Look Out Nyc The Limeys Are On The Loose!!!!

NYC, eh? Meh...the only thing here I ever do is Coney Island, China Town, and the NYC World Of Disney. Though I've been to almost every museum in this town (My friends and I are nerds). But if you are not from here, there is so much excitment and everything. I'm hoping you guys did go to the NYC World Of Disney, because it is really cool, and we hang out there. Plus, it is WDW property.

Sky Splash, I have memories on that slide! I miss the one that had the food stand below it, it was kind of in the back, it was hidden and built in ground (not under, though it did go under at one point).

I really have nothing to input here, just that, I actually woke up really really early that morning. My Dh was surprised to see me up and functioning at the same time as him. A very rare occurance.

We go staright from school. I've picked up job applications but nevewr mailed them because I'm kind of busy with my volunteer job, school and I just got hired at Astroland in Coney Island.

Ok we last left off at me pulling up at Tara's house... She was still on the phone with me as she was walking out the door.. Anthony flew out of the van and made himself right at home.. Em and Nick carried the most important things in the world to them, their blankets, into the house and Tara and I went in to rest a bit.. We would unload the van in a bit.. She shows me around the house and where everything is.. She locks up her dog in his cage and we head out and to unload my van.. Next thing we know the dog is off and running down the street then goes Tara; and I send in Laci to get the boys and everyone is chasing after this dog... STITCH get back here... STITCH where are you? Ok after a LOT of trouble we get the dog back and put him back in the house and find out my little Em was the one that got the cage unlocked and opened... I tell everyone she is TROUBLE...

Ok we now round up the kids and all pile into Tara's Suburban and head out to Wal-Mart.. It was going to rain tomorrow and we had to get the kids rain ponchos and umbrellas for when we are in NYC...

We get to the store and the 3 main things on my list are:

We must get the Detroit Tigers cereal....

My ds4 calls it that... The mascot to the Detroit Tigers is Paws

and since he first saw him he now refers to frosted flakes as Detroit Tigers cereal...

Ok after chasing down the kids and getting all we needed and the stuff we didn't need we go and check out and then Tara asks me if I would like to get a tour of Ocean Grove... I said yeah that would be great... The town was beautiful... It reminded me of Key West with all the bed and breakfasts and little stores in between the houses.. I it...

Ok we pass lots of cool stuff and since I am from MI we have lakes not the ocean so I have to take a couple of pictures of the ocean... It was an overcastted day but still beautiful...

Next she wants to show me the place where she got married...

OK well it’s only the garage but me being the smart that I am I told her this would look better for my tr...

Ok next we head back home and I make her take me through the cemetery... If ya read our last limey tr rer1972 (Ronnie)had to visit the cemetery in Richmond so I felt obligated to run through one in NJ and get pictures just for him..

It was a very beautiful cemetery..

I seen this headstone and had to take a picture for Va-bear (Virginia)

The last one is one named for Tara...

Ok we are now headed back to Tara's house and I seen Kaw1218's dh's place...

My gosh Kelly I had no idea your dh has a place so close to Tara's house...

We get back to Tara's house and sit down and relax... I open her cupboard and seen that Kelly was already there...

The girls loved their umbrella's so much that I HAD to take a picture of them using their umbrellas..
This is Laci; Tara's daughter...

And this is my Emily as you can tell I call her Em most of the time...

Tara makes dinner and as she is making it her friend Josephine comes in and I finally get to meet her... She's a real smart I can see Jo and I are gonna get along really good...

We sit down to dinner and whats a true diser to do when he or she goes to eat? Ya have to take a picture of the food you are eating....

Ok at this point Jo thinks I am completely but just wait she won't for long...

Ok, so we piled into my Navigator, not the Suburban. I sold that in October. I am picky about that because, I hated that truck with the utmost passion. We had to drive past the place I was married, so I mentioned it to her, and she wants to take pics of the garage. Ok wierdo. Well, it wasn't the place I got married, but the place I held the reception. I was recently asked on the boards if I was shallow, and of course I had to respond yes! How do you know me so well. So that is where Shallow came about. Interesting enough, I never realized I had alcohol in my cabinets. But I have since remembered that I threw them there when I was cleaning out the cooler coming off the boat.

For those of you that don't know. Ocean Grove is a small quaint Victorian type town. Its really beautiful all year round. Although I rarely visit there. It is actually gated. The old gates still stand! What I find interesting about the town, is that they used to close the gate at a certain time, and you were basically stuck within your own little 'dry' (alcohol free) town. I believe the old sign says 10pm on weekends in the summer. This no longer holds true, especially since they have aligned themselves with my town, and now are considered part of it. So Ocean Grove is Neptune, and Neptune is Ocean Grove if that makes any sense.

As for Big Daddy billiards....I had no idea that it existed. I obviously don't frequent that establishment, and yes, its across the highway from my development, but I find it quite ironic that it said that. It took someone from out of town to notice it. So Kelly, would your DH and you like to visit one day, and we'll hop on over to Big Daddy's. For those not in the know. Big Daddy is Kelly's DH. It's more of a tease that happened by some comments Kelly made in chat, more like typos that got a bit out of hand, and are extremely hilarious. Mary would have to tell you more on how she started calling him Big Daddy, because I'm sure she remember's more.

Teresa and Tara.......Great report. You guys are too funny...Your little girls are so darn cute. My DH has a funny fixation with cemetaries also...Loves to drive and read all the old stones What can I say. Anyway...Tara, nice reception house..err.hall...garage....

My Mother in Law used to vacation at Ocean Grove...She still remembers her grandparents sneaking in ...She loved it there. Maybe I have mentioned this...We have vacationed in Cape May many times....but I digress.
