Looking for an Easter basket cake recipe

I've been looking for this recipe for a few years now, but I really want to make a birthday cake using this recipe. I found it in a magazine around 6-12 years ago, but I have no idea which one. Its a yellow cake made from scratch with chocolate frosting shaped into a basket with sugar cookie handles. Does this sound familiar with anyone? I've checked a ton of magazine websites, but I can't find anything close to it.

oh, sorry, I misread and thought you said "Easter basket case recipe." The way you do that is to invite both sides of my family over for Easter dinner and expect them to get along all evening. You'll be a basket case in no time.

But I'll check back to see if anyone knows how to make the cake. It sounds good.

OP- I suggest checking out www.bakespace.com if you haven't already! The bakers there are phenomenal and I'm sure would be able to point you in the right direction. Plus, they have a whole database of recipes you can search.
