I haven't been around becuase we have been running errands for her shower this Sunday. She is good thank you for asking. They think she will go to term

I have been super busy w/ the Badookie being summer and all. I also have been trying to organize this house
Jillian - so glad to hear she is better - and sorry the package got returned. That happened to me on a Father's Day Card

It's been so hot here we've been indoors a lot. We've also been at our friend's pool a lot of mornings 10-12.
No One ever text pages me
.
I'm lazy. Cammie is my designated text contact because she is the only one I have in my phone!

I put it in there when Amanda was in the hospital and saved it. I try not to do it too often at $1 a pop!
Cammie - How is Amanda doing? Has she had another checkup done? I was wondering if she was back to herself and getting off the pain meds yet. Does she seem like the surgery has left her discomfort better than it was before?
No, if you're talking about me using his truck - I have to. The weekends he takes the girls, he has to take my van because it's wheelchair accessible; and I have to use his LandRover. I hate that thing! It's too trucky for me and on top of that he has - no exaggeration - FOUR Nascar stickers pasted all over the rear window!
Yeah, it was the truck. I mean, I know that he probably needed your van. Honestly Cammie - I know this sounds rude, but my parents acting so civil for the kids wouldn't have happened. My Dad and SM got up and stormed out of my undergrad graduation because my DM & DSF were in the same AUDITORIUM. Right before I walked, I watched them leave without saying a word.
That's fine! I love to stay on property, too! I'm in!

Did you say value, cuz I thought someone said SSR. Let me check on "member cash" for that property - or did you already, Pam? Also, I don't want to sound like a broken record, but Shades of Green has rooms almost twice as big as the SSR studio - 2 queens and a couch bed, plus good discounts on the park tickets for those of us that need them. I can get up to 5 rooms, we use the disney transportation system, or theirs, which BTW was much more prompt and way less waste of time - have all of the in the park bennies, and it is across the street from the monorail. (across the street being about 1/4 mile

) I think with Jim's rank, the room is $109 for 4 and $139 for 6.
It's $189 for a suite that sleeps 8. I'm just thinking cheap cuz of the airfare and 'splainin' to Jim or in Renee's case, Ricky - how this trip with a bunch of cyber friends makes sense
Kara, you will really have to meet us in March so Jim will know you are not a stalker!
Tammie - you are just Ms. Hookup there, aren't you! So do you mind me asking what branch of service Jim was in? My SF was in the Navy (Atlantic) and I have two Step Brothers - one served a 18 mo tour in Iraq and the other leaves in Oct. I love military families.
I don't know - this is just my two cents - but if we all were okay with splitting a nicer room 4 ways to justify it as a "cheap splurge" would that be nicer and leave more openings in the SOG for service men & women and their families to enjoy during their leave
The other thing I would throw out there - and I don't know if you would be interested or not - is what about staying somewhere that we typically wouldn't stay. This may be a me only thing, but I know our trips are ultimately revolving on the kids (BTW - Carlos is leaning towards Poly because of Mr. Stitch Lover.

). I don't know - maybe I'm wrong - but isn't SSR the one that has that spa? That would be awesome to get a massage while there
I'm flexible and can go with what the majority wants. That is just my little thoughts for what they are worth. BUT I DO THINK YOU ARE SO SWEET TAMMIE - you are always offering up good deals, or offering to help someone with something (BTW - Mia's bottom is finally red free, so I'm going to give the samples you sent me a shot finally!

I just had guilt trying them while she was still chapped in case the active ingredient is the issue for her.)
i'm a looser and didn't get on at all today. Tim broke the computer. Guess I should have texted one of you. I will attempt to go back and read but it might not get done as both girls went to the lake. Tim and I are having personal time this weekend woo-hooo!!!

Glad you are getting some down time without the kiddos there!
Pam - hope you are enjoying movie night.
Hey - and here is a question too... I know Kara mentioned something about a cheap rate at SSR - now isn't that close to DTD? I haven't been, but would we be able to quickly get over there for dining and shopping? I'm still not sure I understand how that whole area is set up. I thought it was a bunch of clubs with just 2 or 3 stores, but I'm gathering there is so much more there.
Maybe I should look at resorts on my TGM so I know what you guys are all talking about. I'm a little more familiar with SSR because my friend owns a DVC there and loves it. She has literally talked about DVC until I want to puke! A walking ad, she is. I bet she gets something for a referral - right?
Where are some yummy places to eat? Is there one nice "must do" dinner we can do. I'll go on record as the person who can find something to eat just about anywhere. That is why I'm so skinny!
Okay, I'm going to try to make myself go to sleep now. I seriously hate this lack of ability to sleep thing. Drives me nuts. I'm tired, just can't sleep.
