Looking for an amazing meatball recipe

Well everyone tells me they are the best! and everyone asks for the recipe. Let me know what you think.

I do a really easy meatball.

Receipe:
1 1/2 pounds of Meat Loaf Mix (pork, veal, beef)
5 eggs
4C Seasoned Bread Crumbs (eye judge the amount, I will explain later)
Grated Cheese (just a sprinkle over the meat)
Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (for frying)
Pot of Homemade Tomato Sauce

In a large bowl, mix eggs and Meat Loaf Mix together well.
Add grated Cheese and mix.
Add 4C Seasoned Bread Crumbs, a little at a time, while mixing into the meat. You want the meat to feel slightly wet and easy to make into balls. You will feel when enough is enough.
When finished making your balls, set in fridge for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in sauce pan (I fill the sauce pan with oil half way and brown the meatballs, they brown fast, so turn them with a slotted metal spoon)

When meatballs are browned take them out of the sauce pan with a slotted metal spoon so the oil drains. The meatballs are still raw in the middle, put them into the Homemade Tomato Sauce and let them cook the rest of the way in the Sauce.

Yum!

Thanks for the recipe gang! I went with the Meatball Nirvana recipe. They were good, but in the future I will make them without the red pepper flake and hot sauce as these were just a little too hot for me.

Thanks for updating, I was wondering how they came out.

I never use a recipe, have always made them the same way. I often use ground turkey, but beef probably tastes better. I don't add any other type of meat. So, meat, salt and pepper, lots of garlic and some finely chopped onions, egg, milk, Italian breadcrumbs. Winds up almost little mushy, that's what keeps them moist. I like to fry them in olive oil to get that little bit of crispy brown on the outside, then place in a sauce to simmer for a while.

I've been totally craving meatballs since this thread. Ugh. Guess I will have to make some soon.

I made them yesterday too. I personally love the extra kick but if that's not your thing, definitely leave the red pepper flakes out.

A pound of ground beef, one egg (per pound, if I have 3.75 lbs of meat I add 4 eggs) to a cup of bread crumbs and I currently use saltines as my son was/is dairy allergic.

Add some garlic, parsley and water and mix. Add more water if it looks dry. Don't ask for amounts I just scoop and add.

I make sure they are moist when I roll them and I broil mine.

Mine are moist and my DH claims they are good! That's all that matters!
