Hello everyone~ Now I'm behind even more pages! GREAT!

We had soccer yesterday - so great! It was his first game ever. LOVED IT! Then I've been trying to unpack/clean.

Carlos goes back to work tomorrow! I'm tired of him hogging the PC!

Is it really Monday already???

But.... only 2 1/2 days to work this week! Then we're off to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Debbie - I'll see you in 2 days!!!! I'll email you my cell phone#, just to make sure you have it. I still think we're gonna be at DTD on Wedesday night. Jeff wants to check out the menu for Raglan Road before he "commits." Yeah, right. It's all set, we're going!

I finally got a return call from Ally's friend. Turns out they were out all weekend, but they acted like it was already a done deal, so they're able to watch her on Friday. Whew! That's a load off my mind. So I guess I'll take Ally's stuff next door tomorrow night, and then we're off around noon on Wednesday!

My car is in really bad shape now. We got it cleaned up on Saturday and it looks brand new! Jeff really cleaned up the inside for me. I love me Rendezvous, but now it's making a clickclick noise when I start it, so I'm wondering what that can be? Then this morning I noticed that the clock had reset to 12:00, so something is definitely wrong. And the a/c fan is still all goofy, comes on, shuts off, comes on, shuts off. So we're dropping it off Wednesday on our way out of town, and just driving Jeff's company car to Disney.

I got all our clothes packed, now I just need to pack my daily bag.

My SteamFast super steamer should be here today!!! I can hardly wait to clean my floors!!! I may not want to go to Disney if this thing works as well as I think it will. I might just want to stay home and enjoy my clean house...... nah!!!

I will DEFINITELY be shopping for Tupperware! Why is it that all the little storage containers for leftovers, seen to disappear? Just this weekend we were trying to pack up leftovers and couldn't find ANYTHING to put them in!

Tammie - you're right about the hormones. I really need to start paying closer attention when I shop. But the organic and such is SOOO expensive! And milk is already $4.50/gallon down here!!!

Laura - how are Katherine and Tim feeling? Hope they had a good weekend.

Jillian - yea, under 2 months!!!! That seems to make it so real, right?

Cammie - funny how Lauren has to be "dressy but not TOO dressy" right? I swear, even Ally is beginning to be fashion conscious. Today, she wore a little cami under another shirt, and it had to show just the right amount underneath the shirt. She's cracking me up! My poor neighbors - they have two boys, they're gonna be so glad to get rid of Ally after 2 nights!!!

I think I'm gonna have to get them a nice gift cert for a restaurant and then watch their kids while they enjoy a night out.

I'm getting ready to make hotel ressies for Ally and I on our way to Ohio. I play the Expedia game. I find a hotel, then find it cheaper on the hotel's own website, then I book with Expedia, then report that I found it cheaper, and they send me a $50 travel voucher, so I can use that one for the hotel on the return trip. I do this nearly every time and it works!!!

Kara - Just an FYI. I don't think the menus posted here on the DIS or Allears for Raglan Road are up to date. When we went in June, we were told that there was a new chef and the menu was re-done; there were alot of new dishes. So don't let Jeff get discouraged by the menu if he doesn't see anything he likes. I think you guys will really like it - it was sooo good. And it's a fun atmosphere!

Good morning Cammie - I need to jump in the shower, but just thought I'd stop by since I saw your light on.

Speaking of ADRs - I can't figure out what to do now. We were going to do a "resort hopper" tour and I had that all figured out - but that was if we could stay at BWV. Now that we will be at SSR, I just can't wrap my head around our trip. I have TGM, but the dates don't come out until after the date for ADRs - what's the point? I sent them an email and the reply was to ask the others in their forum. Jim wants to go to a Braves game, and their schedule isn't out yet, either.

We are thinking about not doing DDP, just a couple of our favs and maybe a few offsite places. I don't know. We are renting a car to save time and frustration. Maybe it's the control freak thing - just didn't like the Disney bus system at all.

Any thoughts?

Tammie - you were wanting to try eating at the different resorts, right? With the exception of a couple, I can't think of any resorts that really have any great TS restaurants. I think you'd be better off dining in Epcot, if you're looking for someplace nice to eat.

Have you ever tried Flying Fish on the Boardwalk? It is mine and Jeff's favorite place to eat at Disney. But it's two TS credits..... If you're looking to pay out of pocket, it might be worth it. So very yummy!

I am so glad your friends came through for you! Yeah! I can't wait to meet you! I am afraid we are going to miss DTD Wednesday because of our flight so keep your fingers crossed for us! Are you going to be in AK Thursday???


Also, Tammie, we LOVE Chef Mickey!!!! And there is the California Grill on the top floor of the CR. Ohana.....at PR our Gala Feast at GF is a buffet as well. Don't know your taste.
AND we always rent a car! It does help with the time and stress. I always get a super deal and if you stay in a WDW resort parking is free EVERYWHERE for you.
We got a 8 passenger mini van from Wednesday to Wednesday for 125.00!!!

Tammie - If you want to do resort hopping, I would DEFINTELY rent a car; just takes too much time to use the buses to go from resort to resort.

It sounds like a really fun idea though - especially since it's just you and Jim. The two of you could really treat yourselves to some of the more upscale restaurants on the property. At WL - Artist Pointe; CR - CaliGrill and I hear The Wave is getting some good reviews, although I think the menu looks a little weird; a fine selection at GF; BW - as Kara mentioned, Flying Fish; Yacht Club - we really liked The Yachtsman. And there's a restaurant at the Dolphin or Swan (can't remember which) called BlueZoo - it's Todd English's restaurant. The pix I've seen on the foodporn thread look AMAZING!

Okay to vent where everyone understands. I'm in one of those "drowning" spurts.
1. yard needs to be reseeded and watered
2. Bushes need trimmed
3. Flowerbeds need cleaned.
4. I'm digging up those stupid Iris and Lilly beds to get rid of them
5. Weeding.
6. Clean out Garage
7. indoors is trashed
8. Laundry to my knees.
9. Need to clean out kids closets.
10. Need to do projects for an online class (we're at week 3 and I've done nothing)
11. Need to schedule dentist
12. Need to repeat PAP - didn't get enough cells on the test last week
13. Need to get serious about a diet
14. need to do something for myself, but we all know how that goes.
15. Family needs fall clothes.
16. Car needs cleaned
17. I need to plan our May WDW trip

OK, here goes....

Renee - throw some laundry in NOW, then head out and weed the beds. Come in and throw laundry in dryer, another load in washer. Out to finish the beds.

Come in, take a break and call dentist and reschedule PAP. Throw more laundry in.

Carlos can trim bushes and clean garage.

Do you have the seed already? If so, head out and seed, then water. If not, do this on your way back from getting car cleaned. See below.

Finish digging up irises and lilies.

Done outside.

When kids are all up from naps, take car and have someone clean it!!! I treat myself to this about every 3-4 months. It's usually about $25 and they wash outside and hand dry it, vacuum, clean windows, clean dash, etc. Well worth it for me!

Finish laundry and fold and put away.

Done for today!!!

Tomorrow, work INSIDE on picking up and cleaning out kids' closets. AFTER you clean out closets, THEN go shopping for fall clothes.

It's so much easier to plan someone else's day!!! Seriously though, just take it one step at a time, and then cross off your list. Once you get 2 or 3 things done, you'll feel so much better because you'll see that you've gotten something accomplished!!!

As for the diet and doing something for YOU, just sit down when the house is quiet, and plan what you want to do. Set a START date, and do it! Put the kids to bed and take a hot bubble bath - especially if you've worked out in the yard today, it'll make you feel so much better!

Question...have any of you ever just packed with your stuff still on the hangers laying flat. I know it takes up extra room but then you have MORE room when you come home with souvenirs! Is this doable???
