logistics/transportation to early breakfast ADR's

Yes,"around" 6:30 AM for Magic Kingdom first bus(I have seen MK first bus come as early as 6:11 AM).:)

The other 3 Parks usually have their first bus a little while after MK first bus.

Here is MK first bus time for one day during our stay last month at Pop Century.:)

This is awesome THANK YOU!!! Put my anxiety about getting to this ADR to bed! <3

Those bus boards are not reliable in my experience. I have sat waiting for buses & watched while the bus times kept changing constantly. During my stay @ Kidani last month most times the bus I needed usually just said buses approximately every 20 min and would only show an actual time about 2 minutes before the bus showed up. I was late for several reservations due to excessive bus wait times. Relying on transfers at parks to get to another resort in the morning is horrible. The bus drivers say they don't run buses back to the resorts on a regular schedule in the morning. Sometimes they will get a bus for you if they know you need to get somewhere specific but you can't count on it. Once last year while waiting @ MK for a bus to Boardwalk to get to a reservation @ Trattoria they called a van to take me & another party over to the Epcot resort area. I had Early Morning Magic scheduled last month at MK & got there late due to no bus for well over 20 minutes & no next bus time showing on the schedule board. The one time I planned to transfer to the boat @ DHS to get to Boardwalk I ended up walking from DHS because there was no sign of a boat coming to the dock so I knew there was no way I would ever get to the restaurant in time. If you have a car or are willing to pay for Uber or the Minnie Vans there is no issue but making early AM ADR's at other resorts & relying on Disney transportation is a recipe for disaster.

They are never exact, but if they start around 6am I think I'll be ok for an 8am ADR - in park. It doesn't take 2 hours to get there ;-)

That is freaking AMAZING!!! Maybe thats why MDE has been wiggin' out all week! I would love to have this for our trip in June!
Yes,having the Bus Times on MDE will be MAGICAL!:)

It would really be cool also if they put the Bus Times on Resort TV!:)

We just returned and stayed at the Yacht Club. The bus boards were not working all of the of the time- especially for MK. We stayed on club level and asked our concierge desk (twice) how to get transportation for our 8 am ADR at the Plaza- MK. We were told that the buses started at 6:30 am and we should catch one prior to 7 am. We went out to the bus stop at 6:50- no info on the board and no one around. So we went to the front desk to ask whether they knew anything about the bus schedule. They told us- in a not very nice tone- that we should have made arrangements in advance for a cab and did not offer any advice as to how to do that. Our daughter immediately used her phone to order a Minnie van and everything worked out- but it cost us an extra $30+. The Minnie vans take you right up to the front gate and drop you off. It's my understanding the Uber and Lyft take you to the TTC.

Uber...Uber...Uber....that is how I plan on the attacking the AM ADR's, have used Uber many, many times and NEVER had one issue, and the MV are just too expensive to have a CM drive me around, no kids does make it easier and have used Uber in many various cites and love it each time.....

I think an email to Guest Communications is in order for the way you were treated.

Guests with an early ADR at Magic Kingdom are NOT expected to provide their own transportation-although Uber/Lyft/Minnie is the best way to alleviate any "stress".

Buses to Magic Kingdom start running between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM and since the Bus Boards were not working they should have made an effort to find out when the next bus was coming or offered to give you a voucher for a taxi or other private carrier.

Unacceptable the way you were treated.

True, but just wanted to point out it seems as if that poster didn't allow any time for a bus to arrive - no sign, so they turned right around and went to the Front Desk (instead of Lobby Concierge?)

Anyway, it probably would have been helpful to complain to hotel management while there.

Hi, not sure where to post this, but here goes...

Last trip (it was 2008) we stayed at Port Orleans FQ and had an early reservation for breakfast at Boma, which was fabulous. But we had no idea it would be so hard to get there on time. We ended up calling a taxi (this was before Uber) because it was almost impossible to get to AKL that early -- and it seemed annoying and wasteful to add $15 to the cost of our breakfast just to *get* there, but that's what we did.

This time we will be at Carribean Beach. We'll have the QS Dining Plan, but I want to schedule at least a few TS meals. Last time we loved breakfast at Boma, and at Ohana, and thought about trying 1900 PF this time. Any advice on the best way to get to early breakfast ADR's on time at any of those locations from Carribean Beach? We've never stayed there or had to navigate to other parts of WDW from there.

If I can score a breakfast ADR for BOG, does it have to be after MK opens? Or can we get from CBR to MK on time for an early ADR using resort transportation?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom or advice you can offer.

For BOG you can make a pre-park reservation, but it can be difficult to get. As many people have said, to get to an early ADR at a resort other than the one you are staying at you may want to try Uber or Lyft. Though it seems kind of silly to have the extra fee it takes a lot of the stress out of the situation.

You could also take a bus to MK and then take the monorail, but you would really need to plan ahead of time for this option and give yourself some time to spare. Hope you enjoy!

My purpose for writing my post was just to alert others so that they can hopefully avoid the same situation with early morning ADRs. We arrived at the bus stop within the suggested time given to us by the club level concierge. When two of us returned to the lobby for more information about the bus, there were hardly any people in the lobby at all to speak to. I wished I could have given feedback to the club level concierge but I was unable to speak to him after this happened as it was our check-out day. We had plans to stay in another hotel for the rest of our stay. I did contact Disney and they thanked me for letting them know so that they could do a better job in the future. We probably won't do another early morning ADR for something that is not a close distance from our hotel.
