel tools. Anytime you see the fare cheaper via Ding or email special and change the flight to that price. It holds the difference in an account for you to use within 1 year. I did that on a $400 flight for DH. I have seen 3 lower fares, each time I adjust it and we have $200 worth credit to use in the future. It doesn't have to be for him either - you can give it to anyone. Just FYI.

I do believe that it is Kara's plan to meet all of us at WDW at one time or another. That is why she will have to have the DVC.

The snow has stopped, for now. We only got a light coating. There is more on the way. DH fixed to toilet but said the bathroom may have to wait until we get back. AGGHHH I hate leaving a project open when I am on vacation. although he does have a point it needs to dry out before we re-sheetrock.

Actually, the Yankees are in town to play the Red Sox; my girls & I are huge Yankee fans - all of our friends are, of course, Red Sox (or as I call them - Red Sux) fans. We'll be gathering at a friend's house for happy hour and the game. Sorry to miss the fun here!
