...adding the sugar. It completely slipped my brain. It was funny to see family's reaction to much-loved cookies. The texture was definitely funny. Guess I had a senior moment.

I thought you were going to say you forgot the PB! Lol! Don't feel bad, my mom made tuna casserole one time without the tuna! Everyone kept telling her how good it was! She never did tell!:D

I too thought you were going to say you forgot the PB. Don't feel bad, a friend and I were making brownies. I am not sure how we forgot to do this, but we forgot to add the 2nd cup of flour. It wasn't too bad though... tastes more like fudge than brownies though.

I thought you were gonna say PB too, and I was gonna say yummy cause I don't like PB.

What was the texture like, very crumbly?

You said it, nativetxn! Very crumbly texture. Wouldn't be an expensive mistake i.e. a few cookies, but I put in those mini M & M's and they cost about $3. to add.

Rats! Well now you know...don't forget the sugar ;)

You could probably mix the crumbled cookies with pudding or something to salvage them. As long as you served them with something sweet, the sugar may not be missed.

My sister did that once with pecan pie. I absolutely love pecan pie. She had made it for Thanksgiving. Brought me a piece home, sat down to eat it and ugh!!! It was horrible. Bleck. She still doesn't live that down.

Do you have a good receipy for PB cookies? I'd love to make them as both my dh & I love them. I have to make any of my own baking though because I can't have wheat. I just need the receipy and I'll add my own kind of flour. Thanks

Hahaha. Peanut butter play dough. That's a good description. I've done plenty of baking in 19 years of marriage, but I guess this was my funniest mistake.
