Looking for a resort with a warm pool :)

We stayed at yacht club in November and found storm along bay to be very cold we ended up only using the hot tubs. We are looking to do a long weekend resort only stay in February and I would really like to spend the day at the pool and be able to enjoy it. Can anyone who has been onsite the last two months confirm if the pool felt warm, and not “ I got used to it after a bit”. I really appreciate the help thank you

Unless not working properly all Disney pools are heated to 82*F.
In the summer they get much warmer than that but in the cooler weather they don't so it may not seem as warm as you'd like it in November.

@lissiesmum, the Stormalong Bay pool near the waterside entrance was FREEZING on the warm November day that we swam. We did a split stay at Ft. Wilderness earlier in the week and both of the Ft. Wilderness pools were very comfortable "bath water" temps.

I just did split stay staying at beach club, boardwalk, and blt. I believe temp of pool counterintuitively feels warmer on cold days but for us beach club felt warmest, then boardwalk, and bay lake tower actually felt cold. This basically inversely mirrored outside temp so doubt it’s resort specific and more a mentality thing or possibly even a legit thing where the pools heat more when cold out so when you find warm spot it’s warmer.

I think some of the larger pools do lose heat faster despite their heaters. We also have found Stormalong bay to be colder than other pools at WDW. Generally, we find the quiet pools tend to be a bit warmer. For example, at GF, the waterfall pool was freezing but the courtyard pool was toasty warm (same day). Same with the beau soleil quiet pool at riviera, compared to its feature pool.

We have had hit and miss pools being warm and extra cold feeling in winter months.....but, the quiet pools always seem warmer to me, try those next time!

Glad to hear this! We have a resort only stay at the end of February at the Swan and really want to spend the day in the pool.
