I'll All neat and organized. If I didn't know better, I'd think I was Kara.

Trust me, I am far from "neat and organized!"

We are on Air Tran and if it wouldn't be 7 of us going, I don't think I would worry too much. We also have an awesome flight down, non stop leaving at 8 am, so we can be in the parks no later than 1 pm. I just keep thinking too good to be true.

I think AirTran seems to be pretty stable right now - you should be in good shape. BTW, the best flights I've ever taken have been AirTran! Oh, and

Hey gang I'm back!

I was temporarily down with a summer cold, but I'm back. Hope everyone has some amazing plans for 4th of July! We just found out we all have from July 3 -7th off, however there's no $$$ in order to plan a trip. Plus airfare is OUT OF CONTROL!! It would cost more than the Disney trip in order to get down there. It would be cheaper to create a teleporter in my backyard then fly down to Disney. Why are these oil and gas people doing this to the economy!!

Well I'll be here in my pool with the girls watching my parent's dog while they run to springfield, MA to party with friends. If I'm lucky DH will let me start drinking mudslides before the fireworks!!

Kara - Good luck with the guests today. Hope you get some quiet time!

Lauren is leaving with her father today to go down to NYC for a few days. She'll be back on Thurs. We really have no plans for the 4th. My sister wanted us to come down to her but the 5th is Amanda's birthday (14! ) and I just like to have her celebration in my own house. Family won't be coming up until the 18th because no one wants to travel over the holiday weekend. Looks like we just may be having a small party with friends - which is fine with me - I'm still recovering from our trip; don't know if I would have been able to throw a big party just yet.

We got Amanda some really cute things from WDW. The biggest thing is a stuffed Mickey Mouse that you plug your Ipod into - the music comes out a speaker and he moves to it. It's soooo cute!

we are leaving on september 13th from baltimore. I live in PA, but Baltimore is the closest airport to us. It'll take 1 hour to get to Baltimore 2 hours on the plane, and I am hoping 1 hour to get from the MCO to Port Orleans. I guess that is my biggest worry, what happens if Magical Express looses my stuff? Oh great another thing to worry about.

Just remember to pack an overnight bag to carry with you on the plane! Make sure you have your sunscreen, anything for the parks, swimsuits, etc in there. That way you are at least set for the rest of the day just in case!

Thanks, we will have everything packed. I need to make sure that I have everything done. My Wife works crazy hours and she has already said that the week before we leave she will not have any time to help out so I am on my own.

Oh, the drama!

I emailed my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago and told her that to use our pool, guest MUST be accompanied by members UNLESS you buy a week long pass for $20 per person. Note: It's like a mini water park - really awesome! So they're strict about that so that people don't try to come in that don't live here. Anyway, she said they'd just do the day by day ($3 per guest after we run out of free guest passes) when we go up there.

So up they get this morning and put their suits on for the pool. I'm like, you can't use the pool unless we're with you and I have to work today. So she asks me, "isn't it worth a phone call to see if they'll make an exception?" How ballsy is that???? Especially after I told her the rules before they ever came! I thought they were going to the beach today or down to St. Augustine. I talked to the rec director and he made it happen for me, but still, the nerve of some people!!!

Cammie, y'all sound like us - I just check out the food porn thread and I see all your snacks on there - does the DDE include Goofy's and the bakery? I really think we're gonna buy that in November when we go.

Oh, and we had more "guests" last night - a TON of tree frogs all over our back porch - on the windows, doors, everywhere!!!! I want my screen back!

Kara - First of all........

EWWWWWWW!!!!!!!on the frogs!

Second, that was pretty nervy of your houseguests to put you in that position. Did they ever leave you alone for a little while today?

And, lastly, unfortunately, the DDE card is accepted at very few CS locations - it's mostly for TS; so, no, couldn't use it at Goofy's or the Bakery. I think the only CS you can use it at are the ones in AK; it can also be used at lounges throughout the resorts.

Houseguests finally left for the pool around 10:30 and just called - they're heading to the store then back. At least I had most of the day to myself. Whew!

But I had two lizard episodes today. First one Bucky saw the minute he ran outside. Then it ran off the patio into the mulch and he tried to find it. Then just a minute ago I took him out and he saw one on the pillar and chased it all over the porch until "Lucy" finally hid from him. I swear, the day he gets one and kills it and I have to clean it up...... Well, I'm sure y'all will hear all about it !

OK, here's some pics of the back patio. Where the pillars are, there used to be a screen in place there. They ripped out the screen, put pavers on top of the concrete that was the porch, and extended out another 11 feet. Once the kitchen gets built, they'll screen in the whole thing. I really miss my screen right now! A zillion frogs last night, 2 lizards today, plus lots of bugs! They aren't even done with the pavers either - they still have to put the sand in and then seal it. So who knows when that will happen!

You can actually see where they ripped the screen down - it tore off some of the stucco that they have to repair. I swear - we gave them our money 5 weeks ago and it was supposed to be a 4-6 week project!!! It's gonna be more like 8-12 weeks at this rate!

I know - I think it's going to be awesome once it's done though. And at least they got the pavers done before our friends got here. Actually, they were just cleaning up on Saturday as our friends arrived. So we've been able to sit out there at night with our drinks.

I just hope they go somewhere tomorrow. I made it perfectly clear to them that I had to work Mon-Wed while they were here. "oh, no problem... we'll find stuff to do...." Yeah, right.

Yes, I figured it out. I took your suggestion and went over to the Tech.board; looked around and found some posts that lead me in the right direction. Yea me!

I do need to do my next installment for my TR. I didn't realize how time consuming each post can be! I seriously need an hour to myself to write and grab pix. Hopefully tonite, I'll wrap up our first night! Thanks for following along. My biggest fear was that I would have no readers!

Brainerd was nuts. I swear it was shorter to fly to FL than to drive to up North. It's a 2.5 hr drive straight thru but with little ones it always clocks in at 3.5 hrs. FL is 4 hr flight. Hmmm do you so something wrong with that. The weather was beautiful. We got out the boat every day. Beth is planning her next trip and how she will swing from the rope swing on the island. She is my daredevil.

The level 3 offender is not moving in. The quote was "circumstances have changed". Don't know what that means but I know it is good for me that he won't be living near me. Now I just have to worry about the rest of the weirdos that don't have lables.

Gotta run Tim will be home from Canada soon. The house is a pit. I need to make it look somewhat presentable.

I know my peeps over here like reality TV so I have to ask if anyone has seen the "Baby Borrowers" on NBC. It may not be trashy enough for Debbie and Kara, but it is hysterical! They have five teenage couples (not married, just dating) who think they are ready to have a baby. They move them into their own house and then people LEND them their children to care for!

It's on Wed.nights; the premiere episode is re-running at 8; followed by a new one at 9pm. Check it out if you remember. Their advertising: It's not a tv show; it' birth control!

Well, did you ever have one of those days????????????
I sure did! I agreed to meet my bestfriend today at her new workplace. It's one of those big fancy office buildings with the man-made ponds with a fountain. She said her cafeteria was great and kid friendly so we just ate there. We sat by the window and after we ate my best friend promised Elizabeth she could go walk by the pond....
So we are walking down this cute Little path and we are like "oh, look cute baby swans...oh look at the Mommy and Daddy swan oh LOOK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The swan bit my Elizabeth!!!!!!!! He literally charged us as we were walking away and bit her! You should see the bite mark on my poor baby's arm! I felt so bad the kids were completely freaked out. I blamed myself for even going by the dumb thing when I should have known better and now my kids will be traumatized for life! It all happened so fast but in slow motion. Thank God he didn't bite her face. What a disaster!

Debbie! Holy crap!!! Did it break the skin? Is she okay? Seriously? I know they can be very protective around their babies. We have geese here that are the same way. I avoid them like the plague! Make sure you get some good antibacterial on that - who knows what they may carry, ya know? And of course lots of TLC. Poor baby!!!

Just a quick fly by but wanted to check in - made pizza for dinner tonight then took the kids to putt putt and ice cream. Now kids hopping in bed, and my girlfriend is mixing yet ANOTHER drink! Been drinking since they got home at 3:30. And this is every night since they got here. Her husband takes care of the kids. It's crazy! I'll share some good stories later....

Kara- Your friend is just unbelievable . I cannot believe someone has the nerve to act like that. I would not be extending another invitation so fast.

Cammie- I did see you over in the Alcohol board and the dining Love the pics. I did see baby borrowers and it just stressed me out to no end I couldn't stand watching those babies cry it made me want to reach thru the TV and scoop them up and comfort them.

Debbie- I cannot believe that happend to your poor baby. They are so protective over their babies they had a warning about it in our newspapers here because there are so many of them.

Renee- Where are you?

Laura- I am so happy to hear about that "thing" moving in. I would still keep the alarm that is just me. Maybe he has family he was going to move in with and will still be visiting.

Not much happened here today my wisdom teeth are coming in and it hurts. I was running a little fever today I have to have these things out. I actually took 2 naps today. Mike will be working ALOT this week and I will need that strength to deal with Badookie all week by myself also I am watching my 2 cousins tomorrow 4 and 1.5 that should be fun .

Thank You for thinking Badookie is so cute. I love sharing pictures because he is too funny.
