Stupid website "We're Working on It" message.

In any case, our port adventure (cabana!) booking window opens on November 29. I plan (if I can ever login to the stupid website, see my opening statement) to have all our guest information etc... entered, register kids for the clubs and other things in advance.

I am in Alberta (MST), so I assume I can start booking at 1000 on Saturday, November 28? Can I be logged in in advance with my reservation number etc...? Does the system frequently crash at that precise time because everyone is trying to login (I am thinking Ticketmaster!).

Any tips you can send my way would be appreciated.

P.S. I know it is very unlikely we will get a cabana, but I am going to try!

Yes, you can be logged-in in advance, and just press refresh at 10:00.

I would try for your cabana first before registering, unless an early PAT is important to you.

I did not find the website was any slower than normal (but I find that the website is always slow).

For our upcoming cruise, we had no problems with the site at 90 days. When making reservations for my parents (who haven't sailed before), we were unable to login in even by 1 am EST. at that point, I decided it could wait until morning. I don't believe this was traffic related, just crappy website related.

I've never tried it, but I've read many times on this site that if you're logged in prior to the window opening, you have to log out and back in. Maybe the new site has fixed that little bug?

I was logged in and just hit refresh when I did this on November 3rd.

The DCL website is the worst! I've tried 3 different browsers, and the 1 it does work on takes forever to load each time you click on anything. So frustrating. I get Stitch saying someone ate the page.

I'm in Canada too, maybe it's a Canadian thing. ;)
