Amanda is doing much better!:thumbsup2 Amazing what a morning in bed will do for that girl. I'm lucky I have the flexibility to just decide to keep her home when I think she needs it; couldn't imagine having a job outside the home. (I remind my ex of this ALL the time!)

Cammie - here is Kari's (rumblytumbly) photobucket with some great designs! http://s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb317/rumblytumbly_bucket/Family designs/?start=all

Also I found this that Michelle but I see that she's not taking requests right now! Maybe if you PM her she could make a quick change to one of these...

Ooooh, Debbie, yummy homemade pizza!!!!!

OK, remember the tiny scorpions I killed about a month ago? I think I found the mama! This thing was about 2 inches long and UGLY!!! It was 1/2 dead from the exterminator but still..... I squished it and left it for Jeff to clean up!

Thanks, Kara! Tammy had already directed me to rumbly's designs; I'm working on some - and learning as I go.

The Dutchess and Marie one you posted was the one I was talking about. I may make that. What is the transfer paper I should use. And, how do I flip it? Does that option come up when I print?

donatalie did this one - I'm sure she could change it up?

Epcot2.jpg

OK, when you save the pic, use your photo program to reverse image (I just do it in Paint) and then print onto the transfer paper. Just make sure you read the instructins because each brand is different. I like the HP brand the best. Make sure you wash and dry the shirt BEFORE you do the transfer and do NOT use bleach or fabric softener. Then just follow the instructions. I used the June Tailor brand for dark fabric on some and I've now washed and dried them like 3 times and they haven't cracked or faded at all! But they only look good on dark shirts, IMO.

Just watched Alvin and the Chipmunks with Ally. Yes, Alvin was my favorite when I was a kid. In fact, playing a version of the Newlywed Game in college (The Roommate Game) my roommate and I won on that question! Not that any of you would have lost sleep if you didn't know that...... :rotfl2:

OK, off to bed early tonight. Tomorrow is Ally's last day as a first grader! :worried: Where did the time go??? I swear I just took her to meet her kindergarten teacher! My mom always said that once the kids get to school, time goes even faster and she was soooo right!

Tomorrow I shall regale (I love that word!) you with another Bree moment!

It's me again! I have been getting these "welts" on my face, just my cheeks, every so often, ever since we moved here. They literally come out of nowhere, just 2 or 3 at a time, and then go away just as quickly. It's like an allergic reaction of some sort, but I have no idea!!! Right now I have one (about the size of a pencil eraser) that is raised and red. But if I leave it alone, it'll be gone in 10 minutes or so. Ever heard of anything like this?

I just read that PTR from the Dis Big Give. OMG! I was sobbing! I couldn't keep reading, there just are no words to express what she must be feeling, the whole family! She's so strong to even write about her loss. I may try to read more tomorrow.

Aw man! Ya beat me to it!

Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You!

Oh, how lucky you are to be 29! ;)

Well, I welted up pretty good last night. Still don't know what it was, but I'm keeping a food journal whenever it happens. Really weird!

Kara - I think I know what you're talking about; kind of like bumps - that you think may be a pimple but then it goes away within a few hours. I usually get them on my forehead and do think it's an alllergic reaction but have no idea to what!

Thanks for hunting down those designs for me. I figured out how to flip them; think I'll also see if I can get the Epcot one changed to Mom & Daughter. Tammy sent me the Walt Disney font so I'm hoping to personalize some shirts this weekend.

I'm so excited--my girlfriend who had moved to London for two years with her family is back in town for a few days. The family is moving back permanently on July 5th and she's trying to get some things ready. This is the family we stayed with last summer in Europe; she has a 12 yr.old that has know Lauren since they were three years old. They've stayed best friends all these years, in spite of the fact that the friend goes to a private school so they don't see each other very regularly. I was fortunate enough to hit it off with the mom too. Both Lauren and I have missed them soooo much! Anyway, she's coming for dinner tonite (and some wine, I'm sure!). We haven't seen her since the holidays so it will be fun to catch up.

It's a rainy, gloomy day here. Amanda is back to school, so I'm off to the gym in a little while. Later!

Oh I love that one! I think that is just what Cammie was looking for!

Love all the artwork.....

Kara -I'm on your side..... I love to use the breadmaker to make pizza dough too!! Trouble is now kids will eat homemade or out at PizzaHut not any others.... so pizza is no longer a "fast food" .

Tessa.

Thanks Kara! I tried to play with the other one you found, but I couldn't figure out how to get a castle in there - Lindsay had homework, so she wasn't able to help me.

Cammie, on printing reverse image, you can just print in the File on your toolbar and then when the box comes up for your printer program and you have the option to tell it how many, etc, you click on Preferences and choose Mirror image or Reverse image - each printer brand has their own layout of this, but it should have a place for "paper layout" and that's where you can choose it. It defaults back to normal afterwards.

If anyone else wants the Disney fonts, let me know - I think I have most of your addresses.

Kara, I wonder if there is a little bug that's biting you and you just react temporarily to it? I have had a few bug bites like that before. That's all you need, right? More bugs! Do-Do-Do-Do-Do-Do-Do! ::yes::

Oh, Tammie, don't say bugs in this house!!!! I was totally freaked out by the scorpion yesterday.

Here's my little friend, squished, but you get the idea.

And here's why we get so many critters! Our backyard...

And since I'm caught up now at work, I can play! So here is the "before" pic of our screened porch - they are ripping off the current screen and extending it out 11 feet with a screened top (we call it a "birdcage" screen).
rearelevation.jpg

Hmmm, don't know why that one is so small. Oh, well.

Tomorrow is Ally's first tooth filling. That should be fun! :rolleyes1 And then her followup appt at the ENT is Friday. We'll just hope for good news there.

:scared1: :scared1: Bugs!!!! :scared1: You know, we lived in Okinawa, which alot of Floridians told me was alot like home - I got used to dealing with giant bugs and snakes and lizards, etc. But I still wouldn't want one of those in my kitchen!

I can't wait to see how your porch comes out. I really want to put one off our bedroom some day. We would have to have the kind with storm windows and a woodstove here, though.

Hope Ally's appointments go well.

:bday:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
DEBBIE!!!!

:cake: :rainbow: :jumping1: :tiptoe: party: :dancer: :cheer2: :thumbsup2 :banana: :cool1: :woohoo: :dance3: :yay::drinking1

Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You!

Happy Birthday Debbie! :cake: :Pinkbounc

Hi Girls!!! Thank you for the birthday wishes and ecards!! You guys are the best and I do feel weird about how attached I am to all of you. Is it wrong??? I love you guys!!!!!!!

Cool designs! I love that stuff. I just hate how the iron ons wash. I wish I could have them sent out to be printed but then you can get in trouble for copyright.

Those welts sound like hives to me. I get them sometimes. Shellfish will do it to me if the iodine count is high in it. I also will randomly get them and not know where from. I wonder if they are spider bites though?? Is there a white dot in the middle that IS NOT puss? OMG TMI!

Cool pix! Can't wait to see it in person when I show up on your doorstep in January:rotfl2:

Hi Tessa! I love pizza in every way shape and form. Fresh, stuffed, cheap, frozen...you name it! I heard that you can't get good pizza by you. Is this true? Remember I am from Chicago where we are famous for our pizza!

Oh Tammie - I LOVE that design! Thanks so much for finding it! I do like it better because it has the castle. You guys are so great to go searching for me. I get over to that Design thread and my head starts spinning - :faint: !

I figured out the flipping; already flipped the Snow White design for Amanda. I'll try and figure out the downloading of the disney font later. I'm anxious to play and learn. Thanks for all the help! I have so much running around to do - and of course it's pouring out. I'm spending the day in and out of the car. YUCK!

Will check in later!
