Let me first start off by saying this in NOT a tr about wdw but a tr about a dismeet...
My alarm was set for 11:30pm on Tuesday night... I swear I was going to be in bed by 7 to take a nap and be on the road by midnight... ok its now 11pm and still not asleep... change the alarm to 1:30am I don't have a schedule I can be out by 2am.. Nope still awake... oh well might as well get up and get the kids moving.... load up the van and its 1:45am on the road we go...
Ok lets back up a couple of months to when I was chatting on the dis with my fellow limeys. I wanted to go someplace for spring break but was broke so p89 (princess89***Tara) said come stay with me... I thought she was joking at first but wow
she was serious...
I'm like ok you want me (Teresa) my ds9 1/2 (Anthony) my ds4 (Nick) and my dd2 (Emily) to stay with ya for a long weekend? She was dead serious so I said what the heck.... Time goes by and we make lots of plans... Yep lots of plans...
while chatting on the Limey thread kaw (kaw1218***Kelly) said she would love to meet up with us in NYC one day... Great a Dis meet....
well we all already have met in person but what the heck any excuse for a Dis meet...
P89 live in Jersey so I was going to drive from Wyandotte, MI which is just south of Detroit to Neptune, NJ which is about 45 into the state.. About a 9 1/2 hour drive... Yep I went to FL with my kids alone for 3 weeks I can do a long weekend no problem plus I would have lots of help from p89. P89 has 2 kids of her own Tyler is 11 and Laci is almost 4... So our kids are close in age and it should be just fine... Yep we are both
we will NOT deny that...
Side Note: Tara and I met for the first time in Florida... we were both staying at the movies and I was in the food court and headed out and as I was walking I passed by her and stopped dead in my tracks backed up and said wow your another diser ......... I made her dh take pics of us and that was all she wrote... We ran into each other many times afterwards during our trip... Our boys remembered each other because they were in the gift shop playing swords with one another one evening... (Yes we were bad we were trying to talk and just let the kids go) From that point on Tara and I have either talked on the phone; instant messaged one another or emailed one another every day since... I am very honored to call Tara my friend. We have gotten so close and I know our friendship will last for years to come... Heck we even have our next Disney trip planned together for in August...
Ok back to the night of travel....
I get the kids in the car and both the little ones are still sound asleep and Anthony is awake and very excited... I get through Michigan and to the turnpike in Ohio and a bit on the road... Its 3am now and guess what my little ones were wide awake... Yep they were wide awake the whole drive.... So we had to stop and stop and stop... I had been texting KAW (she was at work..) and she also called me lots... I was so greatful for her keeping me company. Did I mention she works at HD? Yep the lgmh capital of the world... 
10 hours later we finally made it... Pulled off the expressway and called Tara because I was lost... I hate finding where I need to go. So she talked me through the rest of the way.. and I finally made it to the front door...

Side Note: Kelly and I met while we had a dismeet in Va last Nov... She lives in PA near Sesame Street Place....
