Back from our little jewelry party. SO.. Guess who is back on the diet sauce? Here's what happened. I'm chunky, we all know that. Size 14 (some 16 tops) so, all the others, I dunno 8-10 tops. WELL, the jewelry seller lady puts jewelry when you come in. During the show, she talks about "FADS" and how to look 30 lbs lighter. WELL, the trick is to have a long linear line, so long necklaces are good. OH YEAH, you guessed it. She gave just about everyone a nice choker. I got the fat cow one that came six inches from my belly button. That was REALLY fun! Sitting there as she was talking, realizing I had the by far longest one.

SO.. I'm totally going to lose some of this weight. I'm tired of being the fatty of the group.

Seriously Renee, I'm right there with ya. When that paramedic came to give us our exams, he pulled out his scale and I about fell out!!! I have officially gained back 15 of the 20 lbs I lost last year! Makes me soooo mad!

I feel much better today - except the workers woke me up at 7:15 this morning working on the back kitchen!!!! Jeff was out the door around 6:30 this morning, so in a way it's good that these guys showed up or I'd still be snoozing!

Becky, wow, I didn't know the lines were that short in July! My neighbors didn't do TGM or anything like that. This was a very last minute trip and I gave them as much info as I could. They said it helped them out a lot...

Awww, thank you! I feel, well, OLD!!!!

And I'm pretty sure that Jeff does not even know it's my bday! He hasn't said a word all week, and he was gone early today. Which means that Ally doesn't know. His mom will probably call today to remind him it's my birthday. So sad.

OMG!!! Almost forgot - I had a DIS dream last night! It was all messed up though. I was somewhere in Disney - I think at an AllStar resort (which I've never stayed at) and I saw a woman with long blonde hair, gold wire frame glasses, wearing a lime green tshirt, her husband looked my alter ego (72 year old man.....), wearing a lime green baseball cap, and the daughter was pushing a wheelchair of a girl wearing a lime green t-shirt, too. So I ran up to her and called her... ready for this? Erin! And she answered. Weird, huh?

OK, now I'm gone!

Okay guys I"m off too. I was checking out CLone Wars to see if Carlos should take the little guy. I think we may pass on it. PG rating, but I'm not sure exactly what that PG is made of. I think I'll wait until the parent review site I use shows information on what is exactly going on. He still doesn't know about death, and I'd liek to keep it that way for this year at least. I had to deal with those things at a young age and now I'm deathaphobic.

I've got a lot to do today too. I need to go to the store. AND GUESS WHAT? I realized that my sinus & Nicolas too have been all upset since about January. The END of December, I had our floors cleaned by ChemDry. I'm wondering if the chemicals they use have anything to do with it. As good as a reason as any I guess.

Pam, the pantry challenge Debbie proposed was to go as long as possible without buying anything for the pantry or the freezer. Try to use up all the stuff in your pantry and freezer and only buy fresh veggies and fruit, dairy, etc. I swear, in two weeks I only spent $75 at the grocery store! And my pantry looked great! I found I had 4 cans of cream of mushroom soup, 2 jars of spaghetti sauce, about 6 boxes of different kinds of pasta, plus all kinds of other garbage.

I use www.recipezaar.com all the time and I was able to find recipes to use the stuff I had. it was wonderful. So now I still do it every so often. I will purposely NOT go to the store and force myself to use whatever is in the pantry.

I use www.recipezaar.com all the time and I was able to find recipes to use the stuff I had. it was wonderful. So now I still do it every so often. I will purposely NOT go to the store and force myself to use whatever is in the pantry.

Cool! I've got to try it, and the pantry challenge! We took care of the fridge and freezer last week, when it went out, but my pantry - oh my!

My mom called to wish me a happy birthday and she talked to Ally, so Ally knows, but I'm 99% sure that Jeff has no clue. Usually we talk about it the week before, he asks me if I want a special dinner, etc. A couple of weeks ago I told him I want those sandals that have the interchangeable tops - can't think what they're called, and he said he almost got those for me for Christmas. But the subject of my bday hasn't come up again. So who knows? I'm not much into celebrating anymore anyway. After 21 what's to celebrate???

I am so there! Thanks, Renee! I'm w/ya on the protecting the kids from the bad stuff as long as you can. I was a lot more lax on that w/my second than my first, but I tried for as long as I could.

MEN! What would they do w/out us? It really is pitiful, and I have really been having strong feelings about that lately! Kara - you know it's all of them, or at least 99% of them. This AM, Darrin couldn't find a clean undershirt, and I find myself apologizing! WHY??? Don't even get me started...I am not a man hater, but geez - in my next life I am going to be born a man, because they have it so easy!!!! There! But they're so cute...(sometimes!) Just like the kids. Us, we're poifect!!

We celebrate that we are still on this earth!! That's pretty sad, isn't it?

I'm serious ladies - some days you all make me feel better about being divorced!

The funny thing is - since my divorce - I've found myself LESS stressed about things. When you're the only one around to take care of things, there's no one to get upset with about it not getting done. And you know that, because you're doing it yourself, it's getting done right!

People always ask me that - if I'd remarry again? I don't think I would (unless it was George Clooney doing the asking! ) It's sad, and I know I'm biased now because of the way my first marriage ended, but I say why bother? It's not worth the aggravation and all the trouble. I think I'd just like to date for the rest of my life. Now, if I could just start doing that.........

Hiya all - just popped in and you seem to have written a lot again!!!

Renee - I'm sure you are not the fatty of the group - I'm back over 200 again....... working on it, but lacking motivation!

Going to visit my mum this week, so will be off line for a while..... Why is it I know the first words she will say - "oh, you've put on some weight again then..." (she weighs 210 - wonder where I got it from?????) I can manage a week with her, but then I start tearing my hair out, so just doing 6 days this time... She can't get her head around the fact that my sister is miserable, thin and divorced, whilst I'm a happy fatty and married... for her weight and misery etc seem to go together

Will try to post some beach pics for comparison - probably be wearing sou'wester, oilcloth and Wellington boots, whilst leaning into the wind... nice beaches - always empty - wonder why

Anyhow got to go pack, might pop by again tomorrow, but that will be it for a while.....
