Lockers in Parks

Since we are going next week, the weather looks like its getting a little lower, I am thinking of taking jackets and pants for the evening and don't want to go back to hotel to change in evening. How much do the lockers cost, and where are they located in the parks MK, Epcot, and MGM?

I know at the MK, the lockers are right under the railroad station when you walk in. I think, at EPCOT, they are near rhe entrance, and probably at MGM. They would all be somewhere near the ticket booths. That's not to say there aren't other places that have lockers, but....

Epcot has 2 locations for lockers - just to the right of Spaceship Earth, and at the International Gateway.

The lockers at MGM are at Oscar's Service Station, on your right just past the entrance to the park.

The lockers cost $7/day, but you'll get 2 Disney Dollars back when you turn in your key (I believe they'll probably give you real money instead if you ask). Keep your receipt when you park hop, and you'll be given a locker at a different park for free on the same day.

Thanks for the quick replies. How big are the lockers? I don't need much room, but thought I could put 6 peoples light jackets in one? Maybe long pants if needed?

I think so, but you may have to cram them in there.

$7 per day and you don't have to pay again if you switch parks - just take your receipt. They give you back $2 (non Disney dollars) when you return the key. I think even the smallest lockers would hold 6 light jackets without any cramming at all. If you add 6 pairs of pants, a little cramming might be required. I think at least some of the parks have smaller and larger lockers. Inquire about a larger one when you rent. The cost is the same regardless of size.

We've been to WDW 5 times, but this summer's trip was the first that we rented lockers. We read on these boards about the advantages, so we did it. Wonderful idea, and we'll never go without a locker rental again. The lockers at MGM were huge, and you wouldn't have any trouble getting everything in them. The lockers at MK and Epcot were average, and the ones at AK were smaller. But, it was well worth the $7, especially if you are going to change parks and feel that you will need something (like a jacket later in the evening).

We always use lockers, too. Great place to stash jackets, rain gear ( we all know how spontaneously it can cloud over!), and if you're not staying at a Disney resort, it's a great place to stash any purchases you make.

Ya never know when you're gonna want that perfect Splash, RNRC, or TOT photo, but who wants to carry them all day?

Great Point. I like to take pictures and video with my family... but I also like to enjoy a few rides, sans the camera equipment. I usually start the day carrying the cameras. I make a special trip back to the lockers at some point in the day and drop-off the equipment and souvenirs. Then, it's off to do some of the things that Dad wants to do (like Kali River).
