I am not going to get sick. My family is not going to get sick. I keep telling myself that, because we just CANNOT get sick before our trip (or during it, either!). I look like this crazy old lady, pulling out wipes and anti-bacterial stuff every 10 minutes, wiping everything down. It's pitiful.

I hope that you all are having a great week! We are having so much rain today, and they are calling for more tomorrow. Thankfully, we have a great weekend forecast - mid 70's and clear.

A girl that I used to be best friends with in 6th grade found me on FB! She was friends w/another girl that we used to be best friends with, too! They have kept in touch all of these years. We had fun catching up on or lives a little bit. I have fun w/it, but like this, it's addicting to me...

Hello everyone.

Just a quick hi to say miss you guys. Seems like a bazillion things are going on, most of all my dad is doing very poorly. It is a very depressive state for me these days as I'm facing this may be the nearing of the end.

Anyway, I haven't forgotten you all - I actually wonder what is going on here, but things are just very .... odd here now. I'll be back when I can. Miss you all.

So I spent the entire day working on American Girl dress for our Louise May Alcott visit next month. Here they are.

I still have a yellow 1950s dress to make for my mil and Samantha, a coat for Nellie and flannel PJs for all of the dolls. CRAZY!

Getting ready for a day of rain tomorrow. DD10 is having a friend sleep over tomorrow and we're going to do pizza and pigs in a blanket. I'm sad because we wanted to go to a Halloween thing in town that won't happen cause of the rain.

Everyone else in the house is still asleep. I am not being very productive. I'm w/out a car today because mine is getting the 15K maintenance, oil change, etc. I have a mile long list of things I want to get done this weekend. It's supposed to be a beautiful day, so I will finally get my outdoor Halloween decor up. It's pitiful that I am getting them out so late. The only thing I've had out is our Halloween flag. At least they will be up for a week! Work has been sucking every life force out of me, and I hate that I am letting it do that to me. I used to put it behind me when I walked out the door, but lately, I've been taking the stress home w/me. I need to figure out how to stop that. Enough of that! My mom is picking up our t-shirts and tye-dye kits four our Mickey shirts. She gets 50% off at Michael's. Everyone is getting one (even Darrin agreed to wear one!), and one of the WDW name tag iron on shirts (agreed to wear one of those, too!). That's next weekend's project....Taylor is going to an overnight party, but we don't have anything planned for tonight except for grabbing dinner out. I feel like seeing a movie! Any recommendations? Last one I saw was Whip It, with Megan.

Good morning everybody! We're back to our miserable weather here in New England. It was 70 and sunny on Thurs; 48 and rainy today.

On the plus side -- I became an aunt again! My niece, Leah Rose, arrived at 2:27 this morning. Turned on my cell phone this morning and noticed I had NINE text messages - which at first scared the crap out of me. But they were all from my brother sharing all the details. She's beautiful and mom and baby are doing well.

Lorrie - I'm SO SORRY for the tough time you're going through with your dad! Please, come here to vent. Or if you need, feel free to email, text, or call me. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Girls are with their dad this weekend. I'm taking on the chore of switching out the summer clothes for the winter clothes. I think it's finally safe to do that now!

So annoyed right now. It's 3:45 am and I set my alarm to get up and do online ressies for ADR's. For the last few days I've been logging in, seeing my booking window approach and yesterday it was where I expected it (first available date was the 22nd, one day before our arrival). Now, I log in 90 days to the day, and the first available booking date for ADR's is the 21st. It's going backwards?

Welcome Baby Natalie!!! Shelly glad everything went well get some rest. The pain will start getting better in about another week. Really listen when they say don't go up and down the stairs.

No planning here yet other than the hotel. I have to make up my mind soon on ADRs as they come up next week.

Well we're watching football being played in the UK and bot of us wish we were there. The girls had a great night with their sleepover. This AM we made clay food for her AG doll - cakes, choco cherries, waffles and candies. Now I'm vegging out.

I can sell the dresses or the food I've made if anyone is interested in them for Christmas presents. Just PM me and we'll talk about it.

I'm very jealous about everyone's trips. A girl at dance is going on the Disney cruise next week too. My parents just took off for New Orleans for the week - we won't get a vacation for a long time! oh well.

I had some sad news today. I would appreciate your prayers for my mom and my aunt and cousin. My cousin Jason was killed in a car accident last night, and his brother Micah was in the car with him. Micah is in very critical condition, and his girlfriend was also killed. Jason's girlfriend is in the hospital, but she'll be okay. My aunt Beth lost her oldest son a few years ago in a drowning accident. Jason is her youngest. They are in Portland. Beth flew out tonight and my mom is heading up to Portland tomorrow to be with her. They are going to visit the body tomorrow - she feels she needs the closure. Pray for strength and comfort for them, and healing for Mike.

Tammie here is my news-

Hi girls well feeling a bit better about the TTC thing. Met with the RE today and she was wonderful. She is putting me on clomid and starting the whole process. She said that we will work on the weight gain and the other stuff after that I have waited long enough!!!! So I did the bloodwork today and then I wait to see if my LH is up if it isn't then I will start the progesterone to make AF come and then I can start the clomid U/S and then HCG shots. I have been given 6 cycles to get pregnant if not then it will be IVF and we will be skipping IUI.


Hope everyone is doing great miss you all so much finalizing my Disney plans. I am thinking

Oh Tammie, I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't even know what to say. My deepest sympathy to your family. I will defiantely keep you all in my prayers. I wish there was more I could do.

Thanks everyone for your support with Dad. I guess this is just hard because I have finally admitted I see the beginning of the end. Our last visit was really sad. He sat there like a very lonely, sick old man that you'd see in a nursing home. He didn't interact, he is at home but in a hospital bed, and it took his wife in front of the walker and me behind just to get him to the living room. His muscles were shaking. It was just awful. I know what is coming, but I don't think I'm ready for this - not one bit of it.

I've been really depressed, and my house looked trashed. I'm getting it clean, trying to deal with the issues rather than mope and stuff my face. It is just tough. You want to fix it, but you can't. That is the hardest.

Anyway, in skiming, I think someone had a baby - so congratulations on the baby! I've not been around like I should and feel so disconnected. I will have to just jump back in because I do miss you guys so terribly.

Nicolas got his report card - doing very well. We are working on Occupational Therapy with him, but he is thriving. It is funny, I just see the dings on his report card as extra areas to work on. Back in the day, I'd been grounded! Funny to a degree to see just how differently I parent him.

Anyway, Swine Flu is ramping up here. I hate that. I hate flying soon with it out there. Because of my allergy meds, I'm a lucky one who has a weakened immune system. So I caved and we all got the H1N1 vaccine. If you haven't gotten it and plan to get it - pretty similar to the regular one, but you do feel just wiped out the next day - not sick, just very very tired. Same for me, the kids and my mom, so it seems to be a true side effect. I just wanted to mention it so you could plan to have an easy day the next day if you take it. I mean a "I just want to lay around" day.

Hard to believe we leave in 3 weeks! I'm a little bit excited. I haven't thought much about it honestly with Dad, but I am glad I'm going. I need to get away for a bit and regroup I think.

I'll check in sooner rather than later.

I've heard great things about GFC. Psycho Friend said it was her best meal there! Forgive me - Badookie is going - right? I am guessing you are looking for dinner, but the Tusker Breakfast is a favorite of mine. I'd take it over CMs We're actually trying Pardiso at DTD which is new this year. LOVE latin food.

Okay seriously off to bed.

Oh - meant to ask.. Think I will kick myself for not doing the MVMCP? It is avaliable the Sunday night that we are there. As it stands we are getting in at noon, DTD that day, EPCOT the next and DHS the day we leave. I could swap EPCOT and DTD and do the party that night. Decisions. I got enough points on my visa to cover it, so it became an "option"

Thanks everyone for your prayers and support! I feel so cared for with all of you. My cousin Micah who lived is very broken up, but no head injury or internal injuries. He was awake today and joked with my mom a little bit and let her pray with him. He knows about his brother and girlfriend. My aunt and uncle and my mom are planning the funeral, and will visit the body tomorrow. Things are a little wierd - pray for my mom. She may come home tomorrow or Wed. The service is Thursday. I was thinking I would go up, but they are all planning a big "biker party." and are being very beligerant about any kind of preacher for the service, etc.

Strange - I think my aunt is just in shock or something. She is normally a christian who acknowledges God, although the "party thing" was a part of her past. Anyway, thanks so much for your prayers!

I'll be back to comment- I have to get to bed.

Tammie - so sorry to hear about your family - certainly makes me want to cherish the time with mine. Lots of hugs......

Lorrie - sorry to hear about your dad too - I know what you mean about preparing for the end - though we have done that soooo many times with my hubby's dad that who knows - live for the moments....

We had a really relaxing break - I had a head massage for the first time ever - I think I am still feeling the calming effects - really good!! It was like a scene from Bambi outside our lodge most days - deer, rabbits, robin, blackbird, thrushes, blue-****, coal-****, bullfinch, squirrels, ducks, moorhen, heron - a lot of them all at the same time!!! I am soooo relaxed - so I guess it was worth all the cash.......

OK - after I posted I realised they **** out the names of the birds - you will have to fill in the blanks!!!
