I've seen some at Walmart before and can't find them now. Apparently they were out during the summer and you could even buy flavors for it.

Does anyone have one from Walmart? What is the name of them and how do you like it?

My in-laws got DD a slurpee machine from Target but it doesn't work and I'd rather invest in a well made one. It is not a smoothie machine, rather a slushie one.

I'd appreicate any help...

We had some at Walgreens for Christmas for the $9.99 toy sale...you can always check to see if your local store has any left over.

I just went today. They had them in households and were a better made machine than the toy slushie/slurpee machines. I just don't remember the make or name of them and I'd like to know to check them out until they get more in.

We got one at Target a year or so ago and it is much better than the toy slushy maker. Much easier and quicker to deal with. All the stores will be coming out with spring and summer pretty soon so you might want to wait or look on a site like amazon or overstock. I think ours is Rival and it works really well. Usually at the season end we stock up on the syrups as well. Dd 8 can work it by herself.

I have a Back-To-Basics brand smoothie maker and I love it. The motor is very powerful and just rips thru ice cubes like they were water. It dispenses the smoothie thru a spout in the front.

Amazon.com has it on sale (clearance?) for $29.99. They also have a Disney version which is made by Back-To-Basics. It's also on sale for $29.99.

I saw that one today but that is a smoothie, not slushie. We like the ice drinks you buy at Turkey Hills, Wawa's, etc (slush puppy drinks).. They are like a snow cone drink made with very fine shaved ice.

Oops! Sorry. I misunderstood.

Have you tried Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens and Things? If you can't find one in the stores, you might be able to get one online.
