Actually, I think they're coming back to it after this bit of news on the senator indicted.....

I'll make Nicolas a passport before you go....
:worship:

DD called from cheer camp last night. She's hating it. Says it's no fun at all & basically is wanting it to get over with. YIKES..
I hope it gets better!

OH! I have one of THOSE! I have one of each of those!! Darrin's sister is awful, and I am not allowed to be an aunt to her 3 kids. My brother has been married for 2 years, and my neice is 6 mos. old, and I love that SIL to pieces!!I know. I just wish we lived closer to her. That drive was a PITA. Flying it is. (note to self - need to get drugs

OK - you mean the boys give you more of a run for your money than the girls? Most of our good friends have girls. I haven't had much experience w/the little boys. A good neighbor friend has a 3 yr old boy, and when he comes over, it's like a tornado when thru our house!
You know, he isn't that bad. Mia is the demanding/expensive one. Nicolas gets fixated on things. Last year - cars. This year, Lilo and Stitch. He becomes quite the collector. Lord help me with the lanyards. :sad2:

Renee - What is this presentation book, and who are you giving it to, presenting it for? I agree w/Kara on the afternoon parades. That is one of my favorite times at WDW, when we park ourselves on the curb for a front row seat on Main Street in MK over an hour before parade time, and take turns going in and out of the shops, then get an ice cream and popcorn right before the parade. Why can only guys ride Test Track?!:snooty: Just wondering?:confused3
My husband does Pitch Books for his clients. Doesn't want to go to WDW at all, so I told him I'd make him a pitch book for WDW (just joking) well, he liked the idea, so I'm working on my presentation so we can decide where to stay/what to do. I'm goofy like That.

Renee - What is PECOT and HDS??
Kara's right, I was goofing off on the fact that I've made some major oopsies on things. Like the princess breakfast in Germany, etc. :rolleyes1 I just live to keep Kara in stitches

Pam, that is "Reneespeak" for Epcot and DHS! You have to excuse our Renee - she's a bit
5.gif
but we love her anyway. Sshh! She's quite sensitive, too....
:rotfl2: Aren't we funny today, Kara. I'm about to retract a USPS package! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Ya know I'm kidding Renee!!! Love ya girl! :flower3:
Oh, I know. I'm just an easy target. I know someone else like that... :rolleyes1

OK, no ToT for you, but you must encourage Carlos to ride it! It's great!!! Chicken! :rotfl2: BOCK BOCK, BABY! BOCK BOCK!

And the more that Ricky Ricardo enjoys WDW, the sooner you'll go back!!! ;)
:thumbsup2 That is the plan

Be honest, Kara - the furthest you got into any country in Epcot was the drink carts set up in front!:rotfl:
:rotfl2 and that was only if she didn't have her sunglasses on her anniversary. RIGHT BACK AT YOU KARA!;)

Renee - I agree with all of Kara's suggestions. But you shouldn't be surprised - you do realize the two of us are in cahoots together!:lmao:

One thing, though. I've heard the new parade at DHS is disappointing; it kind of just stops and street performers come out. Sounds lively, but just not like a typical parade.I kinda thought that from the You Tube video I saw. I mean, if you weren't in a section that really was your "it" when it stopped... :confused3 We followed Kara's suggestion and did the 3pm parade in MK. Nicolas loved it. I think we will try Spectro next time too.

Ok, as I sit here, I'm thinking Lauren's fish is dead. It has been laying at the bottom of the bowl all morning. I thought fish float to the top if they're dead?EWWWW!
:scared:

WE'RE HAVING FISH TONITE!!!!!!
(JK)You are SO WRONG! :rotfl2: :lmao:

OK girls, I've taken the plunge.......starting my first pre-trip report. Here's the link:

So, yes, you all have ANOTHER thread to subscribe to!
Good grief:lmao: , and exactly what does subscribing do? I subscribed to your last one, but I still had to find my bookmark and go in.

Pam you're cracking me up - you weren't kidding when you said that you're hooked, huh???

Not that I can talk, I'm on here non-stop!!! It makes it too easy when I sit in front of a computer all day......:rolleyes1 Nah, Kara's just looking for an excuse not to work. :cool1:

Anyone following that story on Caylee Anthony, the little girl from Orlando that was missing 31 days before the mother reported it? That mother needs to stay in jail, in fact, they need to transfer her to a max security prison with the really bad people, and let her deal with that. She makes me sick. I'm watching these and listening to these tapes of her from jail, and she doesn't seem the least bit upset that her daughter is missing!!! And the grandmother! First she calls 911 and says that her daughter's car smells like a dead body, now she'd defending her??? She needs to share a cell with her daughter. Sorry, needed to vent....
That story is so messed up. ITA about the max security. I honestly believe that if someone did it on ACCIDENT, no punishment on earth would be as bad as what they would do to themselves. I see these parents, and they seem so removed. You know that something is fishy

Sorry Cammie - no pun intended.

Well my kids ruined the whole morning getting in trouble...I mean do I have to watch them every second of their lives..
Cereal and water in several bowls all over the house....
After I got over being mad I set the pool up in the backyard but they won't go in it! They are just playing around it...strangee kids!

This story IS horrible! Keep me updated.

The only one I can sort of understand is the dad that never took the baby to daycare, and one morning his wife couldn't do it, and he just plain forgot. The baby was sleeping in the back, and he was so programmed into his routine. I saw the couple on Oprah way back, and bless her heart but as they both sat there and cried, she never blamed him. Talk about a strong woman and a strong marriage. It was heartbreaking to watch.

So sad.....
I almost CAN understand some things now that I am a Mom and I try not to judge but how horrible!

I just read there might not be any more characters at LTT an GG...:confused3

As much as I love them, I tell my girls on almost a daily basis (well, w/Taylor, it might be a daily basis), that they drive me insane, and that I am just waiting for the men w/the white coats to come and take me away.

I know that is terrible. It is usally followed by, "but I love you more than life", or "but you are my life and I am so thankful for you!", because I feel guilty for saying that, but the words just come out BECAUSE IT IS SO TRUE!!!

Exactly! ITA ( I totally agree)

Thanks for the translation, Debbie! Someone used PITA, and I had to read over that one several times before I got it!!

I'm so ready to go home, to drive for 30 mins, go into Sam's and Walmart to get a few necesseties (yuck!), then go home, fix dinner, go to work out...

I am trying to be better about fixing dinner - even if it's something easy like soup and sandwiches (last night) and frozen tortellini w/salad mix and frozen garlic toast (tonight). We got into the bad habit of me just picking something up on the way home.

When did I become in charge of dinner? Uggh! I could eat cereal or PB&J most nights!!

Yeah..we are grilling again and trying to do a regular dinner when I can.

We have also done better about eating at home. I swear, y'all, it all started when Debbie proposed that pantry challenge! It so works, and it gets me a little creative too!

So tonight Ally wanted to go to 5 Guys Burgers & Fries for dinner. I had horrible stomach pains, cramps but not PMS cramps. She really wanted to go so I suffered through it. Then we got her a couple of outfits at Justice, two pairs of shoes, then on to Home Depot. I was determined to get these big plants, they kind of look like big thick monkey grass, with really tall purplish blue flowers that shoot out, with big blooms that remind me of hydrangeas. I have no idea what they're called, but I bought 5, then rearranged a bunch of monkey grass, and azaleas, and put the new plants out by the patio. It looks really good. I'll try to take some pics in the morning and post.

I was sooo hot and sweaty that I came straight in to shower, and then my neighbor showed up to pick up the turtles we were watching for them while they were in Disney. They were so sweet and brough me a really pretty Mickey frame, and picked up some lip gloss and a notebook for Ally from Justice. So cute.

They said they never waited more than 10 minutes for anything. I think they must be exaggerating though - even with FP, the attractions that don't take FP would be much longer lines in July, I would think?

OK, I'm missing Big Brother now, so I've got to run - later!

Debbie, what's with the Over 40 email? What makes you think I'm over 40? :rolleyes1 I've got many more good years at 29! :rotfl2:

Just quick check in to say hi and bye!

Went down to Amanda's school tonite. Her class put on a production of "Footloose" and I took her in so she could participate. She had a big part afterall - the Sara Jessica Parker role, Rusty. It was so cute! God bless the staff there - they do such a good job. Then my girls and I went out to a new Italien restaurant that opened in our area - Paparazzi. Sooo good! Had smoke salmon w/peas and bowtie past in a cream sauce - all non-fat of course!:rolleyes1 (something tells me I may regret eating that later!)

Good night ladies!

Yeah, I'm still here, I have no place else to go..... maybe it's just that nobody else will put up with me! :lmao:

Cammie, that sounds so yummy! Sounds like something that Italian Market used to have?

Seems every thread I'm subscribed to keeps adding posts tonight!!!!

When our girls make us crazy we always say to each other ' You go to jail if you kill your children' that usually stops the two of us from going crazy.

Karajeboo - about your stomach cramps - do you have IBS? I've suuffered from your symptoms and it's not pleasant.

I've just found the show Eureka and honestly I love it! Does anyone else watch this show?

Tina - it was definitely IBS symptoms tonight. I'll spare you the details, but I think it must have been something I ate earlier today or yesterday. Not a pretty night.

The only thing that drives me nuts with Ally is that she absolutely cannot be quiet. She's either talking or singing. To us or to herself. It drives me nuts!!! I have to stop myself form yelling, "shut up!!!" cause of course that expression is a no-no in our house. But I swear, she drives me nuts!

But like y'all have already said, I can't imagine life without her. :cloud9:

Can someone tell me about the pantry challenge? Debbie?? I need all of the help I can get! I despise fixing dinner after being away from home from 7/7:30-5:30/6ish. Then, there's the clean up. Uggh! I have trouble coming up w/simple ideas, things that keep us from eating and cleaning up so late!

We love Justice, too. I am about back-to-school shopped out for a little while. I hope to not have to do any this weekend.

Yum! Italian food! We had Italian, if you can call it that! Frozen tortellini w/canned sauce, frozen garlic toast and a Caesar salad kit. A home cooked meal!!!:rotfl2:

I do not watch Eureka or Big Brother. I have been watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager (or something like that!) w/Megan. We are liking it! The girls and I watched seasons 1-6 of Gilmore Girls a while back, but I never watched the 7th season! I loved it so much and think that I did not want it to end and see the outcome of some of the relationships. I need to watch it. The girls did!

'Night all!
:grouphug:
Pam2

They said they never waited more than 10 minutes for anything. I think they must be exaggerating though - even with FP, the attractions that don't take FP would be much longer lines in July, I would think?

Depends -- maybe they did TourGuide Mike. I know we went right after July 4th in 2005 and I really don't remember waiting more than 10-15 minutes for anything. We didn't do a lot of the "really" big rides though.

Of course, you could always have the fun experience we did at ToT -- DD's first ride *EVER* at Disney, she was told by others it's not that bad. We get in line are near the boarding area and an announcement of "I need a party of 2" from the CM -- I shot my hand up so fast (since it was only DD & I riding) -- next thing you know we are strapping in to the FIRST ROW. So we got on that ride *SUPER* quick -- basically so quick we didn't have much time to think about it.

I'm such a good mom -- my kid is screaming in terror & I'm laughing my head off. NOT at her. I screamed the first drop too (but took my glasses off so couldn't see a THING) -- there were these guys behind us that kept laughing, so then I ended up laughing since it wasn't too bad after the first drop (they screamed at the first drop too & then bust out laughing from it, it was just hilarious and it gave me the giggles). DD just screamed. She still does NOT like elevators to this day. OOPS. She did love the Rockin' Rollercoaster though.

I think the longest we waited for anything was the Talking to Crush since it was a show & we had to wait until the previous show let out.
