Look at this LOADED contract for BWV

Just saw this BWV contract on Fidelity. Wow...talk about a LOADED contract. Look at those 2012 and 2013 points!

Yeah, but those 2012 points are GONE in 15 days as if you look at the numbers they are probably banked 2011 points and will need to be used in the next 15 days. The 604 are the 250 from the regular 2013, 104 brought forward from 2014, and a banked 2012 share. Still, a good contract in that it's not stripped, especially if you have the money and need that many points.

Yeah....250 points are going to be lost since they can't be used in time. The buyer of this contract is really getting only 250 points "free" and he's paying for all the rest (including the 104 that were borrowed from 2014).

We were lucky enough to snag a loaded contract when we purchased. It makes the first couple of years really nice because you can either plan an extra vacation or try out larger than usual rooms without having to borrow points.

I looked at this a few days ago and concluded it was most likely incorrectly updated. How would you get 604 points into 2013 on a 250 point contract when there are still 250 left in 2012?

I think the 2012 points were banked into 2013 and 104 points (250 -146) were borrowed from 2014 for a 604 point trip that was then cancelled. So probably, the contract really has 604 in 2013 and 146 in 2014.

Yes, the owner could have transferred in 260 points, but I think that very unlikely.

So did I back in 2009 for SSR.
We had so many "extra" points that we took a week-long trip and then were able to book 2 aft balconys on the Dream for a week cruise (5 people total) in July. It was wonderful and especially satisfying since we purchased resale

How would you get 604 points into 2013 on a 250 point contract when there are still 250 left in 2012?

The 250 in 2012 are 2011 banked points

The 604 in 2013 are made up of 250 banked 2012 points, 250 current points and 104 borrowed points.
