Wow! Where is everyone today???
We had some "beautiful" storms roll through last night - Jeff and I sat on the porch and just watched them - the worst of it passed away from us so we didn't get the really severe stuff, but it was nice and relaxing to watch, plus it cooled the temps down nicely.
It is soooo hot today! Depending on the local weather, they're reporting anywhere between 95 and 104 right now. Yuck! We went to the pool for a few hours earlier, then came back and napped. Now I'm getting ready to run to the store to get ready for the week.
So I got drapes hung in my kitchen yesterday, but couldn't pull the trigger on the fabric I wanted for the family room. And I"m really glad, because I found something I really like a lot better - I'm heading out to get it on Tuesday, if not before.
We also didn't make it to the nursery, but I know exactly what I want to do in the backyard, so I've got Jeff finding mulch this week, so we can get that laid each night this week, and I'll head out to pick up the plants I want. The Florida soil is very soft and sandy so I can dig out whatever I need. I don't have to wait for Jeff like I did with the hard clay in SC.
OK, off to shower and get moving!

) But I've go the whole patio lined with river rock and then mulched beds. I'm debating doing a big deck - I don't know. In the mean time, I'm thinking about putting down some type of rock instead of all that mulch. I'd need about 45 bags or 9 cubic feet just to do our back. It is a lot of bed...
Copied a lot - right down to where I put rugs, etc. TOO FUNNY - huh??? Except my bonus room -
and you know what a bang up job I've done up here on my own.
He has it in his mind that it will be He!! on earth - I just want to know who has been telling him this junk at work!
I just backed off. Let him settle a bit -get some strategy to try to clear all that up - because boy does he have the wrong idea.
We had a fun time, but it was very hot here also. Put out a slip n' slide and some water guns which kept the kids happy for a while. I'll try to post some pix later.
! I get so aggravated w/her and she claims it's no big deal. Yeah, well I told her to wait until the kids at school start calling her the smelly kid - then she'll care!
at that sorry excuse for a husband.
I was thinking that would be a good time to meet Kara
Beautiful cards, BTW! I definately don't have the time to be that creative!
I also got Mia a Tink costume for this year. It looked very thin - which is a good thing for Trick or Treating here. It is generally still very very hot!
I'll just go to the bonus features and show him the golf courses.
I think we're on our 6th set of the year at this point.
