OK, that makes sense (when combined with wishspirit's explanation.) I googled the 2, and the pictures of St Pancras are what's in the movie. And it *is* very pretty! I definitely need to go there & do the cheesy Platform 9 3/4 picture, too! I'm thinking of doing a Harry Potter walking tour one of my pre-days. I'd really better decide pretty soon. It's coming quicker than I expected!!!!We saw it at the IMAX at Easton. It was my son's birthday, so we saw it with a bunch of 12 year old boys, which was fun.
I read in one of the Harry Potter London walk descriptions that they use external shots of St. Pancras because it's so pretty but call it King's Cross. I think they did this in #2 as well.
We are going to have to take some time to visit Platform 9 3/4 and get a cheesy photo of Brian and I running at the barrier with the cart or our children will be gravely disappointed.

OK, this makes sense. According to Google Images, it's St. Pancras in the movies...)The two stations are interlinked. There is 'Kings Cross', 'St Pancras International' and 'Kings Cross St Pancras underground station'. So you can walk easily from one to the other.
Plus St Pancras is much prettier! (I haven't seen the new Harry Potter to clarify if it was St Pancras or Kings Cross yet)
