I actuallly joined last summer, and it suddenly occured to me that I never properly introduced myself! Well, here I am to fix that!
My name is Raven, and I spend a majority of my free time on this forum :-x Oops! I live just outside of Philadelphia with my fiance and two adorable cats. We got engaged last summer, and my very first thought was a Disneymoon! I've only been to WDW twice (2006 & 2009), and my fiance has only been once (2005). I went crazy planning for the wedding/Disneymoon until unfortunately my father passed away a month after the engagement and we decided to push everything back. After FINALLY agreeing on a new wedding date(Oct. 2015), we encountered another "bump" along the way (ha! Get it?
Yeah yeah I know.) As you can tell from my signature, we are now expecting our first child in October instead!
Anywhoser! Since a Disneymoon is not in my immediate future, we(well, mostly I) decided that a trip to WDW HAD to be done so we are now planning for October 2016 for our daughter's first birthday. Lucky for me, I have a wonderful fiance who allows me to take control of the planning because he knows how much I LOVE Disney. My best friend is going down next month with a 7 year old and a 1 year old, so I am using her trip as a practice run for doing Disney with a baby. Once she gets back I will be expecting a full report!
DIS has been such an awesome resource for my planning, I love it! Being a new mamma-to-be AND planning a WDW trip for the first time...it's overwhelming but I've gotten great advice so far. Now that I've talked your ears off...
