Long shot request - April 29th California Adventure

Not sure the odds of success but figure worth a shot!

Next Tuesday, April 29th at 11am, my son’s school band is travelling from Canada to perform on the backlot stage in California Adventure. Their earlier time slot has them a bit worried that they won’t have anyone in the audience so if anyone happens to be there and has time to stop by, it would make the kids’ day to have even a small audience watch them perform (especially anyone other than their 4 teacher chaperones!)

Thank you! I hope they have at least a few people. He has gone to the parks every year at least once since he was 1 (minus the year Covid stole from us as international travellers). I’m SO excited for him and really hope it’s an incredibly memorable experience for all the kids.

I am sure there will be a lot of people there to cheer them on. Our Son got to march with his band down Mainstreet several years back, he still talks about it each time we visit the parks. I am sure it will be a memorable experience for all of you, have fun.

It may take a few minutes of band playing but I think crowd will grow once they hear music from backlot area, noticed that with other shows throughout the day (no worries if they first walk out to empty seating area)

I’m certain everybody will have an amazing time! DLR hosts a plethora of events for students, and it’s always amazing to hear people - who now have their own children and even grandchildren - reminisce!

I won’t be able to attend but if you’re able to post some clips, I’m sure this community would enjoy!
