Long term camping

I hope I'm not asking a question that many have answered before. We are DVC members and have just bought an RV. Our dream has always been to spend longer than just a week or 2 at Disney when we retire. We don't have enough DVC points (and can't afford to buy more) but wondered if you can camp for long periods of time in the off-season winter months, i.e. 1-2 months.
 
Check out the thread on the changes on the reservations system and the possible effect on campsites - there is some talk there on how it would effect long term campers.

Yes, you can camp long term, some people stay for up to 6 months at a time! As FtWildernessGuy said, check out the thread on the changes, because you used to be able to keep one rate throughout the stay but that might be changing.
 
Your points will definitely go further at the campground then they will at any DVC resort. :thumbsup2
