DH and I are going to be leaving in three days for Disney. It is our anniversary trip! Well I was hoping to get a cake one night, and wanted to know a nice romantic spot to eat it just the two of us. Not a restaurant, but maybe a nice spot outdoors. We are staying at the all star movies, not the most romantic. Anyway any suggestions? Thanks.

At disney marketplace near Gerradelli's, there's some tables down by the water, it's not the quietest spot, but it's good. Or get on the boat from that same area and go over to POR, and find a outside table over there, and then take a walk,or bike ride around the resort. They may even have a carridge ride over there.? (They did at one time)

I think the river at POFQ and POR is a very romantic spot in the evening for non-eating.

Victoria and Albert's for dinner.

The boat dock at the Polynesian is a nice quiet spot as well. There's a good view of Cinderella's castle as well as the resort and you can also see the contemporary all lit up at night and the GF as well.

Would they let us go there even if we are staying at another resort? That sounds kinda nice. I like the idea of a view of cinderellas castle. :goodvibes

Sure, they don't care if you view and enjoy the grounds--just don't use the pool :scared: !!!!

Yes I knew about the pool. I hear they post your picture around and your banned for life. Or what there is of life after being banned from Disney. :guilty:

Another romantic spot at the Polynesian is a grassy knoll called Sunset Point. I noticed a couple enjoying a romantic evening while sitting in front of the knoll facing the lagoon. It is a peaceful, beautiful area.

The WL has a nice quiet spot on the beach with a view of the pool that is beautiful in the evening. If you go around 8-9pm at either the Poly or WL you will have nice view of the eveining electrical water parade from the beach. The parade starts over by the Poly and ends at WL

I think the boardwalk at night is one of the most romantic spots. You could get your cake at the Boardwalk bakery.

We like going to the beaches at either the Grand Floridian or the Poly. They have areas that can be secluded at times and quite romantic.

I agree that the boardwalk is very romantic.

Also the island in the middle of CBR is very romantic, especially if you get there to watch Illuminations.

I'm not sure what you have in my mind, but my DW and I find that fireworks are very romantic. On our last trip to MK to celebrate our anniversary, we sneaked in (please don't flame me, it isn't the point of the this thread) some wine (in a water bottel in our backpack) then we got a couple of deserts at that bakery on Main Street. We found a great spot in the Tommorwland Terrace; sat, ate, and talked for over an hour then had some awesome fireworks to end our night. IT WAS VERY ROMANTIC!!

:earseek: :earseek: you did what?????? How could you????? :earboy2: :earboy2: I'm kidding......your secret is safe with me (cuz I might just have to do that next time I go..hehe) :rolleyes1

You could grab a couple of drinks from the lounge from the Poly with your cake and sit out on the grassy knoll and watch the fireworks then hop the monorail or ferry back to the MK and head back to your resort.

you know, I don't know if you can still do this but a long time ago when we stayed at the polynesian my family walked over to the beach on the other side of Luau cove I think. There was NO ONE over there....maybe that would be a good place to try too...if you can still get over there. I haven't stayed at the poly in a while so I'm not even sure. I don't know if the view is as good as the other beach areas but it would be more secluded there.

I'm not sure if you wanted suggestions for in the parks, but for us the benches in France at Epcot are very romantic.
