I need some help. Does anyone have any suggestions for long term parking at Newark. Our ride to the airport fell thru and was considering parking in the airport lot , but I'm afraid we'll get there and the parking lot will be full. Any experiences with the private lots outside the airport? Thanks

I've never been turned away from the long term lot. If you go to maps.live.com and put in e port st, newark, nj as your address and switch to the aerial view, you'll see the enormous long term lot at the north end of the main runway. Just leave yourself an extra 20-30 minutes to get there and back after you've dropped everyone else at the terminal.

We were in Disney last week and flew out of Newark. I used park2go.com. They are located very close to the airport and it cost me $103 for essentially 8 days. This was the second time I used them and have not had a problem.

Same deal as previous poster mentioned, make a reservation online and print the coupon out.
:goodvibes

My company always has employees use VISTA and when I did there wasn't a problem. Yes, shuttle was quick !! I paid around $11 a day but that was about 10 years ago....

I've used these guys several times. Shuttles run frequently.
Make sure you make a reservation and genrate and print the coupon. I just checked and you can get a week parking for around $100.

I agree with Avistar. We used the one on McClellan (they have a few different locations) last trip and it was $100 for 8 days with the coupon online. Car was fine, quick shuttles, no issues. I'd use them again w/out question!

I don't know what your situation is but if you have handicapped plates or placard and the ID that comes with that you can park in ANY parking lot at EWR for long-term rates ($15/day).

We're travelling with my dad this year and intend to take advantage of that.

My family is flying out of Newark in a few days. I was wondering how difficult it is to get to the long term parking (either the airport's or Vista) if I drop off my family at the terminal and go solo to park the car? Does anyone have directions, or are the road signs clearly laid out for getting to either one?

I'm not sure it would be worth it...
We've used Avistar, and you pull up under the canopy, they help load the bags into their shuttle, drop you at the terminal, then help unload the bags at the curb. Not sure what the advantage would be dropping everyone at the airport first. :confused3
The signs are fairly well marked, but its still pretty confusing getting back there.
