My big project today is going to be the t-shirts
(second big project, the rocks were work!)


I will post pictures,
since I hear
Kimmy wants to make some matching shirts!

No Universal this year.
Two days at Busch Gardens
One day at Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom and Epcot
and four mornings at least if not full days at Typhoon and Blizzard Beach

that will keep us pretty busy!

also, the Science Center, Old Town, Medieval Times, Fun Spot
and I think we will have to skip Gatorland (been there, quirky but fun)
dinners planned for nearly free at Outback, Romano's Macaroni Grille, and TGIFridays
other meals CS at Disney parks and Chef Mickey's of course!

I am almost embarrassed to report

I got lonely without my needy girls yesterday!

I went to Target (which was lovely as usual)
but after dinner, I had done everything I wanted to do for the day
and there were not pesky distractions....

DH and I have been having a conflict over the AC

I don't enjoy it, always cold
he is always too warm

I got really hot doing the yard work today
but I still felt it was a bit cold in the house ....

I like to turn off the AC and open the windows
a fresh air kinda girl

of course, it hasn't been oppressively warm here, either
and not too humid

it will be different in Florida, I daresay!
I will enjoy the AC there!

DS has finished mowing and has showered
now his goal is to eat all the food we have in the house
before he goes to work

lives an hour and a half from here

DS doesn't see that


she is allowed to drive down here tomorrow....

for a visit, she has her non restricted license

We haven't had ours on at all this summer -----it has been so cold & rainy-- I figure we will about melt next month -- we haven't had any good weather here to 'prep' us for the FL heat!

My non-planning friend that is coming with us (in 18 days ) came over on Saturday for a picnic & she borrowed a black dress in preperation for her Father-in-law's funeral -- so I had to hide my suitcases.........DH laughed & said 'don't want to freak her out?' I said 'nah, that's what I have Dis friends for!' 'They will understand'

CVS has half off a lot of summer stuff
including lots of great airplane snacks!

For a quarter to 50 cents
you can get PopRocks, Emerald brand cashews, lemonheads in the snack size boxes (I love lemonheads) and those Crystal Light drink mixes that are the size for water bottles, ten packets for fifty cents! Woo Hoo!
(I personally hate kool-aid, but my kids love it and love dumping them in their water)

lots of other snacks, too!
