London Pubs

Hello UK DISers!
My wife and I are going to the UK next month with my sons high school band. We are so excited about visiting your country...the closest we've been is Epcot We'll be in London on the 20th of April. We'll have some free time when the band's not performing and want to check out the sights...especially the pubs Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

There are many many pubs in London.

As for the sights what sort of things do you like? A good idea for a first time visitor are the sight-seeing buses which take you round all the major attractions and you can get on and off them all day at whatever places you want.

Ooo where abouts are you staying? I am a manager of a hotel in High Wycombe which is about 30 mins on the train from london?

I'm very familiar with central London Pubs I was born in central London and lived there until I was 30. Although things change quickly in parts of central London I could easily point in the right direction of some traditional "boozers" if that's what you're looking for - let me know where you're staying and I'll try my best to help.
