I am doing it because I have heard that people want them all the way up to age 8 even so they don't have to listen to the whining!
I do two so we aren't so wide and in case we split up.
:thumbsup2 good point. I now officially have an excuse to get a McLaren. Southwest broke the stroller I took. It no longer remains folded. They broke the clip. IT WAS LOADS OF FUN ON THE BUSES!

We all love what we love based on our family dynamics as well. With the little ones you should give POLYa try!
AND YOU BETTER UPGRADE TO MK VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I irritate Kara away????????

okay, time to be a responsible adult and get my kids some dinner going. Catch you all later - and thanks for the decision making help.

No one still answered a good question - when do they allow you to book for next year?

Have a good one everyone!

I don't really know...
Did I irritate Cammie away too?:confused3

I have been known to be irritating!

No, I'm here.

Question though - why don't you guys rent strollers? I know they just raised the price so it may be a little ridiculous now; but I always rented when my DD was younger.

(And, Debbie - I'm going to overwhelm you with my BW pix someday!;) )

I'm outta here! Have plans to go out with my neighbor tonite!

Will check back in with whoever is here later!

Renee I believe I have finally made up my mind about strollers. I am going to rent. I am preping DD that we will be walking and that we can get one if we need one but it will be easier if we don't have one. We'll see. With 2 I would so have stroller and I can see having one to bring on the bus with you but if you are staying so close you may not need to bring your own. As far as them releasing dates on the web site, my hunch is they will be released in August. Don't ask me why but that's just my guess

I will get you guys with the gorgeous view that POP provides. I know you all will be jealous of the great views.:rotfl: I am looking at Debbie's pix and wanting to upgrade. I know I can't but a girl can dream. Maybe if all we eat is macaroni for the next 3 yrs we can swing a week at the GF. :rotfl2: I'm just teasing. I will have to find a way to get the code attached to my name......

We've decided to suck it up and hit the tanning booth. I am very pale and I have a strong Scot-Irish background. (that is a good thing when it comes to drinking though :goodvibes)Yes I am the lovely color of alabaster in winter although I do toast nicely in summer. I figure I don't want to be a tomato when I am in FL. DH is even going too.

Well, I took mine since I knew that DS would probably want to be carried after a long day. I was right about that. Even to get him to stand up for me to fold the stroller to get us on the bus was a big fuss with him. He weighs almost 50 lbs too, so I didn't care to be hauling him around. There were at least three times to where we had to RUN to catch the bus and it was great to have him in the stroller. Even walking from the hotel to the bus stop. We walked one time and I sware it took 3 times as long. So I guess the answer for me is to save time. :confused3 DD is a completely different story. She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth and I would have a stroke from all the worry of her licking those Disney strollers. Plus the whole reclining issue too. I don't know how I will feel at 2 1/2 with her. But I imagine that it will still come in handy for the airport, etc, so we will probably bring our own then. Honestly, it is more a time saving thing than not wanting to pay to rent one in our case.

Dinner with a neighbor sounds nice. We just had takeout. The kids had a nice healthy dinner prepared by our local Meat & 3. I had egg drop soup and an egg roll. YUMMY! I got dishes washed, a load of clothes in, and now supervising the kids. If I have to say "Leave your sister alone." one more time tonight, I might just have my head explode.

I'll be around. I going back over the condo site. Still haven't decided what to do about that beach trip. An interesting thought though. I always think the weather is cooler for our trip in May (1st week) than in Sept (week after Labor Day). Much cooler. Is the panhandle that much different from Orlando?

Laura, I'm of Irish background. I turn a lovely shade of pink after tanning. :lmao: Today, I used the spay sunscreen that my derm. swore was great. I'm all pink! WTH? We were out for 2 hours. So my advice is skip that stuff! As for the stroller. With DD 6, I would totally rent for her too. I think that if we were going with just DS again only, we'd rent. I'm actually wondering if DH is there to carry him if needed in the evenings if we wouldn't be fine with just a single for DD. Then we could rent one for DS if we needed to do so. I'm really eyeing that McLaren though. That nice shoulder strap looked so nice, especially with mine broken.

Thanks for the help on the dates. I'll keep checking. I think you will be suprised how much you will like it. I was really happy with the ASmo and we were there at a busier time than you. The buses weren't bad - but DH is very impatient on that sort of stuff. Better to keep him happy. Now, if DS and I go back solo, I'd stay there again. I really have to say I felt like I have walked farther to WalMart or the Mall than I did from our room to the bus stop, food court, pool, whatever. I think honestly he had more fun there than he would have anywhere. It still felt like we were in the park even when we weren't. My SIL loves the POP. So do most other people too. It is newer than AS, and from my experience those places were spotless! I think you will like it and DD will love it!:thumbsup2 Are you doing a preferred room?

Anyone else flipping out over the whole plastic sippy cup issue? A friend of mine left a message about it. One more thing to worry with. I guess i will be looking all that stuff up tonight too....

Debbie - I see you! Are we the only ones on right now? Any pics of the GF you want to share - or the Poly for that matter? What about the dinner show at the Poly?

That's why we take ours too. We want it for the airport and to and from the buses, trans, etc. HATE bringing it on the bus that's why we are evne bigger brats and rent a car as well.

AND after all is said and done I SAY.......
Anyway you get there and anywhere you stay YOU ARE THERE!!!!!!!! That's all that matters!

Good morning! Another beautiful day here. Dare I say, I think spring is here to stay!

I'm getting my hair cut, colored, & hilighted today - too much grey is starting to show!:scared: I love getting my hair done - so relaxing!

Kara - I agree with you about DHS. It is a very relaxing park. After running around the other parks, getting on & off rides, it's nice to just sit and be entertained. And our DHS day is always the day we sleep in a little - don't feel the need to rush in early.

You're going to love LeCellier - it's a must-do for us every trip! My DD loves the pretzel bread and the S'mores dessert; me - I love everything! My girls and I also really enjoy San Angel Inn. Can't say it's one of the best meals, but I love the atmosphere in there. Have you ever eaten at Le Chefs de France? DD and I are trying it for the first time in June. I can't wait! There are alot of yummy pictures of food from there posted on the food porn thread. Really looking forward to it!

We ate there in June - It was fantastic! The service was so French - cute too! :goodvibes The food was one of the best meals ever! We had a "full meal deal" - Beef Fillet with sauce and new potatoes - even creme brulee!

Never eaten in France before but it's on our list for September!!!! I wanna eat at every restaurant in WS! We've had sushi apps in Japan, so we still have China, France, Italy, and UK to try. We may eat at France and Italy on the next trip. No ADRs yet, except for Flying Fish - that one will be the night we arrive, out of pocket, so we can save our dining plan meals for Epcot! What sane person could NOT love Epcot? :cloud9: Especially a sane person who likes to eat??? :rotfl:

I have to admit it hasn't been our favorite park, either. We don't really want to spend ride time on history lessons - we did ride the Norway one and the Mexico one once - corny, but out of the sun! We want the RIDES!!! My new favorite in Epcot, though is the Grey Goose Slush! Going into the little shops while my niece and nephew did kidcot was fun!

just checking in and saying hi. I feel so bad I don't remember all the food that was at Epcot. We were there during F&W so everything is a bit hazzy. The wine was great from each country though. This time we'll be more aware of what is going on.

I think I am going to let DHS be and just play it by ear. That is going to be tough to do

Here is one more concern. I know that the dining credits tie back to your room. When is the last day you can use your credits, is it the day you check out or is it the last night you are staying. Does that make sense? We are staying 4 nights but have 5 days in the parks.

Oh, that is a good question.... I thought it was based on the number of nights, so in your case 4 TS, 4 CS, and 4 snacks. Can't they be used any of the 5 days that surround those 4 nights???

I guess you got your answer already.

I just got all the downstairs tile mopped (kitchen, foyer, 2 bathrooms) plus vacuumed the downstairs and the staircase. Also, hung more art on the walls. Had to pull out the extension ladder for a couple of things! :scared1: But I made it! Whew!

Next I need to do the bathrooms then DD and I have our night out on the town tonight. I found some great golf shorts at Bealls and I wanna go get a couple more pairs of those for the trip, plus I need to hit Office Max, AC Moore, and Tuesday Morning. Do any of you have Tuesday Morning by you? Awesome discount store! I saw this huge round clock there one time and it would be great in my family room.... In addition to trying to get everything for Disney, I want the house as decorated as possible when everyone gets here.

Where is my bug man? He's 1 minute late and we have bugs!!!!

Wow! You are really Suzy Homemaker today! I cleaned one toilet and the kitchen!

2563529524
Harmless...but irritating as hell all over my kitchen!:scared1:

I have those too - drives me nuts! In the spring, my bedroom gets full of their babies - they come in throught the window screen - look like little specks of dust, but they move  I have to vacuum them off the walls and ceilings about twice a day.

Laura - I responded before I saw you sat up a thread --- sorry!

We are back from the zoo. Can you say CROWDED! And they added an exibit. Guess what? African WILD DOGS. :rotfl2: DH will crack up. DS kept saying, "let's see the hippos, rinos, lions" and I have to explain that we have Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Monkeys, Crocks, Goats, Sheep, Ducks :rotfl2: But I told him we'd be going to a reals zoo soon.

Kara, you're right, it is a nice way to spend the day. Except today! :scared: 10 bus loads of 2nd graders who I think most had never seen a zoo showed up. :scared: It was so not pretty! Well the TV just reminded me it is Earth Day. DUH! I bet that is why they were all there. We left at 1. I just couldn't take it any more. We had seen all but 2 exhibits anyway.

Okay, guys. Poll time. WDW APRIL or OCT? what is your vote....

Today I get an email special for Orlando for $68. I'm ready to go back.

October!!!! The weather is still great - not too much rain. In April you have higher air fares and higher resort rates cuz of Easter and Spring Break.

Great idea!

I DID IT! My siggie is updated! Debbie - I love your new smiley for yourself! (I hope it's changed recently, because I just noticed! I am a little slow.)

Unfortunately, my weather ticker is right. We are almost in the 90's already. Yuck.

Are we out for a meet in October? Or, are we in?

I get back from Mexico on Oct 2 - I should probably work a week before leaving again. We are supposed to go to Cancun again Oct 12 or something, but I don't think I'm interested after Puerta Vallarta in Sept.

I refer to myself as a BW Snob!:snooty:

To get to MK, the Epcot resorts have bus service; or, if you feel like it, can cut through Epcot (again, stopping at Rose & Crown first) to get to the monorail.

We are hoping to change our SSR ressies to BW at the 7 month mark for March - just thought it would be fun to have a change of scenery - close to Epcot and DHS, and ESPN... But that clown is scarey :scared1:

Well, I have someone coming over to do an order and my office is crazy messy, so I'd better get in there and clean it up! Have a great evening, everyone!

Debbie - I'm watching for your email

Yeah...I actually made it to the mall and it was heaven, no kids , no hassle, a Disney store purchase....all is good!!!!

I have to go feed the puppy and do her shots but I will be back in a half hour (hopefully).

We can talk more POLY!

I'm not that nuts about french food - now Mexican - I'm there! Especially if it is authentic! Tacos de carne asada. :thumbsup2

That is now like the X Fusion. I must try it to see what you are all raving over!

I have those too - drives me nuts! In the spring, my bedroom gets full of their babies - they come in throught the window screen - look like little specks of dust, but they move  I have to vacuum them off the walls and ceilings about twice a day.
Those bugs creap me out! We don't have them here thank goodness! :scared1:

October!!!! The weather is still great - not too much rain. In April you have higher air fares and higher resort rates cuz of Easter and Spring Break.
Yeah, I realized April is Easter next year. I thought April this year (mid) was wonderful though. I have also thought about early May too.

I get back from Mexico on Oct 2 - I should probably work a week before leaving again. We are supposed to go to Cancun again Oct 12 or something, but I don't think I'm interested after Puerta Vallarta in Sept.

Now, I would rather be THERE than WDW (no bopping please!) We went to the Mayan Rivera for our Honeymoon  LOVED IT! We were down from Cancun past Playa del Carmen. BEAUTIFUL! Lucky you!

:
.
