Tammie - I just checked out that thread. So many cool things. You know what my problem is though. I'm kind of shy about asking! I can't believe these people that you don't even know take the time out of there day to create special requests! It's so nice! (like you guys!)

Debbie - yes, I think it is hives! No puss - yuck!!!!! Still so weird to pop up out of nowhere in the past few months.

Oh, I looooove Chicago pizza - I lived in Lombard for a year and we'd eat at Eduardos? Dos that sound right? Can't remember the name.

We love the solitude of the back yard, and seeing deer and wild turkeys (not the bottle! ) running through our yard. Haven't seen a snake in our lot.... yet.... but I know they are there!

Here's a pic of Bucky taken today - he's 8 months old and still growing! If his "friend" shows up later I really need to get a shot of them playing together. It's kinda cute. Ally named the lizards Lucy and Fred. She knows that Lucy is the greenish one and Fred is brown. I didn't have the heart to tell her that there are a gazillion Lucys and Freds in our yard!

My sweet baby is such a priss pot! He has to lay on a cushion so we pulled an old cushion from our patio furniture so he's comfy!

I still remember my sweet little puppy at Christmas! My, how the kids grow up so fast!

I just looked at Ally's report card. She got another "N" for Conduct (Needs improvement). Last quarter she got an "N" and they said she had been extremely chatty and they had to move her seat several time. But this quarter she has gottn all "green" marks for daily behaviour. If she's getting good marks each day for behavior, then how can she get a needs improvement for the entire quarter??? I hate her school! So I emailed the teacher and very kindly asked her. We'll see what kind of response I get.... if I even get one!

Cammie, glad you liked the design - they are so nice on the design boards - I think some people just love to create! Both of my DILs are like that.

Debbie, we liked Garica's Pizza in Rantoul! You're right, I haven't had anything as good since then - 27 years is a loooong time!

Tessa, how's your back doing? What are you and the girls doing during Summer Break?

Okay, gotta go! I forgot to pay the water bill and had to pay $110 on top of what we owed to get it turned back on today Having a bad memory costs you money! Maybe if I took time to take care of business instead of chatting with my friends on the DIS.... Na, won't happen!

Tammie - Yikes on the water bill! When I switched over to all online bill paying, I messed something up and they turned off our water, too. Ally was a baby then so I sang a sob story and they only charged us $25 to turn it back on AND then sent someone out at 9pm to turn it on! But that didn't happen with all the late fees I got charged from all the utilities and credit cards that didn't get paid that first month!

We're wanting to switch banks but because I do nearly everything online, I'm afraid of the hassle!

Cammie - I find it very hard to believe you'd be too "shy" to request a design! Just pretend it's the boys from the Nov hours thread and lay it on the line!

Happy Hump day everyone! I am so glad this week is almost over,but not glad it is going to be 90 degrees here on Sat and Sun.

Kara- Yucky Buggies Scorps are my scary bug I can handle spiders bees ants but NOT scorps. YUCK! By the way your puppy is just to darn cute.

Cammie- You must be getting so excited about your trip.

Kara and Cammie- Sunday will be our Off day and Sat is our Animal Kingdom day. So While the group is napping I can head over to EPCOT for a drink.

Well I think I need to go back to work at least part time. With gas prices and everything else going up I am really afraid of finances and I am NOT giving up my trip. I would like to work from home but wouldn't evern know where to get started. So I think is back to being and office coordinator at a DR's office or in a hospital. Being an EMT just isn't working right now. Maybe I should Nanny here at my house? Hmm Wouldn't know where to start with that either.

Renee must be away now that lucky duck. I will miss her

Hmm Well off to finish dinner I made French Onion soup tonight Yes From Scratch it is perfect for this crappy rainy day.

Hiya all -
the painful back so far..... - went to the doc who did the same tests as when it just happened and my range of movement is back up to 70% from 30%- whatever that means ..... I guess it means it is getting better. Much less (or is it fewer - my grammar is awful!!) pills are needed now and using less powerful ones too, so just a matter of time. Was told still no gardening for another 3 weeks.

Debbie - you are SOOOOOOOO right - we cannot get decent pizza here without making it ourselves. There are some more places opening up with "authentic wood burning pizza ovens" , but to be honest either the dough is horrid or the sauce is sweet, or they use too much of the wrong types of cheese. The frozen pizza we get seems to taste of soggy cardboard - not nice...... Happy birthday for yesterday by the way!!

I can't imagine what it is like to live alongside all the bugs /snakes/ scorpions and the like out there - I saw a snake once in the wild in my whole life the UK, and the worst we have insect wise is hornets, and not a lot of those....

Anyhow - got to go do some housework - can't let the rubbish build up too high....

Good morning!

Had a lovely visit with my girlfriend last night. She's trying to get things in order for her family's move back here from London. I can't wait to have her living back around the block from us again. We used to hang out every weekend; it's been lonely here since they've been living across the pond. And her daughter is the one friend that will still play Barbies with Lauren - so she's excited for their return too!

Tessa - glad to hear the back is slowly, but surely, getting better! Seems like it's just a slow delicate process!

Jillian - If you find a good work-from-home job opportunity, let me know. I would love to be able to make a little extra. My girlfriend's SIL has a job of transcribing accident claims at home - gets paid by the page. Some weeks she would make $300! That would be perfect for me - work on my spare time. I just don't know where to look. As far as our Nov. trip, Sunday is our last day, but our flight doesn't leave until 7pm. We're planning on spending the day at Epcot, so that sounds like a good day to meet up.

Kara - ICK! Those bugs are the #1 reason I'll probably never move to Florida (although I really want to!) How did Ally's last day go? Amanda is finished on the 17th; Lauren isn't done until the 20th - goes in from 7:30am and gets out at 10:45 - what a waste!

Hey Tammie - After many attempts, finally got the Walt font downloaded - pretty proud of myself. I'll play with making the designs, hopefully, this weekend. I did get there others; they are saved, flipped, and ready to be printed. Now I'm searching for the right t-shirts. I'll keep ya posted!

Good Morning! For some reason I just can't get moving today. I'm just sooooo tired and there's really no reason why. Just finally drug myself out of bed, Ally's watching TV, Jeff is gone golfing, and I'm trying to motivate myself to shower. I think it's gonna be one of those yuck days for me!

It is so hot down here already! It's getting into the low 90's with humity in the 70s - so nasty!

Hope everyone is having a good morning! Today I woke up to sounds of someone either blowing their nose in trumpet harmony or someone who obviously had tacos and beans for dinner last night! A loud honking noise of various tones echoing through out the neighborhood. Hello it's 7am!

Well I'm off to Joanne's today to get some fabric for shorts for DD8. She's jumping in and out of so many sizes I can't keep up or afford to buy new clothes everyday!
