:dance3: I just found out that the "new" condo is across the street from our favorite family pub, and next door to a great breakfast spot - so we can walk to it!  I'm a happy girl! AND they have ocean front condos still left!

DH is being a butt about talking dates with me at work. I told him we nail it down tonight! I want that baby booked by the early am!

Sorry that DH's trip got pushed. I know what you mean. Last beach trip, I got to pack and it was HEAVEN. No griping, I knew were everything was, checked it off my list as it went in so I knew it was packed. LOVED IT. DH is the worst about leaving a bag behind. The beach trip isn't all that much stuff though. I genereally wash clothes each day, so that helps!

Just ran to Beall's to pick up a couple more pairs of shorts - I just love the way that Dockers "favorite fit" shorts run. So comfy but still look tailored. Then I got a pair that I thought were black, but now I think they're blue - I'm going color blind I think!

I just updated my weight loss ticker to reflect what the JC scale shows - it is nearly 4 lbs higher than my home scale!!!! But since I go every week, at least it will reflect the same scale....

Poor DH, he's having a really tough time at work. First, he works with a bunch of morons, then the economy is so sucky right now and they (whoever "they" really are!) say that FL and CA are the two states hardest hit. He's in the car business and that is one of the first areas hit by a slow economy. He just seems really down - this trip is going to come at a really good time I think.

Hi all sorry is just a flying visit and i promise next time i will return with photos, has been soo busy since we've been home, DD was straight back to school on Monday then i had to get her prepared for a school trip away till Friday and now she's gone start thinking about my holiday to France in 2 weeks which includes Disneyland Paris :woohoo:

Anyway hope you're all good
Catch up soon
xxxxxxxx

Yea!!! Erin is back and promises photos soon! Glad you're back!

Laura - okay, now if I meet up with you, you must promise in front of everyone on this thread that you are not a crazy stalker!!!!! :rotfl2:

I hereby promise to Kara, et all, that I, Laura, am as crazy as crazy can be. How 'bout that?:rotfl2: Actually I am pretty normal. :goodvibes

DH thinks I am certifiable that I would try to meet someone that I have been posting with. If he only knew how many of us there are. He saw my lime green mickey the other day. :rolleyes1

Love the weather update. My packing will be right on target. Now only if DH would see it that way.

DD is not sick. She has allergies docs figure. I'm really happy that the FDA pulled all Sudafed for kids. It makes treating these little ones so easy. Doc recommended cutting the benedryl dose in half for her. I' m hoping that will help. Poor kid.

Laura, is it your youngest DD with allergies? When my DD was diagnosed with allergies, her dr put her on Zyrtec - said okay for kids young as 1 yr. It worked great! :thumbsup2

Laura, I had really good luck with Benadryl D for DS. He was on prescription Zyrtec since 2. That always seemed to lead to sinus problems. The only draw back is the sleepiness. DS doesn't know how to blow his nose, and seems to not quite get it :confused3 so I need a "D" to clear things up. As for the sudafed, I'm pretty sure you can still buy that at the pharmacy counter. You just have to show your ID. I bought some right before our trip. I used the sudafed with Zyrtec and that works really good too.

I just so want to be anywhere but here today. What is wrong with me. THere are thousands of things to do, yet I do nothing.

I was talking to DSIL. They are coming down the yard sale weekend. It was 5 days, and now they are thinking just that Sat & Sun. So now I'm wondering if I should put off the yardsale. DSIL is so nice, I'd really like to spend as much time as I could with her. I'd also thought about maybe going ahead and just cutting the sale off at 11 or so.

DS changed his mind on the party. Instead of Tigger and Pooh Super Sluth theme, he now wants to go back to Lightning McQueen. I don't really mind since that has been a favorite for the past year. I'm just a little stumped with fun activities. I think all we are going to have over is my nephew - so it will be the two of them. I'd rather not expose his school friends to our family - they actually think I'm normal. :lmao: I am going to take pizza and cupcakes to school and let him have a "party" there with his friends.

Renee - check out this thread - it has the mint holders (like little matchbooks and you fold and staple a mint or lifesaver in it) and the Hershey's nuggets characters.... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1787936&page=9

She's got the cars characters in both!
Kara - THANKS! I will so do that! I thought about setting up a course for them to run around outside and have races too. If the weather hold up I have a cute little kiddie pool too. One of those with all the activities that takes 10 hours to blow up! :lmao:

No I rememberd them Martha! They are just too cute. I tell you that I think you are going to really enjoy passing them out, I don't care what DH says. Maybe you should make a couple with chewable Benadryl or something for DMIL. :lmao: Just kidding!!!

I meant to tell everyone, I think on DIS there was a suggestion to take small bottles of bubbles to the park to use while waiting in line. I did that. I think it is a bad idea. It DID entertain DS and a lot of other kids, but a lot of adults who would have bubbles float over to them got quite pissy. With DS being 4, he spilt them a lot and I was really concerned that someone was going to step in that puddle and slip. Just MHO.

Kara, every time I skim names, I always misread yours. For some reason, this is where my mind always goes. :lmao: :lmao:
