I was going to forward you the email confirmation I get, but I haven't gotten it yet.

Me too Debbie - forwarded you my confirmation sheet. I thought it was odd that your name was no where on it, so make sure you get credit for it. I picked out about 9 things and during the checkout I got 3 really cute "offers only for your order" sale items. One was the cutest little tropical toned tumbler/pitcher/bowl play set for $8.99! Mia will love it and I won't have to worry about her using it!

I now see three Tupperware orders place! Thank you girls!!!!!!

Holy CRUD!!!! you are insane!!!!! How will you get all of this done?
We have a rule here I do inside things he does outside things. We are now splitting the laundry. He will put it in in the AM I change it out fold put away etc.... Have that MAN help you!!!!:snooty:

I hear ya sistas!!! Today I had that awful thought...
"One week from today and I will already be home from my trip :guilty: "
...That is sad!

Question...have any of you ever just packed with your stuff still on the hangers laying flat. I know it takes up extra room but then you have MORE room when you come home with souvenirs! Is this doable???

I never have enough room to pack like that now I need to fit things for 3 people in 2 suitcases. UGH!!! I may have to bring a duffle bag to fold up and put in the suitcase for souv. on the way home. Mikes Carry on! I will check out your tupperware I just bought some not to long ago so I will have to see if there is anything different:thumbsup2

Don't think about coming home you are not there yet!

Tammie- what about getting the DDE card? Then you can get the discount and not worry about DDP. We Love renting a car and we take it everywhere. We have AAA and get the Diamond Parking card it really helps out alot not having to take the busses and getting to park up near handicap parking. If you have AAA call and ask if you can get one. Call around if the first says no.

Well I hope everyone has a great day! I have already been to Kohls to get some things for Luca for our trip. He was in 12 months for this summer and I needed to look for 18 to 24 months for November I wish I had thought about this before hand:headache:

Kara- We are looking at new cars now for next November:eek: It takes me forever to decide what I want. We are thinking maybe that new VW minivan. I love my VW's I had a beetle for 6 years and when it broke down I went with the Nissan Altima which I don't love at all.

I am so glad Ally's friend called back:yay: Now you and Jeff can have a romantic vacation and not have to worry about things too much.

You guys rock!
Thanks!

Hi Jillian..I know I am crazy!!!!! Have fun shopping!

The only good thing about paying for four seats was I made the cut off and I get 4 pieces without being charged!:cool1:

I got my steamer! I got my steamer!!! It's plugged in and heating now! I plan to scrub the foyer before gymnastics tonight! Woo hoo!

Tammie - If you want to do resort hopping, I would DEFINTELY rent a car; just takes too much time to use the buses to go from resort to resort.

It sounds like a really fun idea though - especially since it's just you and Jim. The two of you could really treat yourselves to some of the more upscale restaurants on the property. At WL - Artist Pointe; CR - CaliGrill and I hear The Wave is getting some good reviews, although I think the menu looks a little weird; a fine selection at GF; BW - as Kara mentioned, Flying Fish; Yacht Club - we really liked The Yachtsman. And there's a restaurant at the Dolphin or Swan (can't remember which) called BlueZoo - it's Todd English's restaurant. The pix I've seen on the foodporn thread look AMAZING!

When can you make your ADRs?

Thanks to Cammie, and also to Debbie , Jillian and Kara for your suggestions - I can make ADRs on Sep 22. I see Park hours came out today, so maybe that will help me get in the mode.

I'm starting to get really excited about our Mexico trip!! :woohoo: We leave in 10 days! Maybe that's why I can't focus on Disney right now.

Hi all! It was a crappy day at work and I had to work late. My casserole I fixed last night and had Darrin put in the oven was awful. It was the first time I'd tried that recipe. Taylor had Girl Scouts and Darrin brought her since I was STILL working. I picked her up tho. I feel whipped. Thanks for listening.

I have skimmed thru everything and have so much to say but I am too tired. I will catch up, hopefully tomorrow. I feel like I deserve a break after the day I had today, with no lunch.

Debbie and Kara - Just in case I don't get back - Have a blast on your trips!!!

Debbie - I saw your Tupperware email and plan on ordering.

I still plan on looking at everyone's Facebook and MySpace.

We did find Megan's homecoming dress. I don't even feel like elaborating right now, but it is beautiful. We also got her properly measured for bras, and spent about 2 1/2 hrs in the dressing room w/her trying on bras!

I need to go to bed! 'Night all!:grouphug:

Hi Girls! It's amazing what a night's sleep will do to your attitude. I was so TIRED! Work has been kicking my butt! I have no breaks at all, and haven't even taken lunches lately. I did miss most of the day Friday cuz Megan was sick, but I did work from home some. So, yesterday when I had to work late, I felt I couldn't complain. It just ruined my evening because we had a game plan, part of which was getting my nails done because I didn't Sunday due to spending so much time shopping w/Megan, and it didn't happen. They close at 7. So, if all goes well, I am going to go tonight. No activities for the girls tonight, and we'll have a quick, easy dinner, then I'll go. Workout nights - Wed and Thurs. We don't have a Friday game this week, and that can be my back up workout night if I don't make it Tues & Wed. It only takes me an hour from doorstep to gym to doorstep, but it's amazingly hard to get it in sometimes.

Kara - I am so glad that it worked out w/your neighbors keeping Ally. That is such a peace of mind. Any luck w/the eBay dress? It's beautiful. Have you steamed yet???? YOUR TRIP IS SO CLOSE!

Tammie - Happy Anniversary! 38 yrs? What an accomplishment!! I haven't seen Fools Gold. We love MM! We also love movies like How to Lose a Guy..., Thirteen Going on 30, etc. I think it falls into that category. Yea about Mexico!!

Jillian - 2 months will be here before you know it!!

Cammie - Do you get the chance to chaperone Lauren's dances? I loved doing that in middle school. How did your Giants do? Cowboys won!! Yoo hoo! Our HS team did, too. Yoo hoo!

Debbie - Great deal on the minivan in WDW! Are the kids just so excited?? Is kindergarten still going well for E?

Renee- I am a list maker, too. I make lists of my lists. I feel lucky if I get 1/2 my stuff done. I'd like to think that if I didn't work FT, I could get so much more done. I just hate being away from my house for almost 12 hrs a day, 5 days a week. On Darrin's next promotion, I am going to get a job w/the school district so that I can have shorter days and be off in the summer. That is my goal. Hang in there!!!! Just cross off one or two things and it will make you feel a little less overwhelmed.

I got a referral and the name of an ENT specialist for Megan. She may have to have her tonsils out over Thanksgiving or Christmas break. Uggh. At least it will end the sore throat and massive tonsils! She is finishing her meds, but is getting better.

Have a great day, all!!!:flower3:

Good morning!

Pam - Good to hear from you again. Sorry things are so hectic; I'm happy when the girls head back to school, but I hate all the running around and scheduling. And -- our Giants: 2 and 0, baby!:cheer2:

Yeah on getting the dress for Meghan!:yay: Details please! I took Lauren shopping last night for an outfit (or top) for school pix tomorrow. She got a cute top at American Eagle and also tried on a mini-skirt. I completely VETOED the mini-skirt. Actually, it wasn't a mini-skirt; it was a MACRO-mini-skirt. Good grief.....that thing was SHORT!!!!:scared1: God bless her - she's got the long legs to wear a short skirt like that but not in 7th grade! (if I had my way - not until college!;) ) She started arguing with me that she could wear a pair of shorts under the thing. What's the point of that? And besides - her shorts are longer than that mini-skirt. I swear, some of the fashions out there for girls are very scary! Dress shopping should be really fun. Fortunately she already has a little black sparkly dress that I bougth on sale from LimitedToo last spring. She likes it alot but again, is afraid it may be "too dressy". So of course, she has to check with her friends!:confused3

And to answer your question, Pam: I did chaperone her 6th grade dance last year. I had a hoot but I think I cramped her style. Lauren and her friends have already given us moms the word that we are NOT to sign up for chaperoning duties this year. That's ok - we'll just huddle outside in the parking lot and peek in the windows!:dance3:

Kara and Debbie: ONE MORE DAY!!!!!:yay:  :yay:

I got some good news last night about our Nov.trip. I've always been on the fence about having a nurse come with us to help with Amanda because I really hate the intrusion and just want it to be family time. But it has just gotten so much harder to take care of her by myself for a whole week. I finally broke down and asked the one nurse who I wouldn't mind coming - she's a good friend and a little bit younger than me - so she's fun; and GREAT with Amanda. She told me last night that she would be able to come for our last weekend - so I'll have her help Friday through Sunday. She's already purchased her airline tix!:woohoo: Having help for three days is going to give me such a break! And to have another adult flying home with us will relieve Lauren of alot of the responsibility I usually dump on her. I'm soooo relieved!

Hi Tammie, Renee, Jillian, Laura, Tina, Tessa and any other control freaks reading out there!:flower3:

Pam- Glad to hear things are a better this AM. You sounded so stressed in your last post. Can't wait to hear about THE dress.

Cammie- I am glad to hear you will have help. It must be such a relief for you Lauren and Amanda. Can you believe we are getting so close to our trip? It is amazing. I am a little nervous about super soap weekend and now the free dining offer I hope it is not too crowded.

Kara and Debbie- Pack Pack Pack! I am so excited for you guys.Take lots of pics to share!

Well it is cold here this AM and we are going to be house mouses today. I have 4 baskets of laundry to fold mostly Badookies things. I am going to post my ADR's please tell me what you think. I want to try to fit a Kona breakfast in somewhere I want to try the Coffee so badly.

Pam - sorry to hear about your long day yesterday, but you sound so much better this morning! :thumbsup2 Oy vey, I dread the day I have to take Ally bra shopping!!! :scared1:

Cammie - yea on the nurse for Disney! That should really make that last weekend so much more relaxing for you. Plus the cool DISer you're gonna meet that weekend! ;)

OK, are ya ready? I got in my car last night to take Ally to gymnastics. Dead. Click Click Click, and nothing else. So I called and got her into a makeup class next week, which means TWO days of driving to the other side of town. And my car is still in the garage. Jeff is bringing home a jump box tonight and then he'll start it tomorrow and drive it to work. IF it starts. I don't think a jump box will do it, but we'll see. Either way, it's going to the shop tomorrow so hopefully it will be done when we get back from Disney.

As for my steamer, OMG, I love it!!! I got the grout and tile in the foyer, kitchen, and hall bath. The foyer looks brand new! The kitchen needs a couple more shots, but it made a big difference. I think the mop water was settling in the grout and discoloring it. But now I have off white grout again!!! I was a cleaning machine last night! Until the belt broke on my vacuum cleaner. I swear, it's always something... :sad2:

My neighbor just called and we're going to get mani/pedi this morning. Since I don't have a car, she offered me her car to use, but this way we can chat together, AND I can get it done. That was my plan today anyway, but no car just freaks me out.... Luckily I have two neighbors who are SAMs so I know I can get ahold of them if I need a car.

Well, off to get something done now.....

hello

kara that stupid facebook has dragged me in. i am spending way to much time on the computer. I thought oh i'd find a few friends out here not I have 42 + friends on there and there are more people that I want to find. aghhh there isn't enough time in the day.

Congrats on the steamer I knew you'd love it.

I'd bettter run. Yoga starts in 20 min at the Y.

They are sending out an email code for free dining. We just got it last week. It saved us another 200 on our trip. We are so super excited. I feel like I can splurge a little now. So I would say 1557 for 8days is super!

Yes, VERY cheesy video - and quite frankly, the rooms are not that impressive. When I go to Disney, I don't want to stay at a "Hilton" type resort. That's why I don't like the Contemporary - it's not really that contemporary anymore, and it's just a blah room. Doesn't seem to have the Disney spirit or theming. I'm one of those who likes the cheesiness of Disney rooms......

Jillian - you go girl!!!! Getting all those great deals! :thumbsup2
