I saw the post with the pictures of last years dinner at Pop vs this years dinner.

Here is our 2005 Group at dinner, WOW have we grown!!

If you are in this pic, fess up (I am in the back row, the last person on the right)!!!

I don't post nearly as much as I did back then, but I lurk all of the time and I love the postive spirit that is ALWAYS here!!

I was supposed to be there.. but I was SHY Then.. and didn't go... Can you believe that??? Me Shy??? I know.. hard to believe.. but true.

I am here to tell you.. don't make the same mistake I did... Join in on the meets.. get to know these wonderful people... it really is a life altering experience.. and I mean that in a good way I feel that if only I hadn't been so fearful, I could have had 2 more years of knowing everyone! I am sooo glad I finally took the leap!

I totally agree with Kathy. This group is so warm and welcoming. I did the Expo with some and Pop and met sooooo many other awesome people. It is also really nice to put faces to names. The bio thread is great but meeting people in person is the BEST!! Just wander around Pop with your WISH shirt on and chances are the Great Panda will grab you, pull you into a mass of people and start introducing you!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh- the good ol' days! My, how things have changed- and for the better I might say!

I was just thinking how this thing has snowballed since the original group. I came back to the WISH board and was just amazed at how big this thing has gotten! Makes me proud!

I am in the back row 1st on the left.

I'm also thinking really seriously about doing the half again in '09. I'm takin' an all girls trip with my sisters in law (all 12 of them!) and we should be there that week. I'm trying to talk them into doing this as well!

I almost did not make it that day for the same reason. It was very hard to get up the courage to meet everyone. I was so glad I did, but 2 years later I could not find the courage to actually go to the WISH meet

I am hoping by posting more I will find the nerve to be at the 2009 WISH meet!

I am on the back row, 4th from the left. Even though I had to run away from the guy on the bike once, and was closed out at the back gate of MK after walking almost 10.5 miles, the experience I had ranks right up there with some of the best in my life. I would love to find the woman I walked with for most of those miles. She was from Alabama, and lurked on these boards, and said she was too shy to come to the meet. We talked each other's ears off for hours, but never really exchanged names. She was with me when we took off running, but I had to stop before she did. I so hoped she made it thru to the end.

I wore my WISH scarf to work today!
