DW is doing the DL Half Marathon this Sunday morning.

DS5 and I are going to be waking up in the Candy Cane Inn and looking for a light breakfast before meeting her about 9am at the finish line. Anyone got a dining suggestion for 7:30am on Sunday morning? Probably would be best if near Downtown Disney and must be within walking distance of the Candy Cane Inn (the roads are closed for the marathon).

Well there is Denny's, Millies, Mimis & McD's all pretty much outside the gates. In DTD you could pick up something at La Brea or have a sit down breakfast at Rainforest Cafe.

Breakfast at the Rainforest is our favorite! YUMMO!!!

Well, there is always the free breakfast at the CCI. White water snacks at the GC is pretty good- breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, etc.

Thanks for all of the ideas - I didn't know CCI had a breakfast. We'll do that and then meet mom at the finish line. Maybe we can talk her into a 2nd breakfast at Rainforrest.

They offer 3 kinds of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, bagels with a couple kinds of cream cheese, bread for toast, english muffins (butter, peanut butter and jelly available as well as toasters) muffins, pastries, fruit (apples/ oranges/ bananas), juice, milk and coffee. Its pretty good breakfast for free.

In downtown there is La Brea Bakery, they wil have coffeee drinks and pastries. Also there is a Jamba Juice in Downtown, that is always yummy as a lighter breakfast.
