it is a beautiful day here
DS is at the Carpenter's Project (a local mission to repair homes of the elderly or just financially needy, for FREE)
and the gilrs are just getting ready to dip in the pool
which means I will have to go out


We are babysitting at two year old and her 10 year old sister while the mom is doing something with their six year old.

Costco has been cheating folks on the membership renewal for ten years??? oy vey!

Smart man to bark at the bear which broke into his house!

I can't believe the woman got money for sueing about the ATM, but it is scandalous how much teh firm will make!! the woman will get 1000 dollars the law firm snarfs up 27,000 and the settlement was 90,000, the rest to pay claims of others who can prove they used the machine.

I have no comment on homeless karaoke, but the preschool class with blind and sighted children is inspiring!

Often, the only news I know is what Sarah points out! I enjoy reading the things you find, Sarah!

Last week I signed up at DQ for their blizzard club or ice cream club or somethign...

you print off a coupon for buy one get one free blizzard, 16oz

the girls enjoyed them today
but I had a gasping moment when I learned that ONE
16 oz (medium) blizzard is 4.44, with tax!

GASP


thank goodness they were buy one get one free
you get a completely free one on your birthday

DD13 said we would all have to share and only get two bites each
since I was gasping about the price of ONE !

doesn't that seem outrageous?

Chocolate chip cookie dough and oreo were our choices, and they were both delicicous, but I previous thought McD's flurries were overpriced at 2.39 (looked like the same size cup to me!)

I'm not a fan of this job, it isn't what I expected. But today was a pretty good day and it went by fast, which is good.

Okay, the two year old was a little daredevil
she went off the dive
and the slide
with floaties on, but still
didn't mind having her head dunked at all


she was an angel for me, too
she is so much like my DD13 was at that age
so I know exactly what her mom goes through
it was nice for her mom to have an hour break
where she could actually talk to an adult
