i needed those pictures. Dummy here lost her Drivers Lisc at the movie theatre. It fell out of my pocket. I've asked for them to look but I think it is gone. I have signed up for an identity theft product as well as put a fraud alert on my credit files. I am terrified. But at least the SSR pics calmed me down a bit

:headache: Did you double check the parking lot, your car, and your house?

Not to monopolize the thread with my princess room decorating woes, but I figured out that each of those princesses I cut come with matching WINDOWS. Like the window from their castle. I think I will cut those and see how those princesses pair up - what that does to the look.:thumbsup2

I may go get paint today. to get this show on the road. I'm washing bedding today, so I should get that done today too! :cool1:

Love all the SSR pictures. I can't wait to start planning our daily agenda! Seriously, this is going to be such fun! How many days of park tickets were you having in mind?

yup checked everywhere. I remembered taking it out the theatre and then it was gone.

SSR is beautiful! September is a great time.

I'm so jealous seeing the pictures of SSR and reading about all of your planning!! DH came home the other day saying he had 'found' some days in November that we could possibly go to Disney, but the prices of airfare are so expensive I don't think we can do it.

Tammie - that property is beautiful! YOu are one lucky duck to be a DVC memeber there! I'm sold!

That place definately gets my vote!!!!!

Kara is making stickers to go on our foreheads Cammie - did you miss the night we all agreed on that? :confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So, my mom comes over. Showed her what I was working on for Mias room. She basically poo-pooed all over it. :sad1:

Oh goody! Stickers!!! :rotfl2: Don't let anyone pooh pooh on you! :headache:

Renee- I Love the Wall Art try swapping the princesses to the other side on the Large one? I think it may need some color even a really PALE Pink? What about a frame instead of the ribbon? Then you can decorate the frame. Or what about a Shadow box? You can add things as she grows?

Sept 18 to the 20th? Hmm I think I may stay a bit longer for me that is alot of money for a flight to have to turn around and fly back? Maybe I will do the 17th to the 20th? Something like that and go to the spa? Hmm I will have to think about it.

Jillian, I was thinking about a little longer, too - Jim said, "you're FLYING to WDW for a LONG WEEKEND? a LONG WEEKEND?" Hmmm sounds like I need to be gone longer! :rotfl:

Oh Laura - I'm sorry. That can really make you panic. I hope everything works out well.

I am going to buy an AP when we're there in March, so I can use it in Sept, too.

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Kara, those shirt designs are really cute!

I can't wait for the planning to commence - should be fun with a bunch of CONTROL FREAKS!

In all honesty, I guess I have the "luxury" of waiting to see what everyone else is doing and then go with that. If most of you come down on Thurs, I can do the same. But if the group decides on Fri, I can do that too. But I think that is something that everyone can decide for themselves, too. It's fine if a few come Thurs and the rest on Friday, or whatever.

AND, just for the record, we do not have to be joined at the hip every minute of every day!!! I have a feeling that we'll split off into two or three groups during the days and then meet up for dinner later???

Oh, honey, we're gonna have shirts!!! And anything else I can think of!!!!!
:thumbsup2 I'll wear the shirts Kara - nice design!

Well.......I have an annual pass so I can go as many days as I want!:snooty:
Okay, if we are going to buy a ticket for May - question here - are annual passes for 12 calendar months or 12 months from purchase. If so, would I be better buying one?

DOn't tell me I'm going to have to return all those kiddie wrist leashes I just bought for everyone. :sad1:

We'll I'm for sticking together as much as we can. :snooty:

What you can to is price out what the ticket will cost you in May; and then get the price for what a ticket for our trip will cost - will probably want a 3 or 4 day park hopper? Add the two up and see if it's more than what one annual pass would cost. You can get the ticket prices at WDW's site.

Yeah, we're not your inlaws, Kara! So don't try to ditch us! I'm sticking to all of you also!:snooty:

Good morning all! Another very gloomy day today. Temps are only in the 60s. This is August? So much for global warming. I'll take it though - my electric bill last month was $500 because I had the ac on so much. It's nice to just be able to keep the windows open for a change.

We'll be off to tennis in a little while; then back for the afternoon.

Well, the girls had another un-eventful weekend with their dad. I'm telling ya', every Sunday when they get back, Lauren winds up talking my ear off until after midnight about all the things that bugged her all weekend. I'm glad she can vent to me though.

One battle I did get involved in was my ex had a problem with Lauren's pajamas. Yep, he made a fuss that the shorts were too short and made her change them when his parents came over in the morning. She was so mad and embarassed. Of course, I'm the one who bought them so I feel like he's taking a dig at me. Told me they were inappropriate to be worn in public. WTH?:confused3 The man who cheated on his wife and has lied countless times to his kids now has a moral backbone? And, anyway, they're not too short - they're boxers that she sleeps in! The kid has really long legs so that may make them look short but it's not like you see anything if she bends over. I would never let her wear anything like that! I asked him "Do you REALLY want to make a fuss out of her pjs? Because there is going to be so much more down the road and you should pick your battles." He didn't care - he was taking a stand and said he'll continue to voice his opinion on her clothing choices! Jeez!:sad2: But, the sad thing is that Lauren has no respect for his opinion anyway, so all she feels toward him is resentment. God, I worry whenever they go over there for fear of what he'll say next. I swear, if he ever criticizes her body, I may go all psycho on him!:furious:

:sad2: Seriously, the man needs to get a grip!!! He probably knows that his daughter is growing up and feels it's his "duty" to get involved. Yeah, well he should have thought of that a long time ago, huh?

OH, it is such a Monday today!!!! Already slammed with customer service issues this morning. Gonna be a long day....

Another way to save a bit of money, if you don't have a pass and you get in on Thursday? Just get a 3 day hopper (Fri-Sun) and we can hang at DTD on Thurs night, dinner, drinks and shopping - what could be better????

That has yet to be decided! I'm on a Disney manhunt afterall!;)

Oh! Oh! I can see it now - DISboard chicks on a mission! :rotfl2:Don't worry J/K

I think that when men start to notice their little girls are growing up, it makes them uncomfortable, and they take it out on the girls - again, men are pigs!!!

That's how we always start our trips - we usually get in at night coming from the West Coast, so we just "chill" at DTD for the first night.

hi
HAPPY DAY!!! Someone found my Drivers Liscense (DL) at the theatre:) No visa but I canceled that. just so glad DL didn't leave the theatre, less likely someone used it.

Sorry about your ex Cammie. Men can be dumb. Tim has problems with some of the stuff I buy Beth. It is just Hanna Montana shirts. This is from the man who wore the Metalica shirt of "Metal up your A##! in jr. high. I think they are just scared to let their little girls grow up.

ooooh DTD the first night sounds good. I'm still thinking on how I am going to work this. But getting very excited.

off to get my DL and to the gym. Now I have more motivation to get my butt in shape.

Hey guys! Well, got over to the tennis courts to find that the lessons had been cancelled - the courts are too wet. I wish the darn instructor had at least called to tell us. He starts lessons at 8:30am, so he certainly had enough time to call. Now Lauren's annoyed she had to get up early. Yeah - getting up at 9:30 is early for her!

Thanks for commiserating re: the ex. I just worry that as Lauren hits these teen years, he's just going to do and say alot of wrong things. I mean, she has daddy issues to beging with because of the way he left; now he wants to critique her clothes, and then what else? She's a good girl; wish he'd just sit back and let her just be.:sad2:

I think there is just a @$10 price jump to go from 3 to 4 days. Depending on what time people got in, you could hit a park for a few hours; then jump over to DTD at night when, hopefully, the rest of us get in. Personally, if it was just me, I'd LOVE to walk around MK by myself and just soak up the sights!:cloud9: Don't know if it'd be worth the extra expense for others just to do that though.

Oh! Oh! I can see it now - DISboard chicks on a mission! :rotfl2:Don't worry J/K

Oh, I'm not worried! I'd LOVE for you guys to just deliver a man to me!:lmao:
