Purple queen - kind of a low ground cover, but also little pink flowers pop out during the day....

Oh, and then I also planted some orange flowers.... Don't know what they are called, but I liked them too! It's probably gonna look really crappy, but I like lots of color (obviously!).

I'll post pics of the landscaping later...

Skimmed quickly to see what was said about the canvas since I said I was going to work on it today. :rolleyes1 I'll read in a few.

THE CANVAS

I'm planning on doing her name. Shaddowing it in Chocolate to tie in the curtains, and making the letters pink like the ribbon. Definately Snow White on there too - maybe Belle if I have room. Then using the ribbon as a border for it rather than just leaving it bare.

Make sense or am I being clear as mud again?

Okay - off to take little man to school.

Got it, but I am OUT. I thought you were just trimming it w/the ribbon, and putting stuff on it. Too complicated for me!:lmao: My girls will have to keep thier little boards....:rotfl2:

Silly food for thought - These 100 Calorie Packs are microscopic! If this is 100 calories, I dread thinking about how many calories are in my usual portions of cookies/chips!!:scared1:

I know!!!! I guess it defeats the purpose when I eat 4 bags of them, huh? :rotfl2:

Good Morning! TGIF!!!

My baby comes home tomorrow!
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

So Jeff just calls me to tell me that he left his cell phone in the golf cart. ?
Carlos did the same thing when we were visiting trip before last in OH. Left that, his checkcard (inside his wallet) - MEN!

TGIF!!!

Renee –Does Mia have Crocs on in one of the pics? She has Knocks. :rotfl2: Seriously, I don't know what the "brand" is but they aren't Crocs. She picked them out at Babies R Us, but I'm sure you can get them at Toys R Us too. What was cool about them is they have a velcro adjustable heel. Highly recommend them for the bitty ones - so far no tripping! :thumbsup2
Hmmm…I will need to borrow your idea for the canvas for the girls rooms! They have little covered boards, but not that big. Where do you get them? Last question. When do you think you are going to get your kids some toys??!!! I miss those days!Pam, the canvas is from Joanns - about $5 if you get one you are going to cover. You can do what you are talking about easily. Just get the canvas, get quilt batting and your fabric. Lay the quilt batting over it first, then the fabric and staple it down - then put your riboon trim on. DONE. Or you could criss cross ribbon over it to give them places to tuck treasures into. I've done this before - pretty easy.

Cammie – How was the concert?! Will you be posting JB pics? I hope that you didn’t get rained on too badly or at all!
Cammie - you aren't hung over from the JB concert are you? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
]!!

Yeah, I'm thinking Cammie probably NEEDED to drink, hanging out with a bunch of screaming teenie boppers! "Oh, Nick!!! Oh, Kevin!! Oh, Joe!!! " Oh, I'm so embarassed I know their names!!! :rotfl2:

OK, Renee, now I understand what you're doing with the canvas! Sounds really cute!

I was going to say - ummmm... Kara, I think we need to talk.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Here is the work in progress.

Now, you guys promise me that the ribbon around this hanging on the wall isn't going to look stupid?????

Why would it look stupid? I think it will look very little princessy!

Yeah - finally have time to post!

First off - I am EXHAUSTED! And I've had a dull headache since about 11pm last night when the ringing in my ears finally stopped!

The concert was very good. The Jonas Bros. are adorable and very entertaining - they played for two hours! Yes, there were ALOT of screaming girls - with things written all over their faces, arms, legs, and back of their shorts. Lauren had a blast and was jumping, dancing and screaming all night long - "Oh mommy - I just love Nick soooooooo much!" (Oh brother!:rolleyes1 )

Weather held up well also. All afternoon, it was really storming and there were tornado warnings!:scared1: We got on the road at 4pm; started driving and the weather started to clear. We actually made it to the concert by 4:45. I was shocked we got there so quickly. It did start drizzling by the time we had parked the car, so we had our little picnic in the back of my ex's truck. It was fun. Thankfully, by the start of the show, the rain was done and it was a nice comfortable night. Demi Lovato was the opening act - UGH! She was awful; just constant screaming and we didn't know any of her songs. So the JoBros. didn't come on until 8:50; played until 10:45; and we didn't get out of the parking lot until 12:45am. Yes, it took us a whole TWO HOURS to get out. What a mess. We didn't get home until 1:30am and then had to get up for tennis this morning.

And, for the record, I endured this concert w/out the benefit of alcoholic beverage! (Well, I did have two Mike's Hard Lemonades during our picnic beforehand; but beer was $8 a cup inside. :sad2: I'll post pix once I get the battery on my camera charged. Bet you all are dying to see them!

I know I missed alot of posts; I'll try to catch up.........................

Renee - the picture of your neice is precious! So much hair!:cutie: Congrats! And, it goes without saying, your two little bundles - beautiful!

I'm happy to see we have another control freak on board for our trip - yeah Tammie! I agree, though, for the short amount of time we're going to be there, I'd prefer to stay on property also.

Kara and Renee - I can't weigh in with opinions are your redecortating and gardening projects. I'm clueless, and quite frankly, the two of you are making me feel like quite the loser because I never take on projects like that!

Pam - I gave up on those 100 calorie packs a long time ago. Not only are they not worth it; but they taste like cardboard!:scared:

Wait just one minute!!! They sold beer at a Jonas Bros concert??? Seriously? Now I know you're all thinking, there goes Kara to get tickets to see the Jonas Bros! :rotfl2: But seriously, that's not right!!!

Honey - they sell beer at Disney on Ice!

But, yep, beer and wine were sold. The vendors aren't stupid; they know a lot of parents are being dragged there by their kids; might as well give them something to make the event more tolerable!

Oh, yeah, I forgot - I think I was at the front of the line at Disney on Ice! :rotfl2: And the circus....

I'm here with Nicolas and his friend from Boston - man, I'm about ready to ship them both COD to Cammie! :rotfl2:

I am going out to eat tonight, I generally only get one drink - tonight I"m having at least TWO - maybe THREE - we'll see how the next hour goes. This little boy is a mess. No manners. I realize I'm from the south, but my kid has known how to say please and thank you for a long time. All I'm hearing is a lot of hitting, yelling, and just plain WTH? :sad2: I honestly think it is amazing how much difference there is in our kids. :sad2:

I had to stop on my project before I finished. The kids would be all over my machine - and I'm not sharing that toy! :rolleyes1 :lmao: :rotfl2:

Cammie - I'm glad the concert went well. I wish your EX would stop helping you out. It is making it hard for me to want to wish him his nad kicking :snooty: I am glad that he did help you guys out and that you had a good evening! The picnic before hand sounded really cool! You are such a cool mom!

I stuck the kids in under a homemade movie theater. (AKA my quilt draped around the TV/Chair/Couch. I am daydreaming about being able to tie it up (kiddos inside) like a bag. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I think I've been watching too much STITCH with Nicolas!!!!!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I've bought beer at the circus!:thumbsup2

Cammie & Kara :
So, I think the challenging game for you girls to play is where have you NOT bought drinks!

;) :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Pam:
We're definately a match on the drink speed. Then again - like you - one is usually enough! :thumbsup2

Where did I mention my ex helping me out? He didn't pay for the tickets!;)

No, if you're talking about me using his truck - I have to. The weekends he takes the girls, he has to take my van because it's wheelchair accessible; and I have to use his LandRover. I hate that thing! It's too trucky for me and on top of that he has - no exaggeration - FOUR Nascar stickers pasted all over the rear window!

Hey Everyone

Renee- Love the new desk- Your pkg was just returned to me I didn't put enough postage 3 cents away :rotfl:

Kara- Glad to see your computer is saved. We missed you.

No One ever text pages me ;)

Hope all is well my Brother and his girlfriend have decided to join us for our trip I am pricing out things now.

Hi Jillian & Pam - looks like we are all on at the same time!

Jillian - where have you been? Been missing hearing from you. How is your cousin doing with the pregnancy?

I haven't been around becuase we have been running errands for her shower this Sunday. She is good thank you for asking. They think she will go to term :woohoo: I have been super busy w/ the Badookie being summer and all. I also have been trying to organize this house :scared1:

Kara- I am going to upgrade our tickets this trip to annual passes. My 1st ever WOO HOO!!!!

Cammie & Kara :
So, I think the challenging game for you girls to play is where have you NOT bought drinks!

Hmm, never had a drink at church - oh, yes I have, Communion!
Never had a drink at a funeral - oh yes I have, at the house afterwards!
Never had a drink at a 1st bday party - oh yes I have, we served at Ally's 1st bday!
Never had a drink at... oh to heck with it!!! :rotfl2:

Where did I mention my ex helping me out? He didn't pay for the tickets!;)

OMG! From living in SC for 14 years, and now I live an hour from Daytona - y'all would fit right in!!!

So I'm posting on my PTR and I see on FoxNews that John Edwards is now admitting an extra-marital affair during the last election campaign. And here I was feeling sorry for him and his wife as she battles cancer... :sad2:

I watch way too much news during the day - whatcha wanna know???

So tonight is date night. My cheapo hubby is taking me to the clubhouse to use our $50 gift card we won playing Bingo at the pool back in March! Yes, I said Bingo. And no, it's not a retirement village I live in! Just thought I'd make that clear before some smarta$$ asks (Renee!). :rotfl2:

Then we're going over to the cabana bar by the pool and using some free drink certificates we have! That Jeff, he's a big spender!!!! :lmao:
