Man, you do need help.......there is no breakfast in Germany! I mean, I'm sure Germans eat breakfast, but not the ones in Epcot!:rotfl:
:rotfl2: I did mean Norway. Norway, Germany, it is all the same. :confused3 :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Renee - are you thinking breakfast at Akershus in Norway? Those crazy Europeans, always getting them confused! :rotfl2:

Also, I think Carlos would love Le Cellier - wonderful!!!! And if y'all want to take the kids one night to whichever kids club they have at BC (since I'm betting that's where you'll be staying!), you could wander over to Flying Fish - to die for!!! Or really anyplace in Epcot that strikes your fancy.

Also, California Grill while the fireworks are going off is great, too.
WELL, so here is one of my wacko things, but I'm too much of a control freak, Kara. My kids have never had a sitter - outside the neighbor girl being a moms helper twice last year for Nicolas - and my my mom watching them sometimes - that is it, so we'd have them with us wherever we go.

I'm not so sure he'd like the french food - or me either. Everything is so saucey. I dunno...

OK, goofball, no French food at Le Cellier - it's Canada!!! Norway/Germany - France/Canada - boy, we need to get you an atlas! :rotfl2: Le Cellier is a steakhouse and it's wonderful!

Renee REALLY needs our help!:lmao:

I'm thinking if hubby likes his beer, he may enjoy dinner in Germany. There's an oompah band and a dance floor - kids would like that. Personally, I wasn't crazy about the food; but man, does that place get praised on these boards!

I'm not sure she'd like the flamenco dancers in Germany!:rotfl2:

Sorry, Renee, I couldn't resist!

Ah, see somebody's busy being a smart a$$ while I was out....:rotfl2: :cool1:

:lmao: :rotfl: WELL, that one is deserved because unlike the just typo/I knew better with Norway/Germany, uh, the Le Cellier was I really thought it was the French joint. I hate French food honestly - so I was wondering why everyone always raived about it. :confused3 :rotfl: Oopsy!

I had thought that too, but we went to a German pub once, and let's just say he was not impressed. Good beer isn't that hard to find - and he actually enjoys a lot of ales, but the sitting together would put him off, as the whole scene mixed with food he has deemed "gross"...ehhh. He's the shy type too, so I don't know about that.

I'm not sure she'd like the flamenco dancers in Germany!:rotfl2: VERY FUNNY. Hey, I heard if you use your golf cart in an electrical storm, you'd be safe and sound as long as you are holding a BIG umbrella! :confused3 :rotfl:

Okay Cammie - went to the grocery, very planned, following your adapted suggestion - two days at a time. No stress, small ticket, using things I have on hand - got stuff for Lasagna/Spagetti ;) and then some Chicken Baked Chicken one night/Chicken Fried Rice the next... I'm going to see how this goes. Call me a dummy but I never considered just cooking a couple times a week and kinda making enough for a couple meals from it. :thumbsup2 Can't wait to see the saving this week!:lmao:

I think we are doing sandwiches tonight. Our grocery always loads the kids on cheese and lunchmeat while they are cutting, so honestly doubt they will eat much tonight. Plus the weather is really nice out and I thought a nice walk while Nicolas rides his bike would be good. Then I have to clean for our playdate tomorrow. Luckily just light cleaning. :woohoo:

PS - I am admitting I need lots of help with the ADRs. All we did last time (and all I know about are the Char meals). I am a wealth of knowlege on that if you remove all the girly ones! :rolleyes1

Good luck Renee - you're off to a good start!

And regarding your ADRs, just ask for opinions - you know we're not shy around here!;)

I tried the French restaurant in Epcot for the first time this last trip. I really enjoyed it! It's a pretty restaurant; they have a little bit of everything; and even though it all has a french name, it's common food. Lauren had chicken fingers and plain pasta - was something very "French-sounding" on the menu. I had the duck, which was delicious; but they also had beef, seafood, chicken. You can't go wrong w/ the wine and dessert selection. And that wait staff they got there is pretty easy on the eyes!

I also love LeCellier - great steaks; Rose & Crown - very friendly staff and love the fish & chips (good beer too!); Japan has a fun restaurant - but you sit w/others; I hear Italy is good but way-overpriced.

And those are my opinions on Epcot - I have so many more for the rest of the parks and resorts! (if you stay at BC, you should try The Yachtsman -- soooo good!)

Good tips yet again! I was thinking of EPCOT/BW area for the end of the days, except maybe the day we go to MK for fireworks (I'm doing it the next time:snooty: ) and we might do Ohana or Chef Mickey's for dinner that night - or Crystal Palace - I still think their dinner was better than CM's hands down. Probably Ohana though. Anyway, the rest of the time, I'd like to stay close to the BW area.

Hey- have you noticed how Carlos hasn't "decided" yet, but I'm all over the BC. :dance3:

Okay, I'm officially going...

But firrrrrst....

Spill it Cammie - what theme did you end up with today for the Party?

!
I just sat this up as our background on the computer. Too obvious? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And, BTW - our Super Target sells beer by the bottle (no TN jokes Kara) where you can make your own 4 pack out of them or buy them by the piece (they have a lot of the ones on the list). Nice when trying new beer. At $1.50 each, I thought it was pretty reasonable. FYI - cause I have walked past it so many times and missed it completely!

So many posts, so many replies........

I agree, think Crystal Palace, or 1900 PF is better than dinner at CM's - although I do like the character interaction there. Just over-priced, IMO.

And do you know, I've never seen the whole Wishes! Shameful!

I loved the Drinks Around the World! I swear, I'm printing it out and taking it with me in Nov.

As for Amanda's party, I ordered a Tinkerbell cake and Lauren came with me today to pick out the Tink party decorations. She thinks it's very cute! I think Amanda will too!:goodvibes

As for pricing, if you do DDp, price is not an issue at TS restaurants, which is why we don't do a lot of character meals. Jeff's all about getting the most bang for his buck, and buffets don't do it for him. That's why we're doing Raglan Road, Chefs de France, and Tutto Italia in September. He's a food snob! :lmao:

I know what you mean about PUblix loading up on meat and cheese when you order - I never knew they did this until a couple of weeks ago. I love the service at Publix, just hate the high prices!

OK, off to eat - it's storming like a mother bear right now! Grilled chicken salads with toasted sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, gorgonzola cheese, mandarin oranges. Yum!

Good grief - you're SUCH a Martha!:lmao:

We, on the other hand, are having hot dogs!:snooty:

Love it! So you know, I sat the background of the computer to the lovely Epcot Beers CArd. Want to know what I get in return? I sit down to have the T-total $hit scared out of me by this...

let me see if there is some way to paste it in...

ugly_dog

See - isn't he one sicko???? EHHH! You'd think I was living with someone who was in college! He had it all stretched out on the Desktop too, so you can imagine how that was, opening the computer and seeing that picture! He keeps telling me he'd love to put me on scare tactics. I"m do not enjoy being scared, scarey movies, none of that, but he thinks doing things like this to me are funny! NOT FUNNY!

At this point I just want to know where is the girliest place to eat at WDW and tell him to suck it up for that nasty dog picture!!! For that matter, he is going at LEAST 4 nights!!!!!

He thinks he is being funny. He keeps teasing Nicolas that we are getting a dog with big sharp teeth. I guess that picture came up when he was googleing pictures to tease Nicolas with. MEN!
