Kari said she was going to be teaching a Bible study group and that would take up a lot of time. Plus, she's got two little ones..... I hate to see her go!

that makes sense. I have no, zero motivation to clean the rest of the house. I have stack of 600 kids e-mail addresses I need to add to the school directory. I need to have it done, printed and ready to go by October 4. Needless to say I should get moving on it.

Hiya all -
still lurking.... school is back and soooo busy right now..
Kids had piano lessons today too, I am so proud! DD7 had to play a tune using both hands, playing a different tempo with each hand - she did sooooooo well!! And dd6 had to play a Russian folk song - that she just happened to practise last weekend and had no errors.... Proud mummy here!! I am worried though - I find it hard to help them practise as I don't play more than "tunes for 10 fingers " i.e. the pre-primer level ( for 5-6 year olds!!!!) so they are now much more advanced than me!

Kara - why does it really hurt US when we know they try hard at homework and don't quite get it right, hope Ally isn't too down.....

Tessa - sounds like you play piano better than me! I can bang on the keys and play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with one finger, but that's it!

Sounds like your girls are doing great! I didn't realize that they were only a year apart - are they pretty close?

YOu guys just blew thought the pages when I was gone! We are back - and I think everyone was really glad to be home. It was a good time, but a lot of work. Lots of interesting stories that I'll get to later.

I'm trying to get through the 177 emails I have first.

Hope everyone is doing well. Off to get up the napping princess. I sware she knows when I sit down at the PC.

Naptime! can't seem to get more than 4 hrs sleep at night, so I need a nap during the day - not getting old or anything

Tammie, if it makes you feel any better, I lay on the couch and read for about 1/2 hr or 40 minutes every day during lunch, and then catch a 15 minute power nap. Does wonders for me!

Hey I started with the cushions.. Actually I was side tracked making a HM book cover for DD9. When I say started, well I bought the foam and the muslin, so I'm half way there.

Oh did I mention mil is leaving for Disney on Monday! Yeah I'm really excited for her - NOT - try incredibly jealous!! She has a cold and it's everything for me not to say I'll go in her place. But I'm sure I'd have to fight over DH who'd what to go just as bad. We got her Disney $$s and some shirts - the woman hasn't even packed yet!!! I'd be packed, suitcases at the door ready to go!

I'm still trying to talk DH into going, LOL not talk into, but find the $$ for - is more like it.

Good Morning All!

Had a great night last night with Ally. Our mani/pedi party, that I thought meant painting nails turned into a full blown spa party! She got out the foot soak tub with the marbles in the bottom, then the foot scrub and lotion! I've ruined her for life with the mani/pedi I took her to for her 6th bday and again before we went to WDW in May!

She got all her homework done last night, with many tears thrown in there. The first time it was very messy (she's a lefty so neatness is hard for her) and I made her do it again. But once it was done she understood and felt better about her work.

My mom did the same thing when I was growing up and I thank her for it everyday now. It makes me a more diligent and organized person.

Then we just went up to the golf clubhouse for dinner. They have that great salad so I knew I could eat right. Then back home for spa party. While I was doing her nails, she read a book to me. So we killed 2 birds with one stone there!

Debbie - I'm so sad to see rumblytumbly leaving! She was awesome and always made me smile! And congrats on being the Daisy leader! You'll have a lot of fun with that!

Cammie - I always say there's nothing wrong with checking out the "menu" as long as you don't plan on ordering!!! As long as I breathe, I'll always admire the fine young things!

Laura - how is Beth doing in gymnastics? It's not much fun watching when they first start, but once they get into more difficult stunts, it's a more fun, if not nerve wracking!

Renee - aren't you back yet????

Tammie - I got your package but haven't had a chance to go through it yet...

I think I'm getting carpel tunnel. Probably from all my DISing! My wrist aches all the time, especially when I'm typing. I think I'm just getting old. All these aches and pains....

Jillian - where you at girl?

I'm here just been busy the weather has been so terrific that we have been out EVERYday. I have also been cleaning up like crazy. I am sick of the clutter. I am not a fan of nick knacks just cannot stand them Mike is a pack rat and it is our biggest fight. Thanks for missing me!

Well I got a Pin code in the email today and it saved me another $170 can you believe it so with everything from plane tickets to car rental to Disney w/ FREE dining it is going to cost me as much as staying at a Value
Grand total $2002 gotta love Disney!!!

I hope everyone is doing well I couldn't really go back and catch up I may have found a stay at home job as an on call coordinator for a travel nurse company it would only be every other weekend and 2 holidays a year! I really do hope I get it.

So I wanted to post what I did today. DD9 said she needed a book cover, so I made her a cool one with HM fabric.

And DH made me this neat pole for my dress form - yes it's made from duck tape, but it's really cool because you mold it around the person so it's true fit and it costs next to nothing compared to the real dress forms that cost like $150.

Promise I'm going to make those cushions. I'm sitting next to the foam thing right now. I can't sleep so I'm trying figure out if I should cut the fabric now or wait until tomorrow. I need to make the practice cushion before Friday because I'm sitting on it for 3 hours during dance.
